Women don't know what they want.

Their genetic superiority and complexity disallows focus and specificity.

It is mans responsibility to mold and channel the unbridled passions of the woman in the best way possible; giving her a sense of priority and direction

We shall not relent!
We shall not be deterred!
We shall forever move toward the actualization of a sovereign and self-determined biafran confederacy.

This movement is backed by our Gods and ancestors. So you cowards and enemies of progress should prepare for destruction.

Igbo and Ijaw shall consolidate. . .this is inevitable

@@@@@

i dnt buy into all them post u had up there

ghanaians are very very bad people

i ve been there, seen and came out

wait for ur turn, then u will know what me talkin about

nevermind the bible, ghana just dnt like naija, pls no amount of big grammar will change that

and as for naija dominating their economy, hahha u cant be serious, i promise u if it was the chinese or something that was the subject now, u be intrigue how much the ghanaians are bragging on that lipsrsealed, so what u talkin about? blah balh, the bible says?

as for londoner i dnt know what to tell u, just hang in there, one day u will see what im sayin

ghana, hmm the best way to be with them is, respect them, dnt never open up to them, so when they back stab u, it wouldnt be too much damage to u
What exactly did ghanians do to u when u were there? What is the worst any ghanian has done to a nigeria? Bad mouth them? Is that the unforgivable crime?

The ghanians have allowed nigerians to dominate their economy for a long time and the thanx you give them is backbiting?

Ghanian are your family and u can't change that.

brother, you and the likes of you need to stop all this pettiness and look at the broad picture.

"Faithful are the wounds of a friend, But deceitful are the kisses of an enemy". -proverbs 27:6.

I will choose the wounds inflicted by ghanians over the kisses of non-Afurakans any day.

Most ghanians i have come across always had something negative to say about nigerians/nigeria. Jealousy, old grudges and insecurity all have a part to play in this. Nonetheless, nigerians need to respect themselves and stop dominating the economy of another land. It is logical for the ghanians to feel threaten  and react accordingly. It is their mother land and they should be the ones controlling the relations to production and distribution. Nigerians develop your own land and stop being vagabonds.

As 4 ghanians, their jealousy won't get them no where. They should stop wishing and appreciate themselves. And those ghanaians who are angered by the "ghana must go era". . .well, they have the right to be pissed and retaliate as and when due. Do me, i do you, God no go vex.

Ghanians are still family to me. Many can trace their ancestry back to nigeria. I like their cool nature. I luv them regardless.

It's funny though. . .before nigerians were shouting "Ghana, must Go!" but now they are shouting "Ghana, i must go!"

naijaking1:
I used to have your optimism about uniting with Ijaws, but not after re-reading history and listening to some on this forum. No matter how naive you maybe, just remember that it takes 2 to tango >:
Our pessimism has become a self-fullfiling prophecy. . .can't you see?
Fine, you carry igbo and ijaw history for head, you know the past mistakes and failures, okay now analyze and synthesize innovative methods of transanction between both parties. Hello? is that not the idea behind learning our-story? Sometimes one has to play the fool(naivity) in order to win. huh? 3 can tango too. huh?

You can't have a good relationship with somebody that steals from you, stabs you on the back, and takes cheap advantage of your difficult situation each and everytime. Maybe we just need more time on both sides.
Excuse me? more time? hahaha. . .we are in a state of cultural, biochemical, psycho-spiritual and socio-economic warfare with a foreign self-seeking entity that has usurped our(ijaws and igbo alike) lands, a criminal coporation that's totally illigitimate and unauthorized, and you are here talking about more time? Time is a luxury. huh?
People get back the energy they transmit into existence because every pulse of energy(+ or -) has a signature of ownership. If the ijaws have a negative attitude toward igbos then Ndigbo are experiencing a reflection. huh?

