izzou:If you stay indoors, you'll die, If you go out, you'll die also Lets just go out then, after all we all shall one day die. |
If you have anyone that needs the services of a uber driver at thia time please holla at me, me I've lift my own lockdown by myself. No time abeg. |
northbird:No4. That's u sensitization needs to be carried out. Nobody like die. No7. At some point during Gov. Fashola time buses carry 3 passengers in a row. See if the givernment is serious to enforce the law they'll but unseriousness, corruption and padi padi wont allow them to do the right thing. Abegii make we leave all these talk, people are already going out, even the security peraonels are tired. Everybody is tired but if they say they're not lifting the lockdown no problem, just in case anyone has somebody that wants to go out or travel outta state and need a driver to take you there, anywhere please give me a call I'm available 24/7. |
Right from the onset I said it that the lockdown won't remedy anything about the virus it will only make matter worse even. Lift the lockdown and let the citizen observe these roles. 1.Carry out massive sensitization on how to prevent the spread of the virus 2. No shaking of hands 3. No huging of strangers, colleague or friends. Only partners are allowed to hug provided they're healthy and without the virus. 4. Everybody should make use of facemask which will help stop saliva while speaking in public. 5. No spitting Or blowing of the noise on the road Or in public places unless into a gutter. 6. No dancing in parties, clubs and religious gathering to help hinder sweating. 7. Buses should not carry standing and 3 persons in a row on 14seater buses. 8. Financial institutions should make sanitizers available for every customers making use of its ATM, same should apply to every organisation. 9. Report or call the authorities if you have or suspect anyone having systoms of covid 19. 10. Obey all the comandments, and see how the virus die a natural death. |
Ramadan Kareem to all the muslem brothers and sisters here. Let's use this period to pray to Allah to cleanse our land from this plague to befalls the world. Ramadan Kareem once more. |

sexylassie2:Like you know farming is capital intensive plus I see a need to expand now holding to the great famine ahead of us globally, I believe you read the WHO on famine next year. So without farmers the human races will disappear within the twinkling of an eye. If you have the information I seek or even the money what's stopping you? C"mon go ahead and lets talk business as this is 100% guaranteed, secured and with high yield than any ither investment you can think about. |
Iskeelm:Ha! You're available to resume immediately? Ok let me talk with my oga madam lets see if you can have my car for the time being since it has been lying there for over a month now without remittance. But can you do 30k/week? because N5k there belong to me while my oga madam collexts his normal 25. But all maintenance and repairs will be in you. Hit me up if you agree ![]() |
izzou:izzuo izzou the busines man I like the way you just take advantage to advertise and propagate your business. Abeg oga mi, sha me too can ask you? I need just N1million to invest in casava farm against next year because I see history of about 6yrs ago repeating itself when an acre of cassava farm was sold for almost 300k as against the normal 100k. Any body willing to invest will decide his ROI after 14months guaranteed. My oga help your boy ooh. Even if na agro loan I need info on when to get it asap. |
ofime123:Exactly my point, dont be discourage my man, what worked for A may and may not work for B. Gibe your luck a try I'm solidly behind you with my good wishes. |
Haha... C diacouragoument from every angle. Guy abeg dont mind them jor if you have passion for hustle go into it at least you'll have another person to add up to the bad experience. ![]() ![]() |
Bigleaf1006:Even the guys that said they want to give out brand new ride we never heard from them again. Haha...9ja don cast. In the other news. NB support with N600million for covid19, why these guys no kukuma give us free bear na. Lol... Who knows how one can apply or benefit from the covid19 N50billion relief fund CBN is giving out as loan? Inneed this money badly ooh. |
Has anyone looked considered the mini bus for shuttle? Since the ban on motor bikes those who have these buses are seriously catching out big. I have a friend who works in top radio, does uber with his car and alos bought a mini bus registered it in ikeja metropolis. Driver balances him N5k daily. The bus is very affordable now, I think its within N600-N800k now it used to be cheaper though and I believe very soon that price will skyrocket to about N1m or more. I also have a church member that just finish paying for his HP about N1.6m. So incase you're looking for a transporting buzness maybe you should consider mini bus as an option as well. |
GAZZUZZ:Enh... Wu say??!! GAZZUZZ liking Dru23?? Like seriously!!
