My engine block broke on Sunday on my way coming back from owerri just after ore, due to oil pump failure I’m about buying another tokunbo engine because I don’t want to work my engine now and start facing another issues later concerning engine. My mechanic first told my that the ‘borale’ engine is 270k for 09’ Corolla I told him it’s too much so I told my customer that’s into spearpart in ladipo to help me price and he told me 170k, my mechanic called me this morning again telling me he has gone to another place that it’s 250k. Pls can anybody tell me the right price and a good car engine seller I can meet in ladipo because I intend to put back my car on the road as soon as possible. Thanks as you help me with ur feed back

I use my Bluetooth obd11 to clear the code, does this one need special adapter to clear?

the adapter to use clear that catalyst code is available, you will need 2 of it,. It's about 5k for both

Thanks so much, I actually just changed the sensor because of the p0420 code and then this one started coming up, going to change it today. I hope the situation get resolved because I’ve not been able to get back on road due to the high fuel consumption of the vehicle. I’m really tired

They damaged your A/F sensor while replacing catalyst. Change that sensor, all should be well afterwards.

Thanks bro, my mechanic cleaned the injector nussle and hoola check light disappeared. I’ve not really driven much to confirm is it’s still consuming fuel

Pls help me with these faults, I realised my vehicle have been consuming so much fuel which is very disturbing so I decided to scan it for the faults and these are what I found, I just changed one of the coil about 2 weeks ago and I just came back fully on the road ystd which is when I noticed the rate of the fuel consumption. Your advice will go along way plssss

So today check engine light came on, I was so worried about it, I decided to visit a mechanic for diagnosis, d mechanic guy said 3k to check code, what!!! I repeat, oga dats too much nah, he said 2k last with anger I drove off, straight to ikeja, got a car scanner for 3500, diagnos car my self got 2 code, p0505 and p0456, jejely drove home to read what's up with car, will take car tomorrow to mechanic to fix. The guy wan rip me off, this is the 21st century.
I advise car owners to get a scanner instead of paying in necessary money to just scan the car.
