davit: I'm still thinking of how money will be deducted for trips that did not happen. Guys let's ask the drivers what scam they performed too. We should be willing to call them out. Possibly a card trip plus saka. Reason I don't encourage putting your card on bolt. As a matter of fact I try as much as i can to discourage people from riding on bolt. Their system is a total mess. I wonder why people use bolt for heaven sake. |

Presently the business is ok but teating the water with 8 car??!!! In the voice of female riders "oga"! It's too much you will get drown in sorry to inform. And the 30k despite all repairs is in you is quite Sir considering its not business as usual. I rent at N25k and my partner is incharge of every thing no matter how little it is. There was a day I used my money to fix something in the car without informing her and the mechanic did she refunded my money back to me. If the car doesn't work effectively in a week due to maintanance and repairs she askes me to pay for days I work effectively. If you see where I dey pray for my partner you go think say I get Corolla virus You need to see where I'm washing this car in and out fear go catch you. I don't take my car to carwash because in the end I noticed i just wasted 1k so I do it myself. What am I saying? I have some persons who have contacted me privately to jump ship and be their driver but I tell me thank you for your "admiralty" , some wants me to get them driver for 30k remittance but I can't emphasis to them on the disadvantages of setting a very high target remittance for drivers, the end result is, a good person will either end up being a bad person or a good car will ends up being bad. I hope I passed a message?? Good luck!!! |

AngryIgboMan: I don't engage in stupidity and I don't support fooolishness.
Unless am being shortsighted, I can't see where this lady in question refused to pay. Infact this is not even a case of robbery yet.
Her only assertion was that she needs to see the fare review and receipt from bolt which nobody is sure whether she has seen or not.
Please lets not start taking this thing too far by bringing everything online at the first instance especially at the early stages. When you are defrauded or think you are about to be defrauded, engage the rider for at least 1-2 days. If no tangible explanation is coming forth or if she is still recalcitrant, then one can bring it and investigations will start.
Infact, its even obvious from her instagram page that this girl is a fashion designer and creative artist. Nobody should bring her company to disrepute please. Because should anybody google her number, it may pop up here that she is a criminal and her page pictures will show up too. From my observation, this is still a clear case of misunderstanding. I may be wrong though.
Why am saying this is I wouldn't want a situation where this thing will become outright childish and stupid. Any slightest thing, we rush to spray their pictures online.
Infact the other girl was harassed both on social media and on phone because IT BECAME CLEAR THAT HER INTENT WAS TO DEFRAUD AND TO STEAL. She insulted drivers that tried to reach across to her. Thats when I personally decided to make her see hell on earth.
N.B (1) For those of you who think this is a female thing, wait till the day a male scammer is brought here with clear evidence. Then you can judge if we are being pro male or pro female. While I may have personal issues with the female gender based on nasty experiences from them on this job, it doesn't remove the fact that crime is crime irrespective of gender.
(2) If any driver should use Saka or try to defraud a rider by adjusting the fares in one way or the other and then try to drag reputable people into his war of atrition, ogun will finally remember you. Am saying this because this may happen soon here. If you try to defraud a rider and then try to use us to harass the person to pay you fraudulently, be rest assured that your tyres will turn to ballons one day when on high speed. You know the implications! Lola... This self I no com dey understand dis guy again I. U sure say u no get two mouth? Or is the lady in question ur fiance? Hmm! |

There was a tactics I used while going after my fraudster years back, it's nearly worked but due to corruption and unprofessionalism in the banking system the dude escaped. Report the case to the police, that same account you transffered money to the police will get a court doxument to place an alert on the account, anytime he tries to make withdrawal from the account the bank will alert securities and he will be arrested. You can be lucky, if he's the type that does bank transactions a lot two weeks is enough to get him arrested. My lawyer will always say, justice can be delayed but can never be denied. |

