Adebowaletunji: is a pity dude but u were plain silly. Madam, the insult is not necessary. Haven't u made a mistake before? I equally buy airtime from airtime vendors because direct mtn data is very expensive, and I refuse to be dashing mtn free money. I know a lot of people in this forum do it too. The key is to find a reliable vendor and stick to him. OP, I feel ur pain, it's one of those things in life. U win some, u lose some. |

I can bet u that 90 percent of those youths are unemployed. They are just hoping for the small hand outs that would be shared to them at the end of the day. Because of the pittance, many of them would sustain injuries at the end of the day |

one million and one nigerians have told me to go into comedy but am the introvert type.
Moved to Abu Dhabi last year but got scammed to the extent i go airport go kneel down raise hand up for an immigration officer to give me ease of passage say i wan go back nigeria. You wont believe the above but it happened. Guy, ur just so funny, it's crazy. But this country is something else. They tell you to graduate with a good grade and u'll get a good job. U finally graduate with a good grade but no job. They tell u, "no, if u want a good job u have to get loads of certifications as ur degree is no longer enough". U borrow money, suffer ur head and get the certifications, still no work. When u still complain about ur fate, they tell u that ur not being pushful, dynamic and prayerful. When you manage to convince them that ur doing ur best, they end up telling u, "well, it's because of the crumbling economy and the state of the nation." I'm like, why didn't u tell me this initially and saved me the stress? If I had put all the money I used for extra education into business, I know where I would have been now. |

ProudOlodo: At all faites, rather an inactionable offence. Lol. I guess most of us missed your first entry and wouldn't mind knowing you over again...just your discipline, area of interest, and if you don't mind, school, location and marital e-status I remember you're that lady that inquired about the best suiting career area for your courses in first and second degree....Oh! I'm already doing the introduction...over to you Faites. Lol. U remembered me. I stay in Lagos where I'm looking for a career change. I have already put in 5 years in in the media back at the East. I did mass com in my first degree, and switched to industrial sociology and personnel mgt in my second degree to give me more versatility. Oh, and I also have a basic knowledge of french (which is helping me tremendously right now). Career wise, I'm actually looking at consumer /customer relations, HR etc. Someone once suggested being a Legal officer (which sounded nice sha) but a lawyer vetoed it. Did I leave anything out? If I did, kindly remind me. I thank everyone who welcomed me. And as for ur question ProudOlodo, I have no e-flame yet. But this ur moniker sef |

ProudOlodo: Hahahaha. amicable09, why seekest me thou na? Shey you must spoil my carefully constructed gospel just because I didn't introduce you....
Okay. Faites, I'm just seeing your moniker around on the chatroom. Here's amicable09, she's nice as daisies in my flower vase but right now she just chose to be like a cactus. She runs a nightcrawling gang here with ksstroud and abimbawealth (mingled e-boos). Surprisingly her e-boo Lero15 has no problem with it. She has a 1924 history with Dahveydson...I don't know what it is but it made her complain about tollyB's new e-flame with him. You'll get the rest of the stories as you stay with us. In this room, there are plenty nice people like her too, from the babies like abimbex007 to the patriarchs and matriarchs like Papa davide470. Feel free to use the room and mingle as you please...may we get to know ya? Sure. They don't give real names here or I would have given mine. I'm not that new to the room. U may not have seen me cos I don't participate in the conversations. I just log in everyday to check for new vacancies (I hop that is not an actionable offence ) |

ProudOlodo: Lol. My sister, we all learn everyday o. All the good places that suit you have not all been taken yet Like some wise e-person I know once said in her e-diary, THERE'S A PLACE FOR EVERYONE. Keep applying, rely less on them Jobberman and all, and you'll sure hit the Bull's eye someday Thanks man |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Jobs/vacancies Section Chatroom by faites(f): 10:16pm On Feb 02, 2016 |
ProudOlodo: I've applied severally too through Jobberman and doubted there was any truth in them forwarding one's CV. But I once received an email correspondence from a firm I applied to through them. It's an evidence they still forward CVs though I can't comment on the assurance that they always do so. But what I do most often now is look up an opening I see on Jobberman elsewhere and contact the HR directly if I can get their contact. That gives me more assurance than Jobberman's automated response I feel like crying now. I use Ngcareers and I've not gotten a single interview invite from them, though I get their automated mail. I'm just thinking about hundreds of those applications I've sent out through them which may as well be a waste. No wonder I've not yet gotten a job. My mind always told me to send to the HRs directly, but I felt it would be double application. God bless the person that asked this question. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Jude Ndukwe: An Open Letter To Mbaka by faites(f): 9:04pm On Feb 02, 2016 |
xpac01: And only you and other selected few are over weighted with this burden of shame. Look, Prophet Isiah, prophet Samuel and host of other prophets were used by God to prophecy whom the kings of Israel will be and they were also used to forewarn them (the leaders e.g Saul) of any imminent dooms. Now I wonder why the fuss about the priest prophecying of the leadership position of his country And from his whole prophecy, you can depict that its a clear voice of God. I am sure God will also be ashamed of you and others who have same mentality this your article bears. For him complaining about the position of his transfer, the man is merely airing his view which is very clear. A man of God of his calibre should have been accorded some privilege in the position of his transfer. He owns many assests and properties which has been a means of blessings to both catholic church leadership and it's members at large. I know OP you weren't the author of the article, now I'll appreciate if you can help tender this reply back to the notice seeking author of the open letter above. What do you mean by a man of God of his caliber? When he willingly dedicated his life to the church, did part of his vow include luxury? Catholic priests swear to poverty so he has no right to complain about small accommodation or his properties, which he is not even supposed to own. |
