I can NEVER be tired of being current in world politics. What baffles me is d fact that all i mean ALL the HATERS of Obama are the very ones drumming our ears and eyes with d new "campaign after victory". For me, winning hillary is winning d whole election. The old man might breakdown prior 2 november like yaradua.

Foreign Affairs / Everibody Done Turn To Obama For Nairaland! by fatherab1: 11:44am On Jun 06, 2008
At the outset of the uphill task when the lanky black american decided to run against the "almighty' hillary, only few of us on nairaland supported his bid. Even after the super tuesday of strings of victory, nairalanders and nigerians still posted negative rubbish on nairaland. Today ALL OF UNA DONE TURN TO OBAMANIANS.

Make una allow us hear word bo

Politics / Re: And The New Yoruba Leader Is---- by fatherab1: 11:08am On Jun 02, 2008
the lengthy write up is tooooooooo biased. Gbenga Daniel cannot be on the list when we talk of experienced leaders WHO HAVE BEEN TESTED AND TRUSTED. None on the so-called list qualifies like Asiwaju B. A. T. He fought the military like Adesanya, He fought Obasanjo like Awolowo, He is a lawyer like Adesanya, a senator like Adesanya, an astute politician like Awolowo, etc. He commands the respect of mainstream afenifere leaders like Pa Ajasin etc.
No1 can beat his records

Why cant some people stop doubting the evident?

Frankline, why not get married if u are still single and lonely?

The truth is only bitter to liars! So change your mindset. Besides, don't judge your future or that of others by the past background. Many people fromm failed homes still forsake that ugly past and still build correct marriages for themselves. I don't know why you're being different.

Properties / The Solution To Pot-holes In Nigeria Has Been Finally Discovered! by fatherab1: 1:20pm On Apr 24, 2008
The brain behind this discovery is one of my mentors in the construction industry. It is in a powder form. When this substance is applied to the road 2 be constructed, it becomes impossible for pot-holes to develop for atleast 3 decades! This materia has been tested in many states within and outside Nigeria for close to 10years now. That is why we want to make it public. Even on existing potholes-ridden roads, the simple solution is that we apply the substance to the problem areas and for more than 30years, the problem remain settled.
The engineering chemistry behind the substance is simple. It breaks the properties of any laterite to swell, shrink, et etc and enables the soil to gain strength steadily especially when in contact with water. My mentor the innovator and i are still baffled at this discovery.

We are already getting contacts from government officers and 2 governors who are willing that we come to their states to solve their pothole headaches.
If you have any link to a minister, governor, or any relevant personnel with respect to road construction, contact me on 08055312414 or ab2k7@yahoo.com.

Some Chinese guys came to buy this billion-dollar secret some time ago for a funny sum of N10million! It's the joke of the century.

Culture / Is Verbal Abuse Part Of The Yoruba Culture? by fatherab1: 12:46pm On Apr 24, 2008
There are many yorubas on this forum, so they will be able to do justice to this question. How come it many yoruba people are soooo quick to abuse? You dont dare price a yoruba seller's goods or else she throws you an abuse or even a curse. You dont drive slowly in front of a yoruba driver or else you 'gain' another curse! It's either "oloshi', 'ori ope', the common one "Omo were', or 'moto npa iya we'.

I understand but dont speak the language so dont mind spellings

Properties / Re: Building A Fence: Cost Of Precast by fatherab1: 8:45pm On Mar 25, 2008
In time past, I have worked with precast and also in-situ casting (i.e casting directly at site. in building an ordinary fence for ur home, u dont need a precast. The fence is made of blocks! Concrete columns can be erected at intervals to provide structural rigidity for the fence especially when your property is along the road. Industries may use concrete even precast concrete throughout.

Using precast for the columns I think it is out of place except you have the money to waste or the work requires unusualurgency. However, that cost can still be negotiated depending on the nature of the job. But personally, i think with lesser amount, you can still buid ur fence. So negotiate further.