|
BAZ001:Lol... You bin think say na illiterate dey here b4? |
Lets analyse how this pandemic, global recession and fall in prices of crude oil will affect us as uber drivers because I'm just wondering how things will look like when this recession start. A lot of workers will lose their jobs, companies will fold up, salaries will be slashed and own for several months. I remember the last recession, Portharcourt city was a place to be, can drivers were building houses as if they were oil workers because runs girls who were their major customers where always on the move cashing out from oil and rig workers but when the recession hit the oil sector and even our politicians couldnt afford to pay N5k for cab for runs girls again. Business people where not left out as everybody resorted to the normal N50 taxi. So I see a difficult time coming. I pray God help us to come out alive stronger. |
mrjaydee:Absolutely true. |
izzou:The both cars will never and can never coupe N100k monthly for 24 months stretch not possible at all. Down time due to mechanical faults, change of drivers and driver health. Lockdown is another new factor to be considered in this new era. ![]() |
mrjaydee:This is one thing about Nigeria and nigerians, we take things out of proportion. The white man comes up with an idea believing the sky is its limit only for a Nigerian to come onboard and sky rocket it making the sky the starting point. How interesting. These are some of d reasons most riders don't respect drivers, "after all he's just a uber driver" doesnt deserve any respect, they dont know most dricers are calabardick in disguise. Anyways. Like they say, na condition make crayfish tale bend. If there jobs with good business atmosphere in the country ehailing would have been serving the right purpose it was meant for in Nigeria like overseas. |
dru23:Izzuo I think you have your answer here couple with what carshopper said. So go for a car not too expensive so you can recoup your investment within 18months |
Blackbishop:Oga mi i don't have answers to all of these questions but the truth is if its a Toyota or Honda or maybe nissan brand one wont have such problem even with same condition of usage and maintenance |
Blackbishop:But there's this notion about these brands of car, their engine are prone to knock and dont last like Toyota or Honda When I was in portharcourt there's thia friend of my that uses Kia for hustle, he changed full and half engine twice in the space of 12 months me kon dey reason weather village people dey involve for d matter o ![]() |
@Dru23... Hmmm...that is an episode up there but it fine though. A business person has to stick with what works best for him/her. |
izzou:I still dont think it not viable even with the long time on RIO. Business generally takes time to recoup capital, multinational business take less than 5yrs b4 profit. But with yearly comprehensive insurance I believe its still viable. |
izzou:Changing the tool depends on the owner/partner. Like sexy rightly mentioned, the only people that complains abiut the price are drivers on rental and those on HP reason being that their work hours has to be double to make a living and have a savings, otherwise, the business is a good one. |
@Dru23, a quick question pls... From experience with yiur a mantra and Honda cars which one of these cars is prone to faults and in terms of cost of maintenance which is cheaper? |
sexylassie2:What I think is, cars meant for uber business should mainly have; 1. Availability of spare parts plus parts should be cheap 2. Strong, durable and reliable 3. Fuel efficient 4. Should have second have value incase of sales or accident. Volkswagen Toyota Nissan and Honda; These are cars I believe meet the afar mentioned criteria in the peaking order. The onmy problem with volks is their beat cars are mostly hash back and I dont think uber accepts them. Maybe the bad blood America has with Germany is still active. Any car on uber tends to depreciate faster than those on interstate due to constant plying on bad roads, more trips (intermittent kick and start), long time engine run, et el. Let me stop here... |
OJURONGBE1:Speechless... Thanks for the kind words... But las las you're the boss. Glad your car is in good shape now and good to have you back. |
rationalmind:In addition, continuous well production enhances well production and extend well life. Shutting down a well can also lead to sand encrusment into the wellbore which can also lead to blockage of the perforations. Remedy can be very expensive |
sexylassie2:Very true at the bolded reason Nigeria oil is categories as sweat oil though we dont have the best oil in the world. Sweat oil is know to have very low hydrogen sulphide and carbon oxide content which produces very high quality petrol that help to avoid knocking of engine, depletion of ozone layers and other reasons. Sour oil has high hydrogen sulphur and very expensive to separate from crude oil. This very reason is why lot of country prefer buying oil from Nigeria |
mrjaydee:No test was carried out yesterday. |
radautoworks:Thats true... Just playing around jor don't mind me. Storage tank Daily monitoring for bubble point, flash point, evaporation and the rest of that. Not really cheap to store at all. |
