Let me go straight to the point....Before I start, please don't mind how I construct my English...

WHAT IS ADDICTION

Addiction is a condition that results when a person ingests a substance (e.g., alcohol, cocaine, nicotine) or engages in an activity (e.g., gambling, sex, shopping) that can be pleasurable but the continued use/act of which becomes compulsive and interferes with ordinary life responsibilities, such as work, relationships, or health. Users may not be aware that their behavior is out of control and causing problems for themselves and others.


We all have that thing that we are addicted to. We all have that habit we are so much entangled in(Even the Op).. The good news here is that it's never too late, believe me...
One can be addicted to anything, anything that takes most of your time. The time you should be using to do many more productive things, the time you should use doing those assignments , the time you should use to really make something out of your life... . Like they say, life is short. Do you really want to waste the really short time you have to live on earth taking drugs, mastvrbating,drinking, sitting for hours in front of that video games, spending half of your time watching porn on the Internet, sleeping all day? Think about it. Is it really worth it? Does your life depends on it? Remember we alone are to be blamed for our success or failure in life.... We alone are to be blamed for however how lives turns out to be.. Remember, our destinies are in our hands....

Like I said earlier, it's never too late... That addiction can be stopped!!! Stopping an addiction is a thing of the mind, You need to make up your mind...Be determined..
Stopping an addiction is not an instatenous thing... . Remember that drinking did not turn an addiction in just one day.... So an addiction cannot be stopped in just one day.. .. It's a gradual process....

WAYS TO STOP AN ADDICTION

1)ADMITING YOU HAVE A PROBLEM

A problem is never a problem until you admit it is.... Why don't you ask your self this question, "Is this thing really worth the time I'm devoting", "Is this a good habit", "What would be of me if anyone sees me doing this"? These are the questions you should ask yourself.... Once you realize you have a problem, we go to the next step...

2)TALKING TO GOD

Remember you have a maker, that person you are never shy of tabling your problems before... . Talk to him, pray to him, he listens.. . Ask him to forgive you of your past deeds, remember, to some religions, if not all, addictions are sins.. Tell him to help you stop that habit, he listens to the cry of mercy and he will surely help you out...


3)DISCONNECT YOURSELF FROM WHAT I CALL STIMULANTS


Stimulants are anything you see or touch, that might have a negative impact on you. They are things that can ginger or propel you to start that addiction, to start those things you really want to stop.... If your phone is the reason you mastvrbate, you can stop that by changing your phone to a lower one that doesn't browse. Even if don't have to do that, you can control yourself abstaining from anything pornographic on the Internet... If your friends make you drink, stay away from them.. If staying indoors leaves your eyes glued to the television set, go out make some real friends, do something, go on a date. You can do it... Just cut yourself off anything that might make you want to fall into that addiction.


4)BE DETERMINED


No one controls you to do those things you do..... Your hands do the thing.. You own that hand, you control it.... Be determined, always say no to those urges when they come..You can do it!! !!


5)BE PATIENT


Addiction like I said before is gradual process before you started, likewise stopping it... You need patience, you don't stop an addiction in one day... Let me give you a cool tip, time yourself, say to yourself," I won't do thing this week", work towards what you've said,. If you make it, increase the duration to 1 month or 2.if you pass this one too, try 5 months. if you pass, try a year. It's possible... You might fail, start all over again, time yourself...You can make it!!!

Nomoreloss died this morning at his Lagos residence.

Nigerian singer, Olumuyiwa Osinuga popularly known as Nomoreloss has passed on in Lagos.

Nigerian Entertainment Today gathered that the singer was hospitalized two weeks ago after being diagnosed of Typhoid. We’re told he was discharged and recuperating before the relapse this morning, March 21, 2016 that sadly led to his death.

Our correspondent reached out to his manager, Joice Ize Iyamu who confirmed that the multi-talented entertainer is indeed dead.

‘It’s true, I don’t have all the details yet. He died this morning at his house in Lagos. I’m sorry I can’t talk too much at the moment’, she told NET.

Born in Lagos in the 70s, Nomoreloss attended A.D.R.A.O. International school in Victoria Island for his primary and secondary education.

When he discovered his love for music, he began studying the rudiments of music from one of Nigeria’s finest instrumentalist and jazz saxophonist KUNLE AJAYI.

He launched his career as a rapper while in high school before switching to become a singer. He was at different times, a comedian, band leader, event planner, compere, director and talent manager.

Many colleagues say he was one of the most gifted entertainers of his generation.

Nomoreloss will be greatly remembered for the role he played as the cordinator of the ‘Save OJB campaign’ during OJB Jezreeel’s kidney ailment in 2013.

Some of the his popular songs include ‘Iyawo Asiko’, ‘Oro Re’, ‘Ololufe’ and others. He was also sang the hook in Ruggedman’s famous track ‘Ehen pt 1’.
