For you to be the Chief executive officer, they must be other executive officers who are in some way major stakeholders not necessarily shareholders. Infact CEO and entrepreneurs are not always mutually inclusive, most CEOs aren't even owners of the business eg MTN Nigeria An entrepreneur can still grow their businesses to become CEOs. I think it is imperative that everyone has a family doctor/nurse who is diligent at his work accompanied with years of experience; one you can put a call to whenever you are unwell especially during this critical time, it's a pity many has watch their love ones died (my sincere condolence) all because #covid19 has taken over our hospitals, isolation center has been the order of the day, nurse are afraid to treat patients among others.
However, I think a personal doctor would have know you well to prescribe a drug that will work for after narrating your feelings. for instance, someone I know who attained a temp of 39oC put a call to his nurse and malaria drug was prescribed to him which he used accordingly and the temperature drops and became fit again, had it been he has gone to a government establishment that day such as offices or even hospital, he might have been sent to isolation center, tested for #covid-19 and awaiting test result and don't forget, high temp drains blood faster, what will happen if he doesn't receive the needed treatment at that point in time.......
Hence we all need a family Doctor/Nurse whom we can trust and who can trust us during this pandemic.
Kudos to our health officials in the frontline fighting Covid-19

The Nigerian system portrays a believe that if one is not a business owner/ CEO, then he's nothing. Is it a misconception or the truth

When you work for someone,
You are told what jobs to do,
How to do them,
When to do them,
Where to do them,
Who are they for, and
Who to do them with.
In all remember you don't have access to the profits of the job,you are only giving what pleases the owner



My views though

The market/client (who might be working for another firm) determines what a business owner does.
A client set a deadline for a CEO to get his job done and the business owner replicate same to his staffs and much more

It only seems the system is rotating, anywhere you find yourself within the system, don't envy others, not everyone can be CEO and if you can, work towards becoming one with all reasonableness
As a worker/staff, be diligent at your work, it all comes with its own gain.

The government herself is not serious. The process of getting approval is so cumbersome in Lagos and you get frustrated. If you are an investor and you want to put your money on a project, you do the needful and apply for approval, the process can delay for years if care is not taken especially because of operatives that want to exploit you.
In most cases, people felt they can't but continue with the job so as not to divert the funds. The process is frustrating and needs to be worked on.

Well, absolutely right, the process might be frustrating and about it taking years, that's in the olden days ooo, if you have your documents complete and your survey plan has no issue as well as your tax record is up to date and finally if you don't frown at the officials , you will surely get your approval in months...

after collecting your CofO they will reopen the building, mind you most of the buildings sealed C of O is awaiting at Urban and regional planning at Alausa, they just need to seal the building to collect unnecessary levies.
they have to wait for building to get to two Storey before sealing or marked for demolition witch-hunt

You aren't completely wrong but of course you are not right because CofO is just one of documents needed for development permit which is often replaced by title document if you don't have it on ground.. have you ever wondered who approves CofO?? , Then you will know it's not just hanging around. And do you just say unnecessary levi, then I think tax should have been categorized as that too, if you have done the necessary thing before you setup a building, I'm very sure nobody will ask you for anything and if they do, you only tender you approval and not money and in case of demolition that cannot be waved, you will be compensated.

The first and foremost reason a building can be tagged illegal is if development permit have not been granted for such building before it's erection, also if what is on ground is contrary to the approved building plan, it can be tagged illegal
As regards where the building is sited, it may be a reason for it's illegality if the land is on government acquisition i.e government owns the land and has a proposed development for it in future and mind you, government land is government land, if this don't work on it, another might come and develop even if it has been left for several years and that's why you should consult Town Planners for advise

Concerning Topography, yes of course a building might be illegal due to that which is determine by the bearing capacity of the soil, if you construct a 4floor building on a land that can only take 2floors, then it becomes illegal and of course, the development would have not been approved if you've applied for development permit before building.

Well, Material used cannot be critically counted as a determination of illegality unless tested or probably there's a collapse

The truth of the matter is, getting your permit before building will save you from any form of embarrassment and you will build with joy and confidence lol..

Most atrocity committed today can be linked to negligence on the part of parent in training their kids as they grow, other than school fees, feeding among other physical responsibilities, parent are bestowed with the responsibility to train their children to distinguish between right and wrong however many parent are not always around to know what these kids are up to_ how well do you know your child?? is a question every parent should be able to answer.
Moral:
If you don't train your child, the society will (gone are those the society gives good training), train your child conscience right from young age, of course they are curious about a lot of things, give them time, answer every of their questions else they will seek answer outside and they may likely get the wrong one
Moreover, It saddens the heart to know a woman can give birth to 3children with 5 men(not father) in this generation and end up living alone saying men are all the same, who did she want to bestow the care of her child to??
The society that is full of corrupt practices, sexual immortality, love of money among others and you think morality will still be the same, absolutely not..
Moral:
women, wives, remain faithful to the husband of your youth ehn, he's your child's father, all those aged men calling there wives, mummy wa, e get reason ooo, e get wetin she don endure....
