What you guys don't know is that the so called customs of fedex is still FedEx in disguise. They are located within fedex facility and most probably influenced by them probably cos they have their cut.

If you are in doubt you can go to custom for confirmation and if you feel you have been over billed by custom you can contest the rate that is if you have all the evidence.
FedEx does not have any control over custom duty