Apart from M.T Mbu, I don't see any other prominent former Eastern Nigerian politician talking about unity, most of them from the so-called minority tribes are busy nursing one type personal grudge against igbos or another. I remember Ejoor saying how Igbos denied him a job, Adaka Boro also had his own personal grouse against an Igbo man that ultimately colored his perception of Igbo people in general. Personal animosity should never dictate a people's national policy, except for the Ijaw nation.
Fisrt off, the term minority tribe is derogatory. Less is actually more. huh? First shall be last and the last, first. huh?

Secondly, if other ethnic groups in the SS and SE have a problem(both real and imagined) with Ndigbo as you claim then Ndigbo have a serious problem on their hand. Ndigbo need to be self-critical and that is the highest form of maturity. huh? To be a leader you have to serve with humility and intergrity. If Ndigbo(the largest demographically) cannot get it together then don't expect our neighbours to do so. The leader should give in and lead by example. huh?

Thirdly, The Igbo and Ijaw elite are behind all this feud because it's to their benefit that "nigeria" survives. The day the Ijaw and Igbos work together in earnest, mend and massob merge and social intergration builds, the dissolution of the nigerian government will commence. So the grassroots has to call the elite to order so that the masses can, for the first time, see what truely is
.

For your information, Igbos don't take any tribe for granted, but they are highly competive in nature: Owerri vs. Onitsha, Nsukka vs Abakaliki, Okigwevs Orlu, Aba vs Calabar, etc. It was not because they hated Ijaws or took them for granted embarassed
Both parties take each other for granted because they rather slave under a british construct that is overseen by islamized and arabized Afurakans whom, themselves, are dissimilar in many respects instead of building together as family. Igbos are too busy chasing money, developing and acquiring property all over nigeria execpt their home base and surrounding. Ofcourse the internal dynamics of the igbo nation is in disarray as is evident in their inability to consolidate with other SS and SE groups towards a confederacy. What must be done must be done. huh?

Onye nwere nti nya nuru. huh?
PoliticsRe: You’re Racist, Lebanese Accuse Nigerian Immigration. by fayahsoul: 4:14pm On May 19, 2009
Arab islamic imperialism was responsible for the transaharan slave trade that began around 7ad and still ongoing. The weakening and eventual collaspe of the late west african empires due to imposed islamic hegemony constrained the capacity to put up a strong resistance against the european trans-atlantic slave trade. Jews, mediterraneans(i.e lebanese), Arabs, islamized and arabized afurakans, all captured Afurakan indigenes for enslavement. huh?

Kemet/tamare/egypt was/is a black land in north Afuraka but the land is currently in usurpation by Arab imperialism(since 640AD), and they also claim that it's a middle-eastern country. huh?

During colonial dayz, who owned the wholesale and retailsale distribution newtwork from Afurakan enclaves to european enclaves? The asians(i.e lebanese from southwest asia). huh?

Overstand that history repeats itself when lessons are not learnt and used to make changes to the established order.  Prior to serving as the middle link in the trade of goods and services during colonial times, the asains(lebanese) were the middle link in the trade of humans which was the business in vogue back then. The slave trade was not a randomized transaction as some may believe. Specific groups were targeted by 'Jews, mediterraneans(i.e lebanese), Arabs, islamized and arabized afurakans'who were inturn funded by the church. Don't you know that the church founded islam? huh?

The lebanese accusing the nigerian of racism is an old trick in the oppressors book called "blame the victim." huh?

See them. . . enemies of progress.

Ana ako na elu, unu ana ako na ani.

What do u mean by ijaws and igbos can't unite? You people are working as instruments of subversion and confusion. It is the privileged in society like you guyz who poison the minds of the masses.

I rebuke thee!

Ijaws and Ndigbo can unite economically and militarily as a confederacy(the bight of biafra confederacy), but not culturally; because that is not relevant to human development nor is it desirable. Besides there's inexhaustible strenght in diversity.

We are family, with similar culture and shared history therefore we have, and need, to be there for one another. It's in your scriptures: Be your brothers keeper. But this is not just a moral issue, solidarity and cooperation is also the most logical approach to development. The Igbos have to overstand that it is in their best interest to consolidate with the ijaws and vice versa.

