No you aren't. You make use of an on screen calculator. Start getting used to solving math questions without calculators. It would really help.

About TOEFL

I will encourage every applicant to write toefl because most schools use it as a basis for awarding teaching assistantship. In my own case, I didn't write Toefl because I turned in my applications late and money factor too. Things didn't pan out the way I wanted. I got admitted and though the grad school waived toefl for me, my department said I was not proficient. I got half TA and I had to pay the balance of my tuition. I would have saved myself the stress of paying if I had written toefl.
When you come here, you will see that you speak better English than other non-native English speakers that Oyinbos would ask you 'do you speak English in Nigeria?'.

Cool... Is Gre also a factor??

People got in with less GRE scores, so that's not the only determining factor. Having a high score is very good, doesnt mean you can't get into top schools with lower score.

Alright thanks...

Politics / BREAKING: Osinbajo Signs 2017 Budget by Fatezee(f): 6:53pm On Jun 12, 2017
Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has signed the 2017 appropriation bill into law.
Mr. Osinbajo signed the budget at about 4:40 p.m. on Monday inside his conference room in the presence of the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari; Senate President, Bukola Saraki, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, Ministers and other top government officials.
The total budget figure signed is put at N 7.44 trillion.
Mr. Osinbajo said his signing of the budget was a milestone in the implementation of the economic and growth plan programme put in place by Mr. Buhari in April.
He said the processes of putting the budget in place had been smoother than that of 2016 with no allegations of errors.
“There were far few cases of acrimony unlike in the past. There is no doubt at all that our democracy is maturing very well,” he said.
The National Assembly passed the 2017 Appropriations Bill on May 10 after raising from the N7.28 trillion earlier proposed by President Muhammadu Buhari in December last year, to N7.44 trillion.
President Buhari is away in the United Kingdom for medical treatment.

It is the first time in recent years that an acting president would sign the budget into law.
More to come…
BACKGROUND
Mr. Osinbajo had on May 19 received the N7.441 trillion budget passed by the National Assembly.
Initially, there were controversies over whether he or President Muhammadu Buhari, who is away in London for medical treatment, would assent to the document.
But the acting President’s spokesperson, Laolu Akande, cleared that doubt on May 18 when he said Mr. Osinbajo would sign the bill once satisfied with its content.
“Just so we are clear: when the time comes, everything is set, and he is satisfied, Ag. President Yemi Osinbajo will assent to the 2017 Budget,” Mr. Akande tweeted at the time.
The National Assembly had last passed the budget, increasing the total sum by N143 billion compared to what was sent by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Crime / Two Gang Members "Disown" Evans, Kidnap Kingpin by Fatezee(f): 12:26pm On Jun 12, 2017
Onwuamadike’s kidnap gang denied their kingpin while they were being paraded by the police at the Lagos state Parade headquarters on Sunday.

The kingpin, famously referred to as “Evans” and six other members of his gang were arrested yesterday by the police at his Magodo residence after long hours of gun battle between the gang and the members of the Nigerian police force.

Suoyo Paul, one of the gang members, said he had never been part of any kidnap operation with Evans. He confessed to having met Evans sometimes in 2007 as a friend to his former boss but had never had any engagement with him.

The 42 years old native of Bayelsa state said he stopped kidnapping and released his guns as part of the Federal Amnesty agreement he signed with the federal government in 2009

However, he confessed that Evans contacted him a few days ago, claiming that the police had seized his guns and he needed him to supply him with guns.

“I have never one day gone to kidnap with him. But when he got into a problem with the police, he called me that the police had seized his guns and if I can get him more guns from Bayelsa. He said he will pay N3 million into my account if I was able to supply him guns. It was the call that th police used to trace me” Paul told pressmen.

Also, Ikenna Emeka, who was introduced as head of the gang’s hostage camp in Igando, said he has not for once gone on any kidnap operation with Evans, alleging only to running errands for the kingpin after he returned from Malaysia last year October.

He also claimed never met the Evans but only took instructions from him via phone calls.

“I have never gone on any operations with him. He only sends me messages, like to go and meet people or to go and give somebody money but I have never gone on kidnapping with him and I have never carried gun before. I have never been to his house. He only calls me on phone with a private number and you cannot call him back” said the 28 years old native of Anambra state.

Evans was declared wanted in 2013 after a failed attempt to kidnap the owner of Young Shall Grow Motors, Vincent Obianudo.

According to the Force Public Relations Officer, Jimoh Moshood, three of Evans members were killed during the failed kidnap attempt but the police were unable to get Evans picture which he claimed would have helped in apprehending him faster that it was.

He also revealed that the police officer who led the team that foiled the 2013 attack was killed during the faceoff between the gang members and members of the Nigerian Police force.

Five AK-47 rifles, one AK-49 rifle, two double-barrel rifles, two English pistols, 59 AK-47 magazines with ammunition, 1272 rounds of live ammunition for AK-47 rifle, and five different plate numbers, were recovered from the Evans and his gang.
