Humans have a long way to go when it comes to equality. Its easy to preach but when it's your turn to show equality, what do you do? |
GeneralPula:Population or eligible voters? Talk the one you know. The Ibori is till worshipped like a cult hero because of those who came after him. It's getting worse with every new administration. The governor deserves x10 the bashing Buhari is receiving but the politicians here know how to play the ethnic card well so Buhari is why delta is moving backwards. |
No name checking please ![]() |
starbuck: the guy dey laugh joor. He is very transparent tho, that's why I'm always afraid he is in the wrong profession. I never knew he will be honoured in this Nigeria. I always thought he'd be retired from the service early for his juniors to be service chiefs |

SLAP44:This report is debunking the earlier thread. That's bad journalism by daily trust. |
From the earlier thread: https://www.nairaland.com/5821854/fg-donates-250-bags-spoilt We didn’t distribute spoilt beans to Benue IDPs and Refugees – SEMA ON APRIL 28, 2020 6:54 PM / IN NEWS / By Peter Duru, Makurdi The Executive Secretary of Benue State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA, Dr. Emmanuel Shior has debunked news report that the agency received and distributed 250 bags of spoilt beans from National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons, NCFRMI to IDPs in the state. The Executive Secretary in a statement issued Tuesday in Makurdi stated that the clarification became necessary after he was quoted out of context during Monday’s handover of essential items to the agency by the National Commissioner of NCFRMI, Senator Baheer Mohammed. According to Dr. Shior, “I was represented at the ceremony by the Accountant of the Agency, Mr. Stephen Burbwa who in the course of his speech noted that among the items received two months ago from the NCFRMI were 250 bags of beans which were immediately distributed to IDPs to ensure that they did not get spoilt before the official handover date. “It was therefore disheartening to read in the media where he was quoted as saying that we received spoilt beans from the NCFRMI and distributed same to IDPs in the state. scarplanet: scarplanet:Hahaha My code worked fine before I posted. You are right about line 3 being irrelevant. I put it there anyway ![]() |
num1 = eval(input("Enter number one " )) num2 = eval(input("Enter number two " )) largenum = 0 if num1 > num2: largenum = num1 elif num1 < num2: largenum = num2 print(str(largenum) + " is the large number" ![]() else: print("The numbers are equal" ![]() |
scarplanet:The program will return a value if either of two conditions are met. If num1==num2, this program will print num1 as larger number instead of terminating without results. elif statement will cater for all conditions. The op is not concerned about that lol. He wants his program to run. |