Igbos be more compassionate with the ijaws and stop taking them for granted and seeing them as expendable. The ijaws are a mighty people. It is overstandable that the ijaws feel insecure about confiding in the Igbos who are larger demographically and have this force of character that's annoying at times. Nonetheless, my brothers(Ijaws) you have to put your igbo brothers to test by summoning up the courage to work with them on a whole new paradigm that will benefit both parties simultaneously and exponentially.

Ndigbo give the ijaws a second chance. Every entity deserves one.

By consent or by conquest, a self-actualizing and determined Biafran confederacy will definitely rise through a symmetric collaborative relationship between the SS and SE .

We can and we will make it work

Nairaland GeneralRe: Women, What Is Your Priority? University Degrees Or Ur Dignity As A Woman by fayahsoul: 3:58pm On May 18, 2009
JJYOU:
there is dignity in labour.
I knew someone would come back with that one.

Yes there's dignity in labour; however, the set  of rules(whether internalized or imposed) and established avenues through which an individuals' labour input can be used to acquire stuff determines if the work is dignified or not.

Example: Prostitution is also labour but just because it is labour does not mean that it's dignified.

Example: If someone cannot own their labour by having the power to determine(with full discretion) where, when and how much energy to expend  and  also be the sole beneficiary of the rewards from energy input, then that labour is not dignified since the worker lacks autonomy. Any form of labour that is done under externally imposed set of rules and proceedures that determines, among things, when your labour is needed, how it must applied and how much it's worth, is not dignified. Ever wonder why christ, buddah, krishna and other moral authorities did not have bosses?

So There is an intervening variable between labour and dignity.

Don't just focus on the action of labour on its own; consider also the underlying social structure in which it is embedded

To avoid misoverstandings that stem from semantics when we speak in a false tongue(english), it is important to frame a question as clearly as possible.

Dignity has a political and ethical dimension. The former deals with the human rights of underdogs and therefore sees dignity as determined by societal norms while the latter deals with virtues(self-respect, autonomy, self-esteem etc) which are an attribbute of the individual.

From an ethical dimension, dignity is independent of the level of formal education attained. In fact, it's undignified 4 an afurakan to take pride in attending these eurocentric schools that turn-out grads who are conformists and slavishly cooperative with western agenda. Where are the intellectual revolutionaries? Besides, we had a concept of dignity in pre-modern times.

As for self-hating chicken heads who put a price on the temple of God(their body), what I will say for now is that the means justifies the means. Note also that prostitution comes in other forms like working for crumbs or having a boss. A slave, whether well paid or underpaid, is still a slave and one is a slave if one lacks autonomy.

I rather be a lion in the jungle than a dog in the city!

Who ever said that, is a basket case. Definitely an agent of the propaganda machines of western governments.

Truth goes more like this: That land mass bounded by the territorial borders of the corporate entity called nigeria is not lacking in rich fertile arable lands. It lacks not cultural, natural, human, intellectual, spiritual, historical or material resources.

The only thing it lacks is sovereignty.

Sadly, the presence (or absence) of this one virtue in a given society determines whether human development  (or human underdevelopment) will be eventually entertained by the society in question.

There's always a choice

nigeria isnt the only diverse country on the globe

and back to base, what is wrong with 200 tribe in naija that

there must be some common ground, but will the hausa for eg agree to that
This brother with username 'Ifele' has already answered your question. Study his post below:
You see the problem with black folks in Nigeria is that they believe that a special Messiah will do everything for them.

The Special Messiah will save us from corrupt leaders and oppressors without our lifting a finger.

Another problem is fear. Nigerian are psychologically indoctrinated by schools and society to fear violence and not to take risks that will lead to violent reactions from other players. This indoctrination is usually sublime but started at a young age so that it is well ingrained in the behaviour.

Example: Repeating the national anthem every morning in school and attaching a prayer to God in it. You Nigerians are very religious and the anthem itself indoctrinates the student making them beleive that Nigerian leaders are servants of God and that they are God's reps on earth. The truth is that they are the agents of misery and hopelessness of the society.

