alpharoyalty: Good talk. In my honest opinion, the situation will not change until we introduce selection of people into government, military, schools and civil services based on merit and not quota system. The quota system that they are enjoying is one of the reasons they don't take education serious. For instance, majority of important civil services from custom, npc, nnpc are populated with unqualified and inept individuals and they have subsequently succeeded in collapsing those sectors of the country. Same thing with the military and governance. I am yet to understand how Nigerians can entrust their country to illiterates. I am also yet to understand why we will promote an individual in the military or civil service based on quota system and not competence. Until we introduce merit, like in all progressive countries, Nigeria can never move forward I am yet to understand how Nigerians can entrust their country to illiterates.I can't seem to fathom the bolded too. We have people in AFDB, WTO et al. There was even a time when the smartest UK family was a Nigerian family. yet, the worst of us rules us. Our problem is beyond comprehension. |

Dsalvo: Please stop talking like a defender of criminality. Yes Matawalle may have his own case to answer but this does not mean he cannot give his opinion on Emefiele's actions which are a monumental disgrace I don't think has been seen anywhere in the world in recent memory.
Emefiele undermined the integrity of the entire monetary system of Nigeria. Do you understand what that means and how seriously such is taken worldwide?
No greater crime than that at national level because any country with a rogue central bank and saboteur central bank Governor is doomed to implode 100%.
Emefiele, working for very selfish and irresponsible people, supervised the monumental loss of value of Naira against the major trading currencies of the world destroying so many small to medium businesses to the unspeakable detriment of Nigeria.
Creating SMEs, small to medium size enterprises, is always the aim of most nations because they are the lifeblood of the economies of many developed Countries. Emefiele directly worked to kill and frustrate our own SME sector. He is an evil and thoughtless rogue without any conscience or goodness in him.
Emefiele must be punished and seen to be punished very severely. It is a measure of how bigoted and casually criminal Nigerians have become that even one Nigerian can defend Emefiele never mind many who will begin senseless 'whataboutism' over his unforgiveable actions as you are doing here.
Never forget Emefiele's criminal actions put an entire nation in serious and grave trouble. Not one State alone. All this epistle Oga! You purported it as if he was acting on his own volition. For God's sake Buhari ratified the policy!!! Abi, which kind people be Nigerians sef? |

Pseudocyesis (False pregnancy ) Phantom pregnancy.
I once managed a patient who had this.
Funny thing is their body start having features of pregnancy symptoms. On Pelvic ultrasound, nothing will be found.
Few that are lucky can then be pregnant during the pseudopregnancy illness and now claim the pregnancy has been for years.
Not: Placenta no fit do beyond 10 months o. Once there is placenta insufficiency, baby will die if labour isn't active or passively initiated.

Listening to them, providing their needs on our corps member's budget.
I learned a lot of lessons about life. All these tribalism, the people in prison don't care o.
They rely on each other for survival.
Another memorable thing was securing a job during service.
I served in Agbor, Delta State. A very lovely town. |

"With all trafficking offenses, the consent of the person trafficked is no defense. The law is clear; you cannot consent to your own exploitation,” Woodrow said." That was the key thing in the judgement. Even If the boy had agreed and a consideration agreed upon, It's still an offence in the UK as their law states that there must be no consideration (settlement) whatsoever. Plus, I don't think he fully understood the implication before agreeing ab initio. |

All across this country, different ethnicities are the subjects of popular stereotypes, whether it is the notion that Ijebus are stingy or that the Igbos have an excessive love for money or that the Fulanis are cunning and more recently, violent or that the Ebiras and the Ikas are practitioners of seasoned witchcraft."By saying especially the Muslim ones, you have stereotyped and labelled good people as bad because of the behaviour of someone from the stratum. realborn: It is my pleasure to inform the house that the Manager of the above mentioned Petrol station (my last post on this issue) walked up to me today and apologised profusely and condemned the act by the attendant. He informed that as soon as he was informed of the aspersion to the Petrol Station he investigated and the culprit was immediately dismissed. Today I confirmed the pump settings are correct without any tweaking. A commendable and proactive meaure by the Manager. Thus the Petrol Station has returned to my good books.
This proves to say that Nairaland has proven very effective. It will always remain the voice of the masses. Nairalanders, Keep up the good job. Cheers Alas, this same issue still lingers and Nairaland is no longer the voice of the masses. |

My take:
1. The man already knew her predicament before he married her and yet he went ahead. He has no right to complain now.
2. The woman, seemingly, is not doing anything to help her children get their real identity by making sure their irresponsible father (s) take(s) up responsibility on them.
My advice is that for peace to reign, they should institute a joint suit on the runaway father to ensure he takes up his responsibility.
