Jobs/Vacancies / Re: NLNG Announces 45 Vacancies For Experienced Hire positions by Favoured35: 1:17pm On Oct 16, 2023
Does this mean folks interviewed in August that haven't heard anything should move on?

I think we should just state or tabulate the roles that have been called to resume just like someone did during the interview stage invite....

This is to enable others move on already....

@Nicer
Any idea when they dispatch emails for the 1st set of EH that wrote the online test?

And is there going to be a 2nd test before interview proper?
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: NLNG Announces 45 Vacancies For Experienced Hire positions by Favoured35: 6:49pm On Jul 05, 2023
@Salemed002

Please elaborate

Is the information about the 2nd Test/Interview confirmed?

or

is it the rumour you are referring to here?

I want to believe they will also send emails to the unsuccessful candidates so that there is closure and people can move instead of keeping pple under pressure

Actually, its like this for people who are generally new to investment. Not trying to talk you down though. I respect you.

However, you should learn to invest and forget. Treat investment like an expense, and not like savings. There is always a temptation to check always, but keep it low and focus on your other projects. So work as if you already spent the money, and you need to save up again.

Thanks Bro. I get u perfectly.
New lessons learnt today. Cheers

Ponzi can adversely affect your professional career

While MMM was in town, I worked with one of the enviable multinational firms operating in the country: great learning experience, great career path, pay was not bad (but you won't mind having more). It involved spending several weekends and sometimes nights working on one urgent project or the other.

Once MMM came and was paying me more than work did for really doing nothing, it impacted my work ethics. For any professional, your work ethic is a great asset, don't let ponzi damage it. There is working hard, working smart and there is ponzi. Ponzi is not working smart. Dont get it mixed up.

Recently, I needed to used a laptop at work earlier used by an entry level staff at work to retrieve some information. She is just starting out in her career. However, lately there have been lot of complaints about her work ethic not reflecting somebody with a hunger to work for success.

Guess what I saw, when I relaunched the browser: "First Profit Investment". Ponzi, also operating from Rivers State (an apparent hotbed of ponzi), then I understood her recent lukewarm attitude to work. She is probably making more from ponzi (doing nothing) than she earns from working, so she has lost interest in learning at work .

She doesn't realise working is her way of gaining valuable experience and connection that will grow her career for many years after First Profit would have come and gone

In all fairness to u, For once, i agree with ur first sentence per the above.

In the last 3 months i invested in MBA, my work morale has dropped cos i am always thinking of ROIs n hoping they come early so that i can recover my huge capital i put in.

And now this whole delays. Only collected ROIs twice. Not even sure again of what is happening.

God help us!

I really wonder how simple questions warranted this type of response? Abeg who offend you? To be Frank some people in this platform are worse than the devil himself.

Some investors have nothing to loose whilst there are some that are just paid agents!

Same with the hadizometer the porn star dude...walk away.

You both are constituting nuisance in this thread and you have no stakes. So I am not understanding why you both came to camp here.

Let's assume its a ponzi being runned, the way u guys have carried yourselves here with the insults and ur antecedents on nairaland doesn't portray u guys as having a high moral standards to advice us to reconsider our position as regards MBA.

Thus, i would summarize that u guys are pained and bad belly pple that don't like to see others progress!

My due date is 4th. Lekki branch.

@DrAkpa and legacystore

U guys pls calm down. There is no point for the insults.

Not taking sides but we don't need to introduce absurdity into simple English language. MBA made a post that payment will commence 1st Dec... The expectation is that we should start hearing the good news (they still have a lot of time till 11.59pm today). So no point introducing words like "onboarding" bla bla. They had a whole month to do so!

The other guy is probably benchmarking MBA with other coys where u wake up to alerts. But it seems their style is different.

Its better not to comment at all (and lets wait n see) than make comments denigrating other people's opinions/understanding of information. Thats prejudice and it makes one sound like a paid agent TBH!

I am a recent and calm investor with a fortune in MBA.

So, I didn't strongly believe the story of double ROI pay in Sept and Oct initially. But I've so far met 2 persons who were paid twice by MBA. One told me he assumed the money that was paid him 3 days apart in Oct were for his Oct and Nov ROI so he didn't bother to report to MBA.
However, I'm shocked that MBA isn't able to trace all the people they paid double cos I also knew they contacted some investors in that category.
Could this have also contributed to the slow down or near pause of payments?

Also, if investors in old 6 months plans may not be required to migrate to the new platform until their contract expires, there's no need delaying or stopping their payments. The last set of such contracts expires between now and Jan.

I suggest that our payments should resume promptly so we can also terminate and/or roll over onto the new automated platform as at when due.

The last set of accounts expires in February 2021. However with this extension, it will be March 2021.

I was among the last set. Invested on August 4th.
