Hello house

So happy for Batch C corpers...at last u guys are going to camp, anyway I'm a batch "B" corp member serving in Ondo state...I think most of u guys should have known me from the other house (Batch B), so anybody posted to Ondo state should holla at me for "Ondo state orientation tips" lol

I'm a corper serving in Irun-akoko, Akoko North west LGA, Ondo State, I can say Mimiko is a failure to his own people, no single good roads, no basic amenities to d people, people are suffering here, and there's no chairman and councillor to execute projects for their own people, Mimiko is now the Governor,chairman,councillor because of greed and corruption, Come October 20, he's packing out of the gov't house

I've download tweecaster to my android phone, but I'm having difficulties in loggin in, I doesn't refer me to a web browser to login and authenticate lyk when loggin into Ubersocial on blackberry, it will just show "connecting to twitter" and then "fail to connect to twitter" pls somebody should help me with this problem,

My bag is fulled with photocopied documents and passport photograhps now.
I attended morning drills only on the first week..same with parades. I flagged mufty wheneva,howeva and whereeva.
I sleep in my hostel untl wheneva i was ready 2 leave bed..neva was i bothered.
I cooked my meals in Mami myself..when i felt i was tired of what they served me in Mami. I was later identified as white apron corper.
I lfet the camp on three occasion witout exeat..came bck same hour tho. Jus wanted to see how breakin d rule felt.
I talked to evryboday i felt comfortable wif in camp..black,white,fat,thin,fabulous,alinco and their likes.
Platoon 8 member..neva drank/smoke al tru mi stay.
Now i got posted to a town..although i wanted a villa.
A Nairalander made us proud in camp sha..the guy make sense al tru..but him group dey drink pieces!
Wel..datz d summary.
Returning back from Rural Rugged now.

Posted to Ile-Mopo Comprehensive high school, Irun-Akoko, Ondo State, its a public school, recently renovated, but there's no lodge, Men d village is not lively at all...though there's network, Light (partially OK) well water (Gosh I've only been seeing this on documentaries) Though accommodation is extremely cheap, getting myself a two bedroom flat for 6k a year lol (sounds funny nbut its true)

It happened to me too...u are just automatically activated for Hyundai Promo, which N100 is deducted everyday...if u don't load a card for 4 days, and u mistakenly load N400 or N750, N400 airtime will deducted from ur account

FACILITIES: Uyo is a small organized town, not as big as Lagos, but it is well managed and it is still undergoing major face uplift, Facilities you may expect to see in Uyo includes, A newly built flyover. (claimed to be finest flyover in Nigeria), The Largest Roundabout in Africa(Completed, its at Nung Udoe Junction), The Longest bridge in Africa (Under Construction) Ibom Tropicana ( Walt-Disney ofAfrica) this is where Silverbird cinema Uyo is located too (Oboy movie na N300 only there), 5 star hotel (lol some corper dey say "oboy u dey mad ooo, wetin I wan go do there"?) Don't Panic if you don't go there ur service year in Uyo is a waste, who knows who u might meet there? its not as expensive as it sounds, just go there and chillout with a bottle ofcoke lol, we have Ultrafit (modern sports center) are u a sportsman or woman? Then this is a place for you, located @ Ewet Housing Estate and owned by former Nigeria Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Nsikak Eduok, men there are a lot of places to visit in Uyo, when you come over, u'll see things for urself..
POWER SUPPLY: Hmmm well even in Abuja there's no constant light, so even in uyo there's no constant power supply; but @ least its manageable....Though power supply is stable along Wellington Bassey Way (Formerly known as Barracks Road), Ekpenyong street axis due to proximity to the Government house and Police barracks...though power supply in some areas are epilepticbut you need to endure...that's NYSC for you.
SECURITY: Well as far as know, there's no safe place even in USA, there are some security loopholes in Nigeria, so Uyo is not left out, but due to the heavy presence of Joint task force in strategic points, tragic moments are minimised in Uyo...at least no bombs( so no fear joor).
NIGHT LIFE: hahahahahaha I know this is what you have been waiting for...(See una face Ashawo-boys n gehs) ok nah...though since the Okada business was banned, night-life slowed a lil-bit, but as of now I think, night-life is coming out of its shell (big time)..there are few clubs and sit-out spots which includes Monty lounge, Lounge-uno, Wimpy bar, Billionaire's club, etc...so no dull moments in Uyo.
