Family › Re: Do Rich Kids Usually Know How Lucky They Are? by favelli(m): 6:24pm On Jun 02 |
dederocs: They are working not working smart, working smart is having your product, being the product, not a mere tool to get to the product...most want instant gratification, not ready to put in the work required, not ready to be disciplined...your everyday life habits, behavioural patterns, what you proffess and people you listen to matters.
I didn't mention rich, I used the word wealth, riches come and go, wealth lasts.
I have mobilised billions in the course of my business interactions, sometimes it's good to listen, read comments and move on, if you don't understand ask for clarification, no be to do oversabi, it will expose your cluelessness...you can be working but not working smart, there are a lot of smart people not working smart....it's all about optimisation.
By your response I see your thinking still myopic, I hope my response helps the youths out there. Good evening sir/ma. I totally love your response. I am an entrepreneur, although very low scale. Do you mind if I emailed you regarding business guidance and any other help tips that could get me in tuned with the awaiting market? I would be very grateful for your advice |

Lordpeckxy: In the game of entrepreneur there is no right path, every path is forged by the individual itself. Many entrepreneurs out there that quit their jobs to build something out of nothing, just had a vision. A vision most people would think it's trash. In shark tank a guy came in with this idea called Doorbot that practically provide your with visuals to who is knocking on you door. The Shark investors tossed the idea to the trash and called it dumb. The dude left there without an investment, but guess what He later got an investor and went around to sell his company to Amazon for $1Billion dollars, it's now called Ring and it is used globally now. That's the kick about entrepreneurs... An idea might be dumb to a handful of people, doesn't make it dumb to the world. Whatever you're planning to do, just do it, there is no right time.
Just like they said, The best time to plant a tree was 50years ago, the next best time is Now! Thank you very much sir for your insightful reply. Am grateful |

Lordpeckxy: Immersing myself in Shark Tank USA, although the opportunities there cannot be compared to Nigeria, it opened my eyes to the entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to say Yes, even when it is clearly spelt NO, the thing about been an entrepreneur is that You could be wrong and still prove yourself right. Hey there, please would you like to elaborate more on how something can be wrong but yet be proven right in entrepreneur. Thank you sir |

MasterJayJay: They were not kidnapped in southeast where they have attended orientation. They arrived Ondo and got kidnapped.
I thought they said southeast is the most dangerous place on the planet.
The entire security organization in Nigeria is a big joke. Kidnappers are getting bold everyday because of how inept our police are.
I am ready to offer my intelligence to help combat kidnapping in Nigeria, but will they employ me? Good afternoon bro, rather than seeking government employment, why not sit-down and draw out a working plan of how this intelligence of yours can help rescue all of us from this menace and then, (although I don't know how yet) table your proposal to the right ears, this way they either pay for your knowledge or partner with you to combat this. Either way you earn more value in their sight than being employed. Have a nice day |

OZIOGU1: Dont give up brother, i started the same hustle back in the days and today i can bet you, things have changed, i hustle groundnut selling from Abacha road to maraba junction, i sell recharge cards, i make phone calls( during the good old days of visafone) i patched road to get 10,20,50 naira from drivers and motorcycle owners, on a particular day i got heavy slap from a military man for asking for money and crossing the road with some rope. that same spot, i was there and someone offered me a security job in Abuja town, for 4500/month in zone 6, i cant reject it coz it was out of love from the young man, sometimes lack of transport will make me drop at war college and treck to my duty post, all these were moment of memories i can never forget in my life because that was the beginning of what i am enjoying today, No yahoo, no scamming and i made it, i am not a billionaire but i am very comfortable in in this harsh biting economy.
Today, i pay bills and i have reserve, don't give up brother, PM me let me send you a link for a job available lets try our luck and pray. Big things start small. Good afternoon sir, I read your reply to his post and was inspired and touched at the same time. Normally I wouldn't have mentioned you as you said there was a job opportunity which you wanted him to hit you up and try because you were specific to him, but when I checked your profile you said you should be asked anything and you might be ones God's sent. Please am also in search of a job. I reside at Abuja. Finished service this year. Thank you in anticipation |

Politics › Re: Indefinite Strike: NLC Set To Announce Suspension Of Indefinite Action by favelli(m): 7:54am On Oct 02, 2023 |
adioolayi: Well....with the momentum the strike notice has generated, it would have had devastating effects on our fragile economy if allowed to go on..
I must commend the NLC and TUC leadership for this struggle...it wouldn't have been easy...
They technically forced the FGN hand....the President announced NGN 25,000 support to wages of low cadre FGN workers....NLC and TUC were able to force the hands of FGN to raise this to NGN 35,000 and also included everyone under FGN payroll...this is huge achievement in my own opinion. We can argue the amount is still small considering the social economic realities of Nigeria today...but it is something achieved by these pressure groups.
They also achieved Tax waivers on Diesel..that's also huge.
For me..it's a win-win situation for FGN and Labour unions.
My headache now is the fate of State Government workers and many of us working at private establishment...this struggle, as usual doesn't cover us..
State workers will have to start their own fight with their state governor.
No one will fight for private organisation workers. Our hope lies only on positive results of economic policies...FGN need to sit-up..we need to start seeing his positive results When you say everyone under the Federal government's payroll, does that includes the NYSC |

Maryam1234: You can use Alom as well.Any alkaline substance can coagulate Tofu e.g, Tamarind,Lime orange, the akamu water Bintdawood suggested. It seems you're desperate to make it work,I can be of help if you won't mind. Its something a first timer can not do without guide because, even the handling while in the pillow at the final stage needs mentorship hence, you shake it off and waste the efforts. Thanks for the reply. Actually I have been successful on my first try when I use lemon, it was on my second try using lime that I failed woefully. And yes I would really welcome any form of assistance you would like to render oo. Because tofu na like meat to me and it rarely satisfies me. Besides since I left Kano I rarely buy outside anymore as they don't meet the standard |

Bintdawood: Here is the picture Wow, nice See me oooo the more you reply the more questions I seems to have. You wara looks like you already added fresh pepper and other spices even before frying. And also it's looking well integrated. How did you manage to achieve such please? No vex, I love tofu alot |
Food › Re: Cook In Your Kitchen, Take Pictures And Post It Here. SIMPLE! by favelli(m): 3:26pm On Dec 23, 2022 |
Bintdawood: For me, after washing the soya bean, we then soak it for like 1hr before grinding, filter it and put on fire to boil, you know the water that sits on top of filtered akamu right? Thats the water we pour into the boiling soya milk, it will begin to coat. Dont forget to put enough water into the soya bean paste before filtering o.
Am sorry for that, you know lime makes the tofu to crumble and . Lemon is better. I use lemon and even tamarind too. Just that tamarind changes the color to a bit dark. Thanks very much for your reply. So can I also buy akamu from the market, soak it in water over night then use the water for the process? And also would vinegar work as a coagulant too? Sorry for stressing you with so much questions |

Bintdawood: Fried tofu (awara) in egg Really nice, please can you give me a small guide on how you make your own tofu from scratch? Have only been successful once. I tried using lime orange for the separation of the curb on the second try as lemon wasn't available but It failed. And also, is there a particular type of soya beans that should be used? Because last time I used 10cups of bean, but the quantity of tofu I got was really small. Felt like I wasted the beans should have rather opted for soya milk. Thanks, as I await your reply And also please you can tell me other forms of coagulant that I can use instead of lemon |
