Our POP is on the 6th of June, and Ondo State Government has not done anything about our state allowance (For Corps members serving in Government parastatals) During Orientation period, we were told that we will be paid N55,000 for the period of 11 Months, which we are waiting up till now, and the worst of all, 2011 Batches are yet to be paid. What they will say "Don't close your NYSC account, you might be paid" (WASH)..I just want to know if Ondo State is actually paying us or hiding in the umbrella of politics to score cheap political points?

Greetings to my fellow NL NYSC pioneer friends Mykejones, Loskee, 9Zeros, Bukky, Ani, Sigba, fynboi etc (No vex I don forget una names) L0L, Well Ondo State is a nice place, Very Cold due to a lot of inselbergs surrounding the state, I'll definitely miss the people, Friends I made during my service year, I really enjoyed where I was posted, I wish you guys favour and a lot of opportunities in your endeavours... Always look for something doing after service year till the job comes, DON'T stay IDLE, and always stay updated about jobs, training, etc...I pray God will favour all of us IJN...

Hello Bigfat nice job u're doing here....Thumbs up, actually I'm a graduate of Marine engineering and I have an HND as my qualification, I want to further my studies abroad and I want to know cheap schools I can find in Europe, something like a Top-Up degree or a PGD program in Marine engineering or an engineering management programme ...Thanks

I'm Currently serving in Ondo state...Batch B precisely, Ondo State is a nice place, A lot of inselbergs, Storey Buildings made from Mud, the place has a lot of tourist sites which you can visit, But I'll tell you the truth, The Orientation Camp is an eyesore, Especially the Toilet Facilities is nothing to write home about, When I was in camp I had to learned "Shotput", The State Coordinator is a very funny guy, we call him "Papi" But don't take his funny ways granted cos he's a disciplinarian, He is very strict, It's only in Ondo state that corp members service year is extended, He is kinda "wicked" tho.... Ok enough said if you wanna know more about the State and some do's and don't... Just add me up pin:28F1CE9D

Yes you did a great mistake, mind u Airtel 1GB is N1400 and the code is *440*1# or text BCM to 440, what you actually subscribed was Airtel Social which internet is excluded in the package

lol...I laff in "IGBO" don't be surprised that IKARE na big city for us batch "B" corp members serving within that vicinity, it's a large town at least u can get wat u need, I know a lot of u batch "C" will be lobbying to get posted to Akure...but mark my words...Ikare is one of the best place to serve...

Just assume u'll spend 5hrs (depends on d type of vehicle and current road condition)...It's not late if you go to camp by wednesday but I assure u, u won't get a comfortable place to sleep, and also u'll get ur kits late...

Guy u're OYO...u better take cash that will take u throughout ur stay in camp...D weather is freaking cold in the morning and late in the evening because it's surrounded by mountains..so get a thick blanket and sweater

Go Early in the morning tomorrow to Ojota or Iyana Apaja garage and u'll see a direct bus going to Ikare...

I'm a batch "B" serving corps member in Ondo State....I'm very happy for u guys posted to Ondo State....though it's a nice place sha (manageable) peaceful, no Bombs etc...If u are travelling all d way from PH I guess u should take a bus going to Akure, although some buses might wanna ply Ikare route due to high influx of new corp members...But incase d bus is going to Akure direct, tell d driver to stop you at Ikare direction; Then you'll take another bus to Ikare N250 but trust Nigerians the price will go up dat day, Expect to pay N400-500...I guess you guys can talk to the driver and he will bring you guys to camp direct... Ya sure u'll see a cab that will take u straight to the camp but bro it will be expensive just budget lyk N500, and sorry dude I'm not serving in Akwa Ibom State and I don't know state of the camp facilities..but I promise you that u'll enjoy every bit in Akwa Ibom State

I'm a batch "B" corp member serving in Ondo state, also from Akwa Ibom State, The Orientation camp is close to Akwa Ibom International airport, so u won't have a problem locating d camp