Nationalism and religious fervor mix very well. In the end the students will grow up disillusioned and find their own paths. Some wont even believe that God is good when they have been praying to God to guide the leaders right when the leaders have been doing wrong and sucking their blood. They will even confess that God is bad. I have heard this first hand.

So beware to propaganda and indoctrination. Protect your childrens minds.
In addition, nigeria was/is a forced contraption that was set up to fail right from start. A failed state is a necessary precondition for the indefinite sustenance of a british contrived economy of extraction. A foreign contrivance that's promoted and protected by a local cabal with members from all persuasions and ethnicities but one interest: material aggrandizement by any means necessary.

Lastly, Black afurakans are the original beings, the first borns of Chukwu, the God elects with royal crowns(woolly hair). We must not compare ourselves, or allow others compare us, to other races of mutanoids. We have a unique enigmatic history and an unparalleled formidable internal /external obstacle to progress
.
PoliticsRe: Nigerians Are Born Cowards! by fayahsoul: 11:05pm On May 13, 2009
Are nigerians cowards?

The answer lies in the very framing of the question itself.

The predicate(cowards) is contained in the subject(nigerians). That is, the only reason nigeria exists is because nigerians are cowards. To identify oneself as a nigerian is an explicit display of cowardice. How was nigeria formed? by whom? for whom? for what purpose? who is a nigerian and what does it mean to be a nigerian?

Nigeria is a foreign self-seeking entity that has occupied the sovereign space of the indigenes without their mass consent. So if an indigene, of normal mind and body, is fully aware of the activities and historical founding of this criminal corporation but yet chooses to identify and participate in the game out of fear for change or the brutal repression of oppositon, then that is plain cowardice.

And contrary to what some may think, being complacent to the inadequacies of a supposed "government" that kicks the asses of the masses from sun up to sun up and keeping a smile on the face amidst of it all is not bravery but cowardice. Due to cowardice, the ordinary complacent anti-revolutionary nigerian dies a thousand deaths in one life time yet loses their life but the revolutionary confronts his prime adversaries with deadly accuracy and if comrades die in battle, they die only once yet preserve thier life.(luke 17:33)

Remember, courage is not the absence of fear rather it's the will to act in the presence of fear. A bloodless revolution is a conceptual fallacy and cowards aren't prepared to bleed for change; they only fuss for all the wrong reasons.

You guyz don't get it. Nigeria cannot be reformed!

It was founded on corruption, it's sustained by corruption and will remain corrupt until it's completely dismantled and a grassroots alternative put in place.

So you either join the movement towards confederacy or you just shut the F**k up and be a bloody nigerian that you choose to be. QED!

Wonders Shall never End!.
This same people treat Nigerians(skilled and largely unskilled) working for them like animals making them work like  slave with peanuts to show for it as salaries and little or no health cover.
Good Riddance To Bad Rubbish.
Nice one.

These lebanese maggots (in collusion with whites/arabs) have been destroying the black Afurakan community since colonial times. They served as middlemen during slavery and colonialism; brokering power, information and resources between european and afurakan clusters all to their self-seeking benefit. The modern version of this exploitation persist today.

The hospitality of the black Afurakan has proven to be a maladaptive trait and while you Afurakans stay kind and forgiving towards your enemies, let me remind you that your Jesus said: Forgive 70 x 7 times(matthew 18:21). Well by now you should know that most groups have sinned against the afurakan more than 70 x 7 times.

Don't demand justice, serve justice. Afuraka for Afurakans. QED

The only problem is that with Okadas everywhere, they would probably push cyclists out of the way. So in Lagos, no. But in a quieter town like Abuja or Jos, definitely!
Nice one.

I just want to add that we need to look at it on a more broader context such as how our means to a livelihood could be restructured to make cycling more practicle. This ofcourse requires a strong will to be self-determined. We need to really rethink the way we live and the institutions we are bonded to. Babylon has fallen. Now look at you. . . you're shook.
