This move has destroyed the very basis of why the UN was created. The UN was supposed to discuss issues of conflict between members to avoid going to war. It was created after WW2. So how can Iran present it's grievances to the world, and have an opportunity to discuss with the US if it cannot even enter the UN because, it is housed by US?
The UN general assembly needs to be moved to a less war hungry country like Switzerland or it be scrapped altogether.
