chiefkpokp: Greetings sir, I didn't want to comment though, the bolded made me to, if you use international passport to verify alipay, were r u going to get the bank card to bind d alipay, do not misled people sir, without a China's bank card, nothing on Earth will make ur alipay be a 100% verified account. Except u want to use a Chinese person bank card for it, but mind you, this will not be 100% secure, also if it's was so easy to use a naija intl passport without a china bank card, i think every body would have dived into Chinese market. Think about it. Even if you have alipay account, you must still patronize a procurement agent or exchanger to credit your alipay for you.
Another is this, any company that will have problem will have problem, wether they have 1million customers or not, everybody want patronage, those that are buying to sell want more customers to patronize them, airlines want more customers to patronize them, shippers want more customers to patronize them...... If everybody was greedy to help people with vital informations, even I don't think I would be were I am today....... The then Nairaland I no, we don't believe in private chating to get assistance . If you have anything to share, share it openely, over the years this is why people come to Nairaland to gain useful information.thanks you.
Trade Safe. Listen to God with a broken heart. He is not only the doctor who mends it, but also the father who wipes away the tears. OMS MALL & GLOBAL SERVICES The fact that he sounded inexperienced with the AliPay thing made me even more suspicious. Saying that it's easy to open AliPay with only int passport is funny. It's either you're in China or have a close friend in China. Otherwise nothing! |

Noliza: How is his reply different from the one you once gave me when I humbly contacted you on whatsapp asking for help with delivery agents you can recommend for me? It was very childish of you to have come up to boast on the thread that you had delivery agents who are efficient and reliable, but when asked to help with them, you bluntly told me "I can't". Why then did you bring it up in the first place? I felt that you were a bit enlightened from the way you write but was terribly disappointed by your lack of tact and decorum. Now you are pissed with someone else when you are guilty of same. Na wao. Mr man I NEVER asked anyone to contact me privately for delivery agents so I see no reason why you should. Or did I? I share whatever I want to share in public for every one to read and learn just as the OP is doing. Our business contact was only posted here for business. Even when you messaged you must have been told by WhatsApp that it's a business account. So I see no reason why you would chat up a business, asking for tutoring. It's just like messaging GTBank on WhatsApp and start asking them to teach you how to make money. Does that make any sense? |

alphabbey1: Thank you Detective felibrain. With this comment of yours, I'll be ignoring anyone in my inbox now...
This my further comment is just to educate you: Believe it or not, unless u're inexperienced about mini importation, the more the customer for a shipping company, the more problem emanates. They always pray for customers but when goods becomes too much, they just lose there balance. That's when u'll be hearing " dear customer, due to much orders or something else, our prices have increased or delivery period have now been extended to so so so days" Some won't even send any message, u'll just realise your goods are taking too long to deliver... I have my experience, so does others.. Well I will take this your comment as subject of ingnorance.. Funny enough, if you had come to WhatsApp to ask me about the agent, I'll gladly give you the full details as I gave others smarter than you. My previous comments simply says "come to whatsapp, ask, and I might give".. Others on nairaland using same company all these years kept mute but am the selfish one right for announcing and not posting it here... You see how we create problems for ourselves in this country, I saw people complaining about logistics problem, I offered to help with no charges as someone with verified Alipay account but the "no charges" makes you develop the mentality that if it's free, it's probably fake...... Even those that saw my message yesterday contacted me to teach them about the rudiments of mini importation including how to chat and bergain with sellers on 1688 which I did without collecting any fee that most people will probably request for.
I was even ready to teach anyone that ask me on how to pay sellers by themselves so far they have international passport which is now a criteria for Alipay. If you know how easy it is to pay Chinese sellers, u'll realise the procurement fee all shipping companies collect is too ridiculous. If you study my profile, u'll realise am a Uite and in my final year now. All these comments of me trying to help came up during this short holiday.... As UI resumes next week, I might not have the time to help or teach anyone again..
With the knowledge and experience I have, I could have easily announce myself as a shipping and procurement agent like how others are springing up day by day now. I know that would have bypass whatever scamming thoughts u were thinking towards my comment since it's not gonna be a free service.... I was referring to your first comment where you were asking people to contact you so you could help them PAY the shipping company you use, NOT paying suppliers. If you had said you would give them details to deal directly, I won't have questioned it. Anyway, you can do as you wish but I would hate to read someone getting scammed on a thread with good intentions. Thank you. |

