Obviously senseless as the author
Sorry bros, can't you point out my mistakes without hauling insults? That's very sad you know. Simple correction would have best served me other than this.

Local production of food and agricultural products, reduction in smuggled petroleum products and reduction in terrorist and violence robbery. All these arent good enough? What's wrong with Nigerians making money out of rice instead of the vietnamese.

I get that Nigerians dont trust government, heck young people dont even trust older people. The result of distrust at this scale is a whole raft of conspiracy theories.

But some things are clearly evident. We can not continue to equate progress with the absence of pain and inconvenience. There is always a price to pay.
True!

But in as much as I agree with you on some points there are still some areas where I will beg to disagree!

@TheBolded. No Nigerian is making any money other than the political bigwigs as this was not intended to capture the middlemen on the strret. The value chain of the locally produced commodities are not going down well as they are supposed to. Reason why there's no balance on the market price.

You and I know Nigeria can not afford to produce the quantity and quality of grains needed to feed Nigerians without depending on the so called Vietnamese or imported rice. We are way too huge to rely on the locally produced rice.

There are so many things which some people aren't seeing about this border closure. Its not anything about increasing the efficiency of goods produced within. There are some political games behind it.

You never imagined why bags of local Rice which was selling for less than 14k and 15k 20k all of a sudden skyrocketed to 21 and 25k respectively.

If not for anything else, at least the locally produced rice should be selling for 14 or 15k, then we know truly, our government are genuinely encouraging homegrown products. This doesn't end here, it cuts across several other product lines. Rice is just the frontier and I hope you know what happen if proper measures are not accelerated on time.

A looming inflation!

So long as I am not the type who always cry over the things I can't change, there's only one thing I see on this issue of this Border Closure. Its a calculated political gimmicks which those at Nigeria helm of affairs used to enrich themselves. This may be unbeknownst to our presidential economic council.

Border closure is of no economic benefit to the Nigeria Economy, most especially as it regards the current situation of the country!

The people who control the power used that to impede the importation of foreign goods, particularly on the area of Rice Importation, drive consumer demand at the local market, hence steeping the price of locally produced commodities thereby making more money for themselves or the government or so they said.

These are some of the scenarios that are well written on the script. Many more are yet to be revealed.

...lol...you literally just communicated your feelings to a lady just now so why were you saying it's hard.

Friction comes about during communication when you are overly concerned with what the person might think rather than listening attentively to the topic of discussion and taking cues from body language.
Alright. Thanks.

Noted @Bolded.

I think it’s easier to communicate with people when you aren’t face to face to be fair though
I think that's relative to individual differences and personal preferences as well, cos I prefer communicating with people, including strangers on a one-on-one level than over the texts, emails or messages, abeit being an introvert.

An alarming introvert at that!!!

Though it's sth I have been fighting for the past few years, when I started being conscious of myself, and It has affected me in several ways but thank God for the considerable progress I have made via the help of some amazing bookclubs, Toastmasters and several other social and meetup events, which have helped positioned me better in terms of my communication skills and the likes.

Yeah you’re right, still linked to anxiety but not necessarily directly related/correlated. I think most people have a degree of it
Absolutely!

Don’t know if this has anything to do with introversion but whenever I’m at a gathering/party/club etc where there’s dancing, I can NEVER be relaxed enough to dance without alcohol. Not because I can’t dance, I’m actually pretty good objectively speaking, but I ‘people watch’ people when they’re dancing lol so I know it’s highly likely that someone would be doing the same to me cheesy

If there’s someone adamant on dancing with me for example, if there isn’t alcohol involved I can’t even pretend, I will just stand there stiffly like one goofball

Funny thing is I’ve danced on stage to big crowds and I don’t mind it at all, but when the environment gets a bit more personal and initiate I turn into stone lol
Madam, your own personality has nothing to do with introversion. I think its more of a Stage Fright than what you mention.

The most annoying part for me is that most times, I am always short of words or let's say I don't usually know what to say when I am with the opposite sex. It has cost me alot in my little journey in life.

Most especially in my relationship with the ladies. I don't find it easy to communicate my feelings and that has made me remain single as I had always been. Meanwhile I have been of age to to get into one.

Advise me please!!

This your story really touched me and I don't have choice than to sympathize with you. Its a very sad one seeing people go through hell all in the name of marriage.

What marriage!? I think marriage is supposed to be a leap unto peaceful and more enjoyable life where different people meets together, combine their effort to achieve more meaningful results.. But here, its the opposite.

I pray that God should give you the wisdom to know how to follow your family and your husband family too. However, do not forget to follow your heart. You will not be wrong making decision which will offer you peace of mind.
