adonainana:
Hotel business

At first i chopped money like there was no tommorrow, it a low budget hotel with sales of about 5k per night. Was banking in about 30k per day. It was like blood money for someone who has never made that much money from anything for like the first 6 months.

Mistake 1
About late last year, Nigeria happened and Buhari proved himself to why he was Buhari, inflation and purchasing power, i noticed people who still wanted to bring babes didnt have enough money left like that cos of food inflation etc. Most were now going for short time service which was 1500 naira for 2 hours. And as a man once you are done with what you want to do, your eye go clear till next time konjiii hooks you and you are back again.

So in essence i was cashing in more 1500 naira bookings instead of the 5,000 naira bookings resulting in less income per night

Mistake 2
When i was making crazy money per day, i too was forming big boy dashing people around money and acting like i had money, what people came to the hotel to do, me too i carried people to other expensive hotels to do.

Also i was repairing almost everything in the hotel customers will spoil, anything be painting the same wall over and over again

Meanwhile price of emulsion went from 4k to 12k minimum, i still would be doing renovations non stop

I even wanted to buy diesel generator at one point in time and give customers AC, Rooms that i know they wont still sleep in for less than 5k a night. Thank God i couldnt afford the diesel generator

Mistake 3- Ramadan period
Chai this period for like 2 months was hard ooo, its like everyone was holy and no one wanted to spoil thier fast, but once Ramadan ended, things went back to normal.

Conclusion
Save your money and put your money where your mouth is.

Now im still back but more clever now, I have stopped pointless renovations. And i have started saving my money,

Even now i have started lying to my staff that there is no money for renovations, lol the same people that remit 30k per day room bookings for me every day haha

Also im trying to do a palmwine lounge thing. I have noticed one thing its when people are drunk or tipsy thats when they start wanting to do the obvious.

Lead city university students too that always came to camp at the hotel and be doing party around the night looool

he was the only one being paid, i was always asked to bring in more money. the farm folded when i refused to bring in more money.

Your father's middle name.
With all those fake bedsheets you sell that wash upon immediately dipping into water to wash. You are a Mumu following a Pedophile as your prophet. You probably were married off at 6year old as a baby too.

Hadith
Narrated `Aisha:

I used to play with the dolls in the presence of the Prophet, and my girl friends also used to play with me. When Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to enter (my dwelling place) they used to hide themselves, but the Prophet would call them to join and play with me. (The playing with the dolls and similar images is forbidden, but it was allowed for `Aisha at that time, as she was a little girl, not yet reached the age of puberty.) Some Shia Hadiths because the Shia reject Sunni Hadiths but even the Taqiyya Lying Shia hadiths are even silly than Sunnis.

According to Shia Hadith. One of the sign of MuhamMad's Prophethood is the earth covering Muhammad's feaces. Silly Crazy Shia Hadith.

How many years and counting is it now that you left your 9 to 5 job?? And has the entrepreneurship been rewarding so far??
Leaving it was due to some circumstances. Still looking for job but pending I am being engaged than staying idle.

As I resigned from my 9-5 work. I joined the hustling group

Wake up around 5.30, pray, sleep back and wake up by 7. Prepare breakfast for hubby and me.

Go to my retweet group on WhatsApp drop the link for my business tweet.

Go to where I sell cosmetics and jewelry (Physical store).

Arrange the wares, sit and start advertising my online business(bedsheet and duvets+towels) at the same time attending to customers in my store.

Close by 7 and go home to zaddy

Entrepreneurship isn't easy especially when our economy now is very tight. No money for luxury again except food undecided

Lagos needs serious decongestion.. before it's too late.
You'd be surprised to see the number of illegal structures, shops and shanties not on the Lagos State master plan but if the Works Ministry attempts to demolish them, some will cry persecution.

Then one more problem I observed is the amount of cars and vehicles on our roads. Everyone wants to form big man, noone wants to use the public bus system to ease traffic. We must change that orientation and encourage people to do more of LASG buses and ferry ride. where all of una dey always go sef, no single day of peace on Lagos roads.
The public transport are not even enough.

I waited for more than 20 mins at Bolade bus stop waiting for BRT, I had to board Danfo las las and was stuck in traffic for more than 2 hours on my way to Agege. This night nko, waited again, the two I saw said they weren't going again, everywhere is blocked, they are going to Abule Egba to park.

At the end, I had to go back to the local garage and waited for a danfo and paid 300 to Ladipo