alphabbey1: I do give the details to people that contact me on WhatsApp and sometimes, I do not. It's wise not to post the details to social media... Because when most shipping companies have many customers, they tend to have higher chances of sorting problem. That's when they have too much goods to ship that they lost some in the process or extend there delivery days... You might even know the company. There location is in Ajao Estate. If you use a shipping company based at that location and there 7 days is 7 days with no complain, then u'll know it's the said company... But be aware that, have searched and searched, have never seen anyone mentioned there name or details on any website... Sorry but this is a very selfish statement. So you think the company you use shouldn't have much customers or they don't do marketing and pray for customers? Very selfish. You want people to send you their money so you can help them pay the company you use instead of giving them details to deal directly. THAT SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM. Forget the video call and plastic ID card thing you're talking. |

Manhenro: Tugrow is a big time scam, there service is the worse that I have ever used. They are very slow, my first and only order with them took 27 days to arrive here. When it did some of the items were not as specified, I don't really if they got it from somewhere else or not, because the shop that I placed the order said the only had a single colour so I demand for the colour but when it arrived I got two different colours. When I went through my items one of the items was missing, do I notified them about it but they initially said that they got everything but I insisted that one of my items was missing and they went through the order and said that the seller closed the order. So we had to place the order in another shop, the cost of the item that was missing was less than #1.5k, when it arrived after after about 2 weeks, they sent me a message to pay #2k+ and another #1k for waybill on an item that is weigh less than 0.5Kg and if it has arrived with the others I won't have spent a dime on it. That I should pay #3k+ for shipping and waybill for an item of less than #1.5k, who does that? The waybill that they did for me, they charged me #3.5K while they paid 2k to the transportation company. And I noticed that they inflate the weight of the items. Keep scamming people, nemesis will catch up with you soon. This is pure scam unless @Tugrow is able to defend himself. They misplaced the item and they should be reasonable enough to apologise and send you either the item or the money for the item at NO EXTRA COST. |

clems88: nice store. How can u integrate with aliexpress plugin . and how much will it cost to create the store Hi, thanks for the compliments. If you are talking about Aliexpress integration it means that you want to take a step further into dropping. We can: 1. Integrate with Aliexpress so you can automatically import aliexpress products into your store and sell directly to your customers at your own price. You don't need to buy this products and ship to Nigeria. We will make it in a way that the product will show on your site as your own product with your own price tag on it. But when a customer orders the product, the Aliexpress supplier will ship the product directly to the customer while you keep your product. 2. Aside aliexpress we can also add same functionality for Ebay, Amazon, etc. We have clients who use this to sell electronics at wholesale prices to retailers. Most products on Konga and Jumia are not really present in Nigeria but you will see them and be like "they must be spending millions to import these things into Nigeria in large quantities." You should make sure that you understand dropshipping before opting for this. Please WhatsApp (0809)4301125 to discuss more. |

emperorblog21: critisim is allowed bro. lemme know what u observe Nothing really so bad about the page. Just that it looks very basic and white like something designed by a new HTML student. Again, what's the "view content" at the top for? The time there is totally unnecessary as it does not even count down on mobile, just static and boring. The Canvas menu button makes a mess of your work as it doesn't trigger properly on mobile because you failed to use some Javascript commands there. I suggest you remove it. What's the phone number for? People won't copy that. You said CLICK HERE TO ORDER and then you lead them to another page with a phone number to WhatsApp? No one has time for all that stress. You should have an order form right there on the first page. And if you want them to WhatsApp then the CLICK HERE TO ORDER must be a hyperlink that triggers the WhatsApp app on their phone. So when people click on the link it should just open WhatsApp. People don't have time to copy phone numbers, save to their phone and start searching WhatsApp. Make it easy for them. Also, if you are going to add a phone number for calls, be sure to add a "tel" attribute to the number, so that tapping on the number will immediately trigger a phone call. |

bigbauer: Have you seen what your sweet landing page looks like on mobile ? That's one mistake many people make. Your PC can make you feel you've done a great job but your phone will always tell if you are still a learner or a pro. The sad truth being that 80% of people who will visit the page or website will do so on their phone. And if they don't find your site to be user friendly they will quickly close it. |

