I'm even in Uyo right now, but had no idea there's an interview venue in Uyo (Eket actually) which I could ask for.
I just found out when I saw your message yesterday.

Anyways, we'll meet at Lagos God willing. Have a safe trip when you travel.

By the way, what are we to expect at the interview? No useful info on this thread at all and I spent the whole of last night going through it all.

Also, someone said here that the only locations are Lagos and Uyo.

I already selected a time slot but will like to change location. I am in Abuja for work and realised I could actually have sent an email to try and change the location to Abuja (since tests held in Abuja) instead of gong all the way to Lagos for the interview.

However, I already selected a time slot for Lagos and I can't go back to that page to view the email.

Just checked FSB website now and they already gave out a site for those that chose Turkey for BEA scholarships to fill in info. Lo and behold, the deadline was yesterday and no one mentioned it here.

The deadline is now Saturday, 24th Feb 2019.

When you login to the Hungaricum page, clock on your name profile at the top right corner, you'll see a drop down. Click on data protection, you'll see all the terms and conditions you have accepted and I believe it includes that application statement. God bless you.

Yes, I saw it after clicking submit. The statement of application is just a terms and condition which you are to accept so they your application will be considered.

I didn't see it from my end. I asked about three people and they said they didn't see it either. I hope this does not disqualify us at the technical evaluation stage.

This looks like the work of multilevel marketing guys (GNLD and co.). Make sure you verify before going, so you don't end up wasting your time. Google the company, ask questions about them.

It was specified that the interview will last for an hour (1hr). From what I know about Sahara Group, they keep to time.

I feel 1hr will be too short for anything that will involve installing a software. First off, the minimum requirement(s) for the the laptops we're to bring was not specified. Secondly, I don't know about your laptop but mine will take nothing lass than 1hr for installation of MATLAB. AutoCAD, or SOLIDWORKS.

I suggest we give it a thought from this perspective:

Laptop +
Flash drive +
4 copies of 1-page resume +
1 hour +
Sahara Group's recruitment process history.

Let's see if we can figure something out.

I wish i could be of help, but i really don't have materials (just an attempt to answer all Pm's sent to me)

Firstly you might want to follow all related thread to gather more experience.


The recruitment started a few years ago so you shouldn't expect much online. The questions are not the regular aptitude test questions you find online, except for the verbal part and i doubt if you can get them so easily, except of course if someone took a screen shot during the exam which is almost impossible too

MOCKCAT sets the questions, their question pattern is similar to those found on indiabix.com . Spend time to study all topics on the syllabus sent to you(at least attempt few questions from the text books and those found on indiabix )

Pray to your God, be mindful of time, and note it is a negative marking system.

Ps: everything up there might be different for this recruitment.

Yes, someone that successfully submitted two days ago helped me to try but got the same response.

Lemme just give few hints as concerning the interview

1) Dress Smart and Well
2) Speak Well
3) Compose yourself very well
4) Pray Well

But the dressing part they take very very seriously, they don't joke with it. They will ask you to write an essay, write grammatical terms concerning the topic, if you have written IELTS u will know what I am saying, they just want to test your analytical skills. Read about the oil and gas industry generally!

Lastly, if you don't have a profile on LinkedIn go and create one , if you already have, go and review what you wrote there because they will check it. If your profile pic is not clear and presentable, change it. Nestoil is top notch, so make sure everything you are doing is top notch and excellent. All the best! Please don't ask me funny questions because this is the best I can do for anyone preparing for the interview. All the best!
