2017 BBNaija contestant Gifty, has continued to fuel pregnancy rumors as she stepped out for an event organised by the show.

Few weeks ago, Big Brother Naija contestant Gifty Powers had been reported by several news outlets to be pregnant for dancehall artiste Mr 2kay.

According to Stargist, the two had once being a couple and had traded subliminals on social media. 2kay himself went on a television show where he blamed the ‘horoscope for his failed relationship with Gifty

The actress had to announce on Instagram that Canadian rapper Drake is the only one she wants to be pregnant for.

Rocking an oversized black top, Gifty posed alongside former housemate Uriel with her leg crossed to avoid giving up a glimpse of her mid region.

A 19-year-old woman has narrated to operatives of Lagos State Police Command how her ‘Madam’ assaults her daily, while the husband sodomises her at night.

The Lagos-based couple is currently being investigated by the Police over physical and sexual abuse of the maid at their Aunty Toyin Street, Kodeibo Estate, Isheri-Oshun, Lagos.

The victim, Blessing Joseph, who has been working with the couple for six months, hails from Imo State. Vanguard gathered that throughout her stay with the couple, Blessing was subjected to different forms of physical abuse from her madam, Isioma, and sexual abuse from the madam’s husband, Chigozie Ezeafor.

It was gathered that whenever Isioma was away or asleep in the night, her husband sneaked into the victim’s room and raped her through her anus.

Narrating her ordeal, the victim said she has suffered terribly in the hands of the couple, who delight in dehumanising her regularly. She further revealed to the Police that her “Madam,” Isioma Ezeafor, beats her up at the slightest provocation, while her husband, Chigozie Ezeafor, sneaks up to her whenever his wife is away and has made several painful attempts to penetrate her anus.

However, trouble started when, on December 17, Isioma Ezeofor’s temper got the better part of her and she emptied a kettle of hot water on the maid, scalding her skin.

Confirming the report, Superintendent Chike Oti, Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Command, said the last attempt by Mr. Ezeofor to rape the victim brought the issue to light.

The couple is being interrogated at the Gender Section of Lagos State Police Command and will be charge to court at the end of the investigation. Operatives from the Gender Unit of the Police Command has have taken the victim for proper medical care.

A Nigerian man identified as Kenny, has revealed how he saved his wife from committing suicide, after she spent the money for their house rent that he kept with her.

According to online reports, the husband said;

“My house rent expired last month, so I told my landlord to give me till the end of December to put myself in order because I was thinking of travelling with my family.
Before then, I gave my wife 75% of the house rent to keep pending when I will complete it. I just received a call from my office today that salaries are being paid today, besides I am on night duty so it will be till evening before I will receive mine.I asked my wife to get the money ready that I am going to compete it today to enable me pay the house rent tomorrow against the deadline which is on 24th of this month, only for her to tell me that she has spent the money on our feeding.

I got angry and yelled at her and called her close friend to ask her where she kept the money. There’s no day I don’t provide for the family, so how come she spent the money on the family? .
So after all said and done. I got angry and went out with my 1 year old daughter to cool by temper with a bottle of Hero. Then entering the house I saw her hanged herself. So I rushed and echoed for help. Please, if u are in my shoe, what will u do?”

As the debate on tithing continues, veteran Nollywood actor, Zack Orji, says he pities those that say bad things about pastors and condemn Tithing.

In a recent interview with Broadway TV, Zack Orji said;

‘I am a pastor, ordained for five years now. The issue of tithing is a personal thing. I get very careful about making certain statements I have watched some people condemn tithing, say a lot of things about men of God and I pity some of those people because they are speaking out of ignorance. Drink Water
A lot of people don’t consider this when it comes to bad breath as they think water will simply spread the stink around. Oral bacteria is however anaerobic, meaning that they will thrive in the absence of oxygen and presence of dryness which is why your morning breath will smell particularly offensive if you wake up with a dry mouth.

