BurialGround: How can I donate my IGBO blood to a Yoruba victim?
You can now see that accident and bad government knows no tribe.
This accident didn't check the tribes or religion of the victims before killing them.
USE YOUR HEAD. I can deduce the point you were trying to drive home. But you shouldn't start with the bolded, whatever the contextual meaning may be. Disasters know no tribe. Politheifcians only divide us for their own petty gains. |

Obi could never have won this election, no matter how you look at it. Take a second look at his numbers in the core north, he did very poorly.
Obi will be wasting his time and money going to court. I guess what you don't know is that Tinubu's numbers reduces as other candidates' numbers increases. |

Facts that, when read by a non-Muslim, would trigger spite from them towards Islam. |

Lukgaf: The just concluded critical presidential election was an anatomy of religious discrimination and indoctrination in Nigeria. Well known that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a Muslim, even called with a title of 'Alhaji'. At the same time, his wife is a conscious Christian, not only a Christ follower but a Redeem Pastor. Her gravity in christiandom ought to have erased a bitter discrimination against her husband for choosing Kashim Shettima as his running mate who is a Muslim from the North. All appeals and persuasions made to Christians to vote for Asiwaju were in vain because of different insinuating and indoctrinating sermons delivered in different churches across Nigeria to vote against Muslim-Muslim ticket. @Lukgaf, I have always looked up to you on this section, but I must mention that you disappointed me profusely this time by posting this piece here. Democracy is not attributable to Islam. But then we've been granted the right to vote based on the polity we find ourselves and based on the need for participation. After voting based on our evaluation of the candidates, there is no need to dwell further in partisanship and divisive exertions. We should rather pray for whoever emerges on the basis of truth and fairness and go on with our lives. The above scenario is just like eating pigs during crass starvation. It's not halaal. But then, the massive starvation has necessitated it. But one shouldn't indulge in eating haraam beyond what is necessary for sustenance. |

It's no news that elections are going on in Nigeria today being the 25th of February of the 2023 of the Gregorian calendar.
What should be of utmost importance to you as a Muslim looking forward to meet His Lord "راضية مرضية" = "You please with Him and Him pleased with you" is to know, learn and abide by the Islamic teachings regarding the subject matter. This then call for the questions of what is the Islamic rules on election and voting?
As it may interest you to know, Islam has rulings and answers for every event and topic. some of which may have direct rules from the Qur'an, Sunnah or traditions of the righteous predecessors and others with applied rules derived from the trio. What's the Islamic Rules on Election and Voting?
Electing the right leader in Islam is ideally done in the following ways:
Concesus of the Muslims has it occurred during the choice of Abu Bakr (RA)
The Choice of the passing away leader as it happened during the choice of Umar by Abubakar (RA).
Selection of the leader by eminent and knowledgeable personalities as it occurred during the choosing of Uthman Bin Affaan by the companions (RA).
In all the above instances , the major considerations are piety, knowledge and following the injunctions of Allah and His prophet as regards choosing of leaders.
So these factors should be your consideration when Allah tests you to have the ability to be among those that will make a choice of leadership. This is because you will account for that choice and action one day.
Most importantly, Nigeria as a nation is not using a constitution based on what Allah revealed in the Qur'an, Sunnah, the Torah and the Injeel. You as Muslim shouldn't be happy and pleased with the substitute to it called 'democracy '. You should also not rule yourself and your family with its doctrine especially when you are not under coersion.
Those that make the decision to rule the populace with man-made laws as a substitute to the laws of the heavens and the earth will answer for it.
ومن لم يحكم بما أنزل الله فألىئك هم الكافرون whosoever does not rule with what Allah has revealed is among the disbelievers.
ومن لم يحكم بما أنزل الله فألىئك هم الفىسقون
whosoever does not rule with what Allah has revealed is among the sinners.
ومن لم يحكم بما أنزل الله فألىئك هم الظالمون
whosoever does not rule with what Allah has revealed is among the transgressors.
The basis of participating to elect a democratic government which means a government who will not rule by what Allah has revealed is therefore haram because of the verses above.
It becomes permissible by the conclusion of some scholars of which I agreed to when there's a dire necessity for it as it is the case in Nigeria.
WaLlahu A'lam. You have said it right. But Kindly see the below. https://web.facebook.com/FahmusSunnah/videos/1331695027652984/ |
Islam › Re: The Islamic Etiquette On How To Use The Toilet by fawaz050(m): 10:10am On Mar 01, 2023 |
fortran12: Here is actually how to use the toilet in Islam
In Paradise we will not have to relieve ourselves. Instead we will perspire and even the perspiration will be beautifully scented like musk.
Habib bin Saleh (may Allah be pleased with him) has related that when the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) entered the toilet, he would put on his shoes and cover his head.
If the toilet is facing Mecca in your home, then try and sacrifice some money and have it changed as you will be sinning every time you use the toilet.
‘Aisha [one of Muhammad’s wives] says that, “Whosoever says that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) would stand up and urinate do not believe them, he would urinate but sitting down.” One of the reasons of the punishment in the grave is because of urinating standing up.
Upon entering the toilet, you should say: “O Allah I seek your protection from the male and female devils.” One should be very careful about the splashing of urine (as this is a grave sin).
The sisters should cleanse themselves with the lower palm of the left hand, and do not separate the legs too wide.
When cleansing yourself, males should hold their penis from the top with the left hand index finger and the thumb. Gently work your way down (as if milking an animal) so if drops are left they will come out.
Without necessity do not look at your private parts, as there is a chance of the memory becoming weak. One of the reasons of the punishment in the grave is because of urinating standing up.
This part of the hadith is materially misquoted. if you think not, please send me the reference. The sisters should cleanse themselves with the lower palm of the left hand, and do not separate the legs too wide. Not when they are in their comfortable space. |

SmartPolician: One big puzzle Lagos police has to answer is why those APC thugs foment troubles and the policemen attached to the polling unit keep quiet like iced water. Even if you cannot fight them, can't you call for backup or to fight back?
The military always stands out. You cannot try that nonsense with them. They saved the day in my PU. When LP cleared all the four polling units, APC thugs went crazy in the middle of the night (when counting was going on) and started destroying voters' windscreens. The truckload of armed soldiers that arrived at the scene made them disappear in a split second. Wao, our Police Force is really weak. Which area be that? |
