To me , HxH was meh... Wasn't bad, wasn't the best either.... To me the chimera ant arc wasn't so memorable, I can't even fully remember what happened in the arc. A few characters of HxH were intriguing though, I particularly loved illumi

Why hxh is gold
Characters are weak. Power-ups aren't easy. Sacrifices are made. Not everyone comes out in one piece when facing someone that is clearly stronger.

I wouldn't say better world building, because solo leveling is based off the real world, and HxH doesn't have a better plot... It's like every other shonen anime out there like I said, it's not so interesting to me, and solo leveling hasn't even gotten to the fun bits yet.

What really separates Hunter x Hunter from other Shounen is the fact that every arc is completely unique and different in almost every way. They also flow right into each other naturally despite being so different. The writing of Hunter x Hunter is consistently brilliant with very few flaws and tends to be very intelligent, making the viewer question things as if this were a physiological anime. Hunter x Hunter also has the two best anime arcs of all time as far as I am concerned. Those who have seen it know which arcs I mean.

HxH is overrated to me, I honestly don't find it so interesting, yeah it has far superior character building, though that might partly be because of the fact that solo leveling is still in its early stages... And Solo leveling might seem repetitive at first, as all manhwas (except a handful), but the plot thickens later and a lot of surprising sh!t happens later on... I got to know this by reading a bit of spoilers on the novels.

What aspect is solo leveling better than hxh because the last time I remember hxh has
Better characters
Better world building
Better power system
Better plot
The only side I see solo leveling beating hxh is art style

Solo Leveling is a power fantasy dumbed down to its simplest level. The plot is incredibly linear and predictably. The main character is incredibly bland so that the readers can live through him vicariously. I had high hopes for it due to all the hype but I'm a little disappointed.

However, I can understand why it's so popular. It makes for incredibly easy reading, the art is good and the action scenes are long and frequent, I can easily breeze through 10 chapters in one sitting. I can easily skim through the dialogue without missing out on any important information. I can pick it up after a long period of time without getting confused. So at the end of the day it's just good enough for me to keep reading.

True. The story is pretty boring imo -- fight an enemy, get stronger, repeat...
The supporting characters are almost useless and only the MC really gets to shine

It's only popular because people love anything with an overpowered mc.... the art is great though

It's totally possible. I mean, if Misfit of Demon King Academy can be enjoyable in all its trashiness, don't see why enjoying Boruto would be so surprising.