Nice one. Keep the hard work going bros. Despite that you still need to learn and try as hard as you can to carry every one in the social strata along instead of disenfranchising among classes of people. AngryIgboMan: The ugly fake mechanic of a woman is now calling me a foool. Nobody will see it. If I fire a shot now, people will say "Angryman talks somehow". Ever since I have been sharing my experiences and advices, I have tried as much as I can to avoid this woman that looks like a hybrid chimpanzee.
Madam, you have a reputation to protect. You have a business to protect. Stay focused on your business.
Guys get insulted here. You don't talk about it. But once it concerns a woman, you open your gutter feminist mouth to say shit like;
"I don't like the way women are talked to here"
Maam, I know you were a prostitute in America before you used bini jazz to hook an Oyibo man.
I know all the talks about calling out a useless Olosho pains you a lot because you hawked pusssy back in the day. Most of you so called strong women did nothing but hawk pusssy.
The stories we share here everyday resonates with your dark past. It eats you up like a cankerworm but there is nothing you can do about it.
Before you call a real G like me a fool, better look in the mirror and see your husband standing there. Thats the white American foool you deceived and not me. Your juju on the foool will wash off one day. You are demonic and you know it. You will be exposed one day. Mark my words.
No matter the weblinks you share up and down, no natter how you try to prove you made millions of Naira on Alibaba, your dark past will be dug up soon faster than you think. Auditors will find out one day that you did other things aside Marketing on Alibaba.
Better continue to use your Mechanic work as a Cover for the real devilish, occultic evil you are. Your nyansh will open one day.
Please stay focused on your useless hustle. Do your job while I do mine.
Avoid dirty arguments that does not concern you. Unless you want to go down with me... I will advise you to dey your dey let me dey my dey. If not, be my guest. I will wipe you in pieces.
Because even your husband and children will be involved. Am even aware too that you just gave birth to an ugly looking baboon who is a direct replica of your genetical imbecility.
Before you judge me, call the ugly baboon that called me a foool to order. If you bring ant infested woods into your home, don't get angry when lizards visit.
You have been warned. Iddiot! Come angryman its to.e we call you to order, you can't just keep attacking people with baseless aligation simply because you can't handle a simple criticism. Young man you need to take a chill pile and relax your nerves. A quick advice to everyone on SM, stop having the notion this is a faceless forum, no matter how smart you think you're your identity can be gotten easily like the tap of a finger and people can hunt you down for trying to tanish their reputation. Let's be guilded with the words we say because words spoken or written can never be retrieved. Madam dont take heed to the rubbish he said please, they're all coming from an empty mouth. |

Thekeeper: I recently met a guy who was introduced to me by a trusted friend ,and he said I can get a direct toks bus for HP and he'll get me a driver to be paying me 60k weekly(10k daily) .route will be lekki ajah. Is this amount feasible? Sorry bros I dont know anything about buses and how they operate. If you feel thats where/what you want/like to invest in fine, but b4 you do make sure you carry out a feasibility on the business, ask people already into the business and into HP on buses. Take your time to carry out this study dont rush it bros. I have a business that took me almost 5yrs studying on and its doing great today while I stay focus on my side hustle with a I ehailing, why is it doing well today? Simply because I took out time, had patience to study about it. Even at that i still had set back in my first year because you can never study human beings due to the constant change they prohibit. So since you've a driver, good, take out time to study him yourself, test his IQ, try his knowledge about buses especially the mechanical aspect of it to see if he truly knows the modus operandi of the business and understand him. The reason you need to study can not bs over emphasized. When your confident level is well rooted to about 70% then you proceed to purchase. You can carryout a feasibility study on both uber and the normal bus transport self while having the lifeline to make choices on which is best and that suits you. Sorry this came late. I just stumbled on it. |

Monkeyprick: Can you just imagine what you typed D? I can't believe my eyes reading this. I am so disappointed. Do you know how many riders who have been prey to her attitude? Did she ever consider these people have mouths to feed at home or remittances to be made to partners? Did she thought about all these before subjecting them to such humiliation? Do you know how many phone numbers she muted, insulted and blocked until she saw her kept secret staring her in the face ? Did you read the part where the victim said he only went out to hustle for his child's tuition and angrily went back home after that incident ? I can bet that's not her first, second or even 4th time of duping people and I'm very sure if you're the partner the guy pays weekly and tender such excuse for unable to balance his remittance, you'll never believe it. It's even better her parents are in the know now, so as to help rediscover her life back. I feel no dint of pity for her. Some of these pigs made us bury the humanity in us. You have 1likes from me... Likes oooh not just a singular like This should send a sound warning to other scammers out there. I have been a victim twice b4 and even thrice. A scam can come in different ways, what brought me to my present state is the one they call "local". You wont understand how it hurt until you become a victim and no matter how smart, intelligent and vigilant you are somebody somehow can or will out smart you. I was scammed of my hard earn money at my former place of work amount running to about 15million naira and even lost my job along side cause of it, got arrested and spent days in police cell was even taken to court. Of not for my wife only God knows where I would have been right now. So any every scammer deserve even worse no mercy should be shown. Simple. |

Gentlelife50: And they have removed all the weekend bonuses, these guys are blood suckers. Maybe it will even help drivers realize Uber pays them better las las. Do 20 trips then the rest on 3%, is it not better? With what they are doing it's likely Uber will take over the market in due time. The problem with Uber is they block drivers at will, they should just water down their standard small na Naija we dey.
Their proudness haven't done them any good For all reason i just love UBER and if not for uber I seriously have doubt if I would be able to be meeting up with rental kpelu family, dependants kpelu personal needs. Uber makes work easy, stressness with your self esteem high on your shoulders. But just this morning I woke up to read how my account has been placed on a temporary hold. See pictures within. I immediately mailed them back telling them how unprofessional they must have acted without any form of notice prio to the clamp down on my account. Including how I have planned my day and week to work. Guess what, about about an hour after mailing them I got a reply that my account has been reactivated with apology. 3% after 20 trips is like another thing I can't stop loving UBER. #uber4life.
