Alternatively, you can find someone who has the farm and learn from him for sometime before starting your own farm.

Pls guys can a person start a rabbits farm as a full time job?I am planning on venturing into rabbits farming

Start it as a part time first, then when you start making money from it, you can now gradually dedicate more time to it and gradually move into it full time. Don't go into it full time without learning the ropes of the business by starting small first. You might get your fingers burnt and lose money in the process of going full time without much experience first.

what you are saying is a fact that I've already accepted. I hope to become a farmer in the near future. Only that i've never had enough experience on farming.

The only way for you to get the experience is to start. Without starting, you won't get the experience. Start small and then learn gradually as you go.

Anything Agriculture or Agro related or food business is actually good, where you can make daily, weekly or monthly income. You know food is a daily need of people.

Yes farm mechanization is good, but the problem is that most farmers cannot afford it.

Live where the cost of living is relatively cheaper. Plan your future better.

The problem is that many people have been brainwashed by the issue of white collar jobs which most times do not exist or are too limited in number.
Agriculture / Re: Must You Live In The City? Why Village Life Is Better!! by FarmsFarmer(m): 8:03pm On Sep 21, 2023
City is good, village is good. It depends on what you want. Just find out which is best for you, depending on your circumstances.

Unemployment itself is an invention. In ancient times there were no govt to complain to. Kings were unquestionable(kabieosi/kabiyesi) yet you had to pay dues and levies.
Now unemployment has been invented, people can survive through some means then claim unemployment.
There is also underemployment. There is the fear of machines also, when in fact, they should be celebrated and embraced to boost productiveness.

The modern man needs to travel back in time to appreciate modernization.

A lot of people are now lazy because they know the government will give them palliatives.

When there was no government it was everybody for himself. But now we have more unemployment and laziness in people.

They failed to utilize the available resources they have, to make money.

Many do not know that it holds peace. No congestion. Furthermore ICT is making it more exciting.

So much peace in the village. City is too expensive and congested.

So many King living like peasant.
Royalty living as slave
Imperial living under servitude.

True talk. But many don't even realize it. Slaves in their own country to otter people, instead of making use of the opportunities available in their local towns and villages to better their lives.

Village life sweet pass but security no dey. I hate Lagos with passion... I just need a quiet secure environment with internet. I can do solar for electricity but security mennnnn...Nigeria is a zoo

It's God that protects Nigerians. Insecurity also happens in the city. Only God's protection is what you should pray for. It is well.

Well said OP. I will suggest a little variation to your write up. It should not necessary be your village, but any rural area where there is peace and one can farm in peace and make money. I live in a rural area, as of today, i thank God for everything. There are so much benefits living and doing business in a rural area. All you need do is scan the environment and look for needs that you can provide in that area.

Yes, not necessarily the person's village, it can be any rural, local or semi urban area with low cost of living. But if it's your own village, you will spend less on acquiring land, and many other benefits as an indigine.

City is associated with good amenities and so big boys or people with big boy mentality prefer it. Elsewhere city cities are built around commerce and industries. Our cities are more of ancient settlement whose economic identity has been eroded. Most costal cities were fish market hubs. Desert/arid cities mostly grains. In between you have other cashcrops and cattle's. The idea of productivity that was suppose to sustain cities have been relegated in favour of fast oil money.

A lot of opportunities in the village, but most people don't know. The Nigerian home video films they watch has misled most Nigerians to think that you must move to the city before you can make it. But city is actually not for everyone.

Village is relative, some villages don't have banks, Internet, safe drinkable water , light, good schools etc.

Health is wealth

Hmm, true.

But some now have these facilities, though not comparable to city standard. Depends on the area.

Yes, true.

There are jobs, just create a job for yourself. Find what people need, fulfill that need and you will make money. You have already provided a job for yourself by doing so.
Agriculture / Re: Must You Live In The City? Why Village Life Is Better!! by FarmsFarmer(m): 6:35pm On Sep 18, 2023
Village life is better. Not everyone can live in the city. The city is already over populated and too congested. Too many people coming to the cities who have no business being in the city at all. Wasting away your destiny where you cannot achieve your destiny. Find out where you can achieve your destiny. It may just be in the village. It may just be in farming. A word is enough for the wise.

I come in peace!

Do you want to make money? Do the dirty job and you will make money. Do something for yourself. Stop depending on the government. Do farming. Nothing good comes easy. Be ready to work. Keep working and don't give up.

Must you live in the city?

Why can't you live in the village or small town with very low cost of living?

Must everyone live in the city?

Must everyone live in Lagos, Abuja, Portharcourt, etc?

Some people are living in the interior villages but they're so rich and financially stable that they can feed those in the city who pay house rents and all kinds of city bills that people in the village don't pay.

If things are not going well for you in the city, why can't you swallow your pride, move back to the village, secure your farmland and begin farming and see how God will bless you within a short time??

Stop wasting your life.

Start farming, it's very profitable and reliable. Far better than wasting all your life in the city because you want to belong or do what others are doing. Don't mind what people will say, but start farming to build a better future for yourself and your family.

I come in peace.