Water does not only help to rebalance your oral environment, but it can also help you remove any food particles stuck between teeth.

Sugar-free Gum or Mints
Gum and mints have always been on standby from time immemorial as they provide a temporary solution. While they won’t destroy the bacteria that’s giving you the bad breath in the first place, but they’ll buy you time until you can get a toothbrush to do the work.

All you need to do is to ensure that they are sugar-free Because oral bacteria tend to feed on the sugars you eat, and then create acid as a byproduct. This eventually affects tooth enamel, but in the short term, it can give you bad breath.

Take Fruits
While a lot of fruits have natural sugars, they can still inhibit the bacteria activity in your mouth. For instance, apples contain polyphenols, which can suppress bacteria and help eliminate sulphur compounds in the mouth.

Fruits high in vitamin C such as oranges, tangerines and grapefruits helps to create a beneficial, acidic environment that keeps bacteria from proliferating.

Scrape Your Tongue
Chances are if you don’t have a toothbrush, you won’t have a tongue scraper handy, either. You can however improvise with everyday tools, specifically, a spoon.

The point of scraping is to get bacteria off the tongue. While a scraping tool is ideal, a spoon will work almost as well. Just hold the spoon upside down, and run it lightly along your tongue. Make sure to rinse after each Scrape and bacteria-destroying swipe.

Take Yogurt
Yogurt contains active, probiotic cultures which can be very effective in freshening your breath in the absence of a toothbrush. It competes with the bacteria in your mouth and lower how much hydrogen sulphide that bacteria gives off.

Hydrogen sulfide is one of the components of halitosis or bad breath, along with methyl mercaptan. The combination of the two has been compared to a mixture of rotten eggs and fermented cabbage which is not exactly the kind of breath you want to be sporting when you want to have a face-to-face conversation or kiss that woman of your dreams.

Iraq hanged 38 jihadists belonging to the Islamic State group or Al-Qaeda for terrorism offences on Thursday in the southern city of Nasiriyah, provincial authorities said.

It was the largest number of executions in a single day since September 25 when 42 people were put to death in the same prison.

“The prison administration executed on Thursday in the presence of Justice Minister Haidar al-Zameli, in Nasiriyah prison, 38 death row prisoners belonging to Al-Qaeda or Daesh (IS) accused of terrorist activities,” said Dakhel Kazem, a senior official in the provincial council.

Amnesty International has voiced repeated concerns about the use of the death penalty in Iraq, which it ranks as one of the world’s top executioners behind China, Iran and Saudi Arabia.

Burnaboy has been arrested over Mr 2Kay robbery incident. According to a statement by the Police, he has been interrogated,detained and will be charged to court on Monday.The statement reads;

The pop musician, Damini Ogulu, a.k.a Burna boy, who was sought for in connection with the robbery attack on another popular musician , Mr. 2kay at Eko Hotel early last month,reported to the police today 15/12/2017 at about 1700 hours. He was subsequently arrested, interrogated and detained and would have his day in court on Monday 18/12/2017.

The jet-black Ayam Cemani chicken is a unique breed that originated from the island of Java, Indonesia.
Florida-based breeder Paul Bradshaw started selling them for $2,500 (£1,700) each in 2013.

The all-black chickens, nicknamed the ‘Lamborghini of Poultry’, were his “most requested bird ever”. The chicken is named after a village (Cemani) in central Java.

Their beak and tongue, black comb and wattles; even their meat, bones and organs appear black. The blood of the Ayam Cemani, however, is normally coloured.

The birds’ black colour occurs as a result of excess pigmentation of the tissues, caused by a genetic condition known as fibromelanosis and is also characteristic of Chinese Silkies, a black chicken treasured across China.

Collectors covet this bird because it’s beautiful, exotic and hard-to-get. The roosters weigh 2–2.5 kg and the hens from 1.5–2 kg. The hens lay cream-coloured eggs with a slight pink tint.
