Now in the US, there's RN first assist, who works in the surgical room doing minor procedures and helping the surgeon. She/he has more legal right than An NP or surgical PA. It doesn't make them surgeons.

Nurses performing Surgery hasn't been signed to Law. It is called Proposal. You saw in the posts "Nurses to Perform Surgery" not "Nurses do Perform Surgery independently". Once it is signed into Law they would be a Resident Surgeon who would monitor the surgery cases as to decide which case is fit for a Nurse Surgeon to perform.
Remember we're talking Pathology and Laboratory Science don't digress.
