forget all the media hype, akpabio is no where near Amaechi. lemme give you highlights of Amaechi's achievements; models schools all around the state, 60 hospitals in 60 days, greater port Harcourt city project (a brand new city under construction ), a new stadium, the monorail project. Rivers State roads might not be as Beautiful as akwa ibom roads but they are quite decent except for East West road that looks like a road in war zone that have been ravaged by constant shelling.

akpabio on the other hand is a media freak. for every 1 million naira project, there's 100k set aside for publicity of that project. and in the 7 months I stayed in eket and uyo in 2011, the only thing I saw were roads and of lately the ibaka deep sea port.

I don't think there's anything akpabio did that's so extraordinary. ppl keep mentioning ibom power project which was 95% completed before akpabio came into power.

Ondo state where I served, it takes about 4-5-6 months before the pay materialises. The batch before us haven't gotten theirs too.

I'l advice you give it some few more time before creating a thread on this issue.