.com.ng #6500 I'm sorry but this is not entirely true. To host your website you need to -Buy a domain name like www.mysite.com (around 3400) -Buy a hosting plan (starters can use a basic plan of 3000-3500). Try to avoid .com.ng domains even though they go for a cheaper rate of 1700 per year. |

Ahijo1990: Pls forgive me if my question sounds silly or has been answered before....
I'm based in Umuahia, so now my question is:
1. Will my Facebook ad be or set to be automatically restricted to areas around Umuahia such as Enugu, Aba, Owerri, Awka etc?
2. Seeing as I'm going to start small as an amateur seller without use of a courier company, does it mean my only means of dispatching to customers is via local inter-state/city transportation companies? Let me clarify that Facebook will not do anything automatically. When creating your ads you will have to specify the location of people that you want to see your ads. Facebook gives you the flexibility to choose who you want to see your ads because they will normally charge you for each click on your ad (we call it pay per click). This is where many newbies waste a lot of money and get zero results. If for example you know you cannot deliver your goods to people in Maiduguri or anywhere outside of Umuahia, DON'T go and specify NIGERIA as the location of people who should see the ads. Please narrow it down to Umuahia specifically. Otherwise EVERYONE in Nigeria will see the ads, click on it and WASTE you ad credit (money) since you can't deliver to their location. Do you understand To your second question, the answer is yes, you will rely on interstate or city transport. BONUS TIP FOR ALL. I don't use courier services and I don't deliver myself, YET I deliver nation wide. I know this sounds strange. OK this is it. In major states like Lagos, Rivers, Kaduna, Abuja, Enugu, etc. I have what we call self delivery agents. When my goods arrive, I split and send to these states then, run ads and go to sleep. Once people visits my eCommerce website and place an order, the form has a field for STATE. Once they pick a state the website will automatically know which of my self delivery agent to forward the order to based on the state. HOW TO GET TRUSTED SELF DELIVERY AGENTS? The sweetness of this business is to join relevant online community of like minds and see who they are using and who people trust. Don't just send your stuff to anyone o. Join groups. I pay them monthly, nothing compared to what I will pay a courier service. PLEASE, this is a professional selling method and I recommend it for those who have mastered the business. If it doesn't apply to you now, just save the idea for future because I expect you all to be great in this business. So I had to write it now as I may not have the time to discuss it later on. Bottom line is. Beginners should stick with places they can deliver to THEMSELVES. |

1stbest: building a new E store will cost like how much, will it have monthly payments /subscription ? Hi, I'm going to be honest with you. The cost depends on the features and functionality on the store. I know many will flood your inbox telling you it's 10k or 15k. While that is possible, what they will give you is something very basic. They will just install WordPress for free, download a free theme and install woo commerce for free. In the end you will have something very basic and boring. I will prefer to have a detailed WhatsApp chat with you so I can effectively guide you on the variations. Once we establish what you actually want I can give you a fair cost estimate. Chat me up here (080) 94301125. Let me equally mention that there's nothing like monthly subscription fee. You only buy a domain name for your business (around 3k) and pay for web hosting (even a plan of 3500/year will do for a start). |
Business › Re: How To Ship Goods From 1688 To Nigeria, sell Online Without Physically Seeing It by felibrain: 6:36pm On Sep 24, 2019 |
Let me clarify something. For those of you wondering how courier service will automatically receive customer orders, there's actually nothing technical about it. (OP has done a great job so far but I'm not sure why he didn't want to elaborate on this and I sincerely hope I won't be spoiling business in case of those who want his "premium content." . Now this is it. When you visit my website at www.felibrain.com and click on the contact menu, you will be presented with an online form right? If you feel that form I will get an email. This is same thing that happens on the sales page OP shared. What you see on his page is a mere contact form that sends whatever details you enter to an email address or a list of email addresses (and obviously, an email list). If you are using WordPress to build the page you can install contact form 7 and build your form. In fact you don't need WordPress. You can use free online email contact form builders like foxyform, 123contactform, etc. So basically, you're going to ask your preferred courier company to give you their email address. When building the form (it's usually a WYSIWYG stuff, no coding), you will just input their email as one of the emails that should receive whatever content people enter into the form and that's it. If people fill out the form, all email addresses you listed will get a copy of it. |
