Education › Re: Change Of Name: Before Or After Graduation? by Felicity0001: 8:49pm On Apr 19, 2020 |
candyguyofficia: Are you male or female? Change of name has no side effect strito senso. If you a male I will advise you change your name before graduation so it reflect on your certificate once and for all, if you female I will advise same although if you female you may still have to change your name later on.
MODIFIED: A copy of the newspaper publication indicating the change of name send a copy to the office of the registrar copy the office of the Dean of student affairs and if there is any other office you may be required to copy such as the Dean of your faculty, copy the offices as well this way there will be ZERO ish in processing your certificate due to any inconsistency as regard name in your O'level certificate. Its best you start a new chapter of your life (with the change of name ) with your certificate bearing such name n this will also be recorded in your NYSC discharge certificate OP this is the best advice you have at your disposal so take ot seriously and act fast. I was in yiur shoes b4 but at that point it was too late for me to recognise that and it has been causing me some serious issus ever since. So get the news paper publication done asap after swearing and affidavit in a highcourt, then follow the process as advised above so that yiur nysc discharge certificate will bear the same name and that will follow with any other higher certificate you may want to have in the future including international passport, national ID that's if you havent gottwn any of these yet. Goodluck boy as you act fast now. |

PS. Has anyone thought deeply about what the world would be like if we ever come out of this pandemic alive? Shii gonn be crazy. Trauma everywhere. Psychologist are gonn cash out madly for sure. Maybe we should ask sexy to do us a free research on that since thats what she claims she does for a living. For days now ive been trying to think deep to know what/how exactly the world will look like after this pandemic but I've not been able to cime up with a good result apart from the fact we are drawing closer to finding a cure for the deadly dieses. Maybe I will have to take more of my marijuana and codeine to help me sink into the spirit realm so that one would know what or what to venture into in the coming months or years because one thing I know for sure is after all of these a new world will be launch.

festacman: The things that I deduced from Bello El-Rufai outbursts on that fateful Sunday and subsequent unnecessarily prolonged grandstanding until this apology are:
- He is morally bankrupt given the ease with which he switched to reckless use of x-rated graphical sexual innuendos about someone's mother.
- He is a spolt brat who lacks sense of respect or deference to parental or moral authorities given the way he brushed aside Oby Ezekwesili's motherly admonition and the long time it took him to apologize long after his mother's regrets and apology.
- He has anger control problems given how he flared up against a stranger like a demon-possessed man.
- He has low level of intolerance given that he insulted POTUS Mr. Trump who is somebody's daddy but wouldn't stand other people's poor opinion about his daddy.
- He is a disgrace to young Nigerians given that inspite of his exposure and high intellectual capacity, his mindset is ethnically jaundiced and strongly prejudiced.
- He lacks political tact and sagacity to grow into a national politician or future statesman, given his lack of political environment awareness and emotional intelligence.
However, nobody is a saint. We all have our moments of madness. To err is human. He should be forgiven. However, he has to, SERIOUSLY, work on his attitude and mindset. All these white man's language called English just to drive home a point? Mr man you've made no sense to even the hungry literate. |

Eizenburg: Kyari dead. S**t is getting more real. Hope this would be a wakeup call. na today? From the moment he tasted positive to the deadly virus I knew he wouldn't make it out alive. Kemi Olunloyo said it but people called her names. All these while they tried hiding it only God Almighty knows. This should send a ripple message across all board to all the cabals and let its resonance go beyond borders even down to their children to do the right thing because death has no respect for anyone, when it comes nothing can be used as a bribe. Its so sad and since we cant talk bad about the dead despite their wrong doings so lets focus on the positive side of life. May his soul rest in perfect peace. Goodbye to you Abba Kyari

sexylassie: 200 years of slavery, this 2020, no more slavery, African Americans have a better living standards than many Africans.
African Americans purchasing power is more than the entire african continent.
There are many african Americans who are doctors, engineers, chemists, musicians, teachers, fashion designers, police officers, generals in the US military, pilots etc, if there was slavery, all these won't have been achieved by African American community.
You can't compare Biafra and the Niger delta agitation with african American problems, they are both different.
One is fighting for independence which is impossible, another is fighting for resource control while the third is fighting against imaginary slavery and racism when they themselves are living a more better lives than us.
Africans especially Nigerians in American love to pretend that they sympathise with the african American community but in reality, they don't, they still call them akatas and abuse them for not using opportunities of being in America but they forgot that there are many African american professionals than the average population of Nigerians in the US.
In every country, there are going to be the poor and the rich, there are rich african Americans, middle class african Americans and poor african Americans, nothing stopping a poor AA from going to school and getting a degree, if millions of AA can move up the ladder, that poor AA can also move up.
The talk about poverty and racism doesn't hold up. Come mallam sexylassie please who are you, before you start taking you more seriously at lease give us a hint of even if not your real identity but at least what you do, a dual citizen, a government worker, business person, government worker, single or married or sth you know because you can't just come up here and talk every time when we don't even know if you're part of us or not. radautoworks: Exactly. I was showing how stupid her claim was. Claiming that 200 years of slavery should have no bearing on current socio-economic status, I applied the same logic to 60 years of the same with Biafra to show how ridiculous that stance is.
According to "anyone can leave the ghetto if they want", then "any biafran can resolve their problem if they want to". abi no be so? Let's even go further. Any Palestinian can get out of Gaza if they want to nau?
As if they choose the ghetto in the first place shior.
On a more polite note to Bigleaf1006, do you see why this argument does not hold water?
Which reminds me, no one was saying anything about racism before her royal knee-jerkness came in. What was being discussed was that blacks were dying at a higher rate in Democratic states lacking funding. Which is still where we ended back SMH. Those saying we cry racism for everything are actually the ones who brought it up In burna boy's voice "this girl wanna change d topic". Make i take my wee wee small first

dru23: During the Ebola pandemic, president Obama at the time set up pandemic team to go straight to Africa assist in fighting the crisis..
When it comes to Global crisis, malaria smallpox, polio etc .. The USA feels obligated to help in their own best interest to avoid the crisis hitting the USA shore ...
From the Ebola experience, Obama set up a global crisis team to help over look any pandemic in the future. Obama set up funds to help this agency .....
When the Trump administration came into power guess what happen? Just like any other structure Obama had in place, Trump disband the pandemic team .. And he stated that he can't be wasting money and paying billion of dollars for people to be do nothing .. And he put his son in law in charge ...mind you the pandemic team had already sent memos warning the president about the crisis, but Trump ignore them .....
So now the crisis hits the American people with no pandemic team to fight it .. So who do you think is at fault now ? Trump is a clown, The American people voted for a clown, and they just have to deal with it .. People need to take actions for what they do... The American people voted for a clown , they should deal with the consequences...... This is a better criticism than just mere personal hatred and racism. I saw a video on fb where Obama was talking/predicting about a pandemic to hit the world 5yrs after him leaving office. Trump I know is a racist and with the figure according to sexylassie I can tell how happy fellow racist like him would be right now only that I like the man for his bluntness, arrogance and doggyness. I just keep having this feeling he's playing the mind game to make the black nations/people to rediscover themselves and see that our leaders are our problem and our slave masters. Any which way shall, one thing I'm sure of is Nigerians will never wise up like are wired to suffering and smiling from time immemorial. |
