It's not cap. I'm a millennial and I remember the 50 Kobo and one Naira coins.
I remember my mum increasing my money from 10 to 15 Naira when I entered JSS 1 and how happy I was.
Nigeria's economic deterioration has been so swift that younger people may struggle to believe those stories.

Soludo brought back the 50kobo and 1naira coins in the 2000s. But the FG frustrated him.

As at 2010 banks could give you N1 coins if they run out of notes.

Yea baba dudu. I used to to buy it too. And Santana as well. One sweet that looks like foam. It came in many clolours it melts once you put it in your mouth and colours your tongue.
