noblezone: The Niger Delta militants were fighting for the oil in their lands which the external colonial masters handed over the internal colonialists.hehehehe....! keep giving it to them bro. i think this ppl reason from their anus. they contribute absolutely nothing to the nation yet they want the best from the national treasury. the few cows they manage to grow, they charge the hell out of the consumers because to them, those cows are not part of the national endowment. but what is naturally deposited in another man's domain gives them sleepless night because they call it our oil. |
do u think this country will ever achieve sheer unity? as far as Nigeria is concerned, unity is just a fantasy. we have lost every element of love and to cap the ugly situation, this country is consistently punished with clueless, selfish leaders. so what does all this rubish hold for the future? |
a typical oringo woman |

I hardly find attraction towards criticism or perhaps, I'm not good at that. Therefore, my basic duty here is to encourage you. You really tried and I must commend your brief work. But since criticism isn't condemnation, I would still love to spot a few areas that might not be considered to be of standard. 1. Compression: this short story seems to have undergone unimpressive compression into one paragraph and this virtually diluted the supposed juicy taste of the story by removing what would have been a major comprehensive factor. 2. Irregular tense: from the first sentence, the story opened on a passive tone and it would just be proper to stay passive because it was meant to depict a past event but it suddenly swayed to indefinite construction. 3. Incomplete sentences and poor punctuation: many sentences in the story are not complete and that reduced the story to a mere informal note. It will be most rewarding also to give proper attention to good punctuation. Regards! |
Joke intended? Why am I not laughing? |
'You have got no reason whatsoever to condemn my fiancée before my very presence. If she is as bad as you claim, what was your effort to make her a better person, being your sister?' Donatus scolded Labisi for the second time. So many ugly devices kept popping up in her head. Some times, you can't tell the devil by mere look because dark minds are often hidden in pretty faces. Donatus seemed to have known all these. He demonstrated it when he ignored many destructive tongues that conspired. It became more obvious when he stood with Tosi at her points of need and finally declared an interest in a life long union irrespective of her poor background. Whether he was acting under a spell as many people did accuse, he neither knew nor cared. What mattered was the joyful reality of their compatibility. Such attitude from the rich, young Donatus convinced Iya Tosi that it was an appointed time for her daughter. The long awaited man is here. She noticed a huge difference between Donatus and the other three men who peeped almost in a close succession many years back and suddenly took to their heels immediately the bell of formal introduction rang. |
still waiting to hear from u guys! |
Why has this tired fo.ol refuse to retire? |
Some lies seem inevitable but we end up paying bitter prices at times when we give in. What has telling lies cost you? |
dayokanu:NL is a wonderful site, even donkeys can now talk. he-goats who are supposed to be in Ijabu farm burning charcoal to make their miserable end meet are here dishing out hatred as if they can kill a fly. |
i am wondering, what's happening? why is everybody interested in criticism? GEJ this, GEJ that. Doesn't GEJ deserve any credit? i can't believe that ppl of Nigeria are reacting this way at 50+. i mean, if u ppl want to crucify Mr. president, let it be for crimes he committed and not for those u anticipate. he removed fuel subsidy so he could build refineries and u ppl have already started calling him names in anticipation of failure in erecting the refineries. u 4got so soon, his promise on energy. electricity is getting stable and nobody opens up to give him credit for his progressive effort in that arena irrespective of sabotage. have a rethink ppl! |
u made a point |
will the heaven come down if u support this government? with ur mouth, u decree what happen to u. i just wonder why some ppl choose to shut their ears at any sign of progress. GEJ this, GEJ that, as if Nigeria used to be a paradise. u most probably 4got to ask urselves the possible outcome of a unanimous contribution towards the betterment of this country. and whether Goodluck is truly a good man, u neither know nor cared. all that mattered to u is that there are points for which u can use and nail him. GOD is watching! |
as far as i amconcerned, ikemba deserves his wishes. and to all the haters here, what makes u spend so much time opposing another man's wish? i will definitely die one day and when such times comes, u might want one or twi things to be remembered for even in your poor states. pls be still, IKEMBA is our hero |
Since nobody can remedy this wrong, let's just hope that AWO's case is already decided. if he did what he claimed, then he is probably getting his reward in heaven but if otherwise, he pays eternal prize in hell. chikina! |
PretiEbony:hmmmm! how do u knw jobless people when u see them if u are nt one? Ajibel:Ur greatest treasure, being a treasurer? This translates to being a mere bag where both ugly and good things a deposited. That shows the emptiness of ur brain. Agybabe:u fink so? u knw what! one crooked joke won me a prize over there, but here, it got me weak interpreters |
