Your doctor does not want any stories at all. If I were you, I won't even think of a VB. I will opt for CS. The reasons: Age and the no of years of TTC.

My anties dat had babies at about your age didn't even think twice. We all supported dem for the CS.

Pick your date and go for it. No need to even wait till EDD, once baby is full term (37wks), be ready to embrace your baby.

Lemme share my own experience; Infact this night own sef...lol

I think it's easier to wean girls than boys! Just like Graciouscahris said, my mum took my son away for the weekend so he could stop breastfeeding; he cooperated with them but the moment he saw me! The tears and request came back, I couldn't help it, we had to continue.

I got pregnant when he ws 9 months so I tot once he starts eating everytin, he will give up! No way o! At last doc appointment, I ws told to try wean him while I prepare for new baby. So this night, I said no breast feeding. He has drank 3 bottles of pediasure! He still kept pullin my boobies and started cry o! Granma hs cum twice to ask wats wrong wit him, I finally told her and she said instant approach is not the solution. That I shld withdraw gradually else I won't catch any sleep. Do you know once I gave him, funny Enuf he took very small and has been playing and smiling since.

I ws cumin to share my concern here when I saw it's the issue on ground already..lol.

My advise:

1. Do it gradually. Replace daytime with tea or other beverages

2. Supplement night time with beverage too.

I will come back to share the end otherwise na tandem feeding we go do

I have learnt so much for instance, that it's possible I may not be given anesthetics after episiotomy... I also learnt that u could go thru labour for hours and end up having a CS. So just keep ur money down in case. Captain Feddy...27 my mind is telling me that u will port to September

Thanks mama. I don't understand why these poor babies have to go through so much pain. I breastfed him immediately after the procedure and he slept off. When he woke, he cried like it was going out of fashion. I felt so helpless, I just kept putting him to breast. Then I gave him baby paracetamol and slathered the peepee with vaseline...eventually the crying tired him out and he slept off

They just don't want to come with terms that things can be done perfectly without pain!

My son was circumcised 18hrs after birth; dey brought him back afta 1hr. No crying, no pain. It was done in the theatre like a normal surgical procedure.

I pray our system comes to term with modern healthcare practises

Nobody cares about how it hurts! Nothing like pain management!!! Even small babies are not spared in the name of circumcision!

Postpartum pain is real!!! That's why everythin shld be done to reduce pain during labor and delivery.

Even circumcision can be done without stressing the lil babies!!! O God! Save our country from this orientation!

I'm beginning to think the nurses are responsible for all these crude practises! Biko where are the doctor's? Are they not supposed to be the ones performing these procedures?

Honestly, my heart is heavy concerning all these avoidable extreme pains!

Ur Dr is right, cos induction is supposed to be a second option. In a situation where one just opts for the 2nd option & it fails, the next step is 3rd option which is CS. so i quite agree with him. i also thought about this last night.

God is in charge anyway. His will, not ours!
Besides, labour might even come on its own even before that 39th week.

Did he recommend this particular supp or u just went for the gummies urself. Anytime i pass gummies on the shelf, i just turn my eyes to the other side (yuuk!). Dont know why i just dont like them, but they're great for people who hate swallowing drugs.

He didn't prescribe dis particular one, jst said I shld gt any1 I'm comfortable with. I recently bought one 'gummy bear' multivite for my son and he so loves it so wen I saw gummies prenatal, I decided to give myself a 'treat' too...lol

My people, my people!
So today I had my doctor's appointment and it was quiet comprehensive. Had GBS test done and oda routine things. My labs done last week was out and he said I was slightly anemic ; reason being that for a long time I just stopped taking my prenatals *covering face* swallowing dat stuff was a big deal for me so I ditched it and felt eating will replace it. Well, I was told to resume taking it and wen I got to the pharmacy, I found this prenatal gummies OMG! The excitement on my face knew no bounds!

I'm sure dis will be the solution to all those dat av difficulty swallowing and terrible MS.

Secondly, this my new doc does not buy into my elective induction like I did for my son So I have to wait for labor and time contractions I totally feel like someone dat has not given birth b4 cos the first was a walk in the park . Well, wateva signs I start feelin, I will bring it here to my able support group

The blessing should be a thousand times over o..lol. Imagine wen dey asked wat my pain threshold was on a scale of 1-10, I said zero ... dey just gave up on me...lol

I ws busy pinging hubby and saying I'm at 8cm bla bla bla... the guy jst shook his head and said pple in labor in naija don't talk like I do..lol. Wen I told him 10cm and time to push, i'll be rite bk with baby pic, he didn't believe his eyes wen he saw pics

by God's grace I didn't have backache. It's not like everyone must have backache or headache

I think those aches are as a result of poor posture post partum like alphahandmaiden pointed out. Pple den attribute it to the epidural since it's mostly backache they have.
