One thing u should know is not all 1.8litre engines consume d same amount of fuel.
In the same vein not all 3.5litre engines consume the same amount of fuel.
Some 3.5litre engines can conserve fuel better than some 3.0litre engines.
So don't judge by the size of the piston and block but by the rating, technology and add-ons in the car that may make it more fuel efficient.

You just stated one of the reasons why my MB 1.8L 2003 conserve fuel than even yiur Corolla 1.8/2.0L 2006/2010

And yes You're right but that shouldn't make one use such cars like that for taxi especially in Nigeria. Had it been in develop world like Dubai, UK and in the US where there is more value for services rendered and good roads then its fine. This car is still available for purchase oh car was bought October last yr, 2021 as Tokubo but owner couldn't register it b4 travelling in December 2021.

Within the few months of purchase (Oct-Dec) he only used it to club at night, beach and within lekki some times.

Modified: Car was bought October and not August.

Since last week I've been doing 2k per hour with a client and today now another one called and bargained 2k per hour but said she will give me 1500 per hour if she exceeds 2hrs I told her 1.8k gaskia.

Its just 10min more than 2hrs now so its gonna be 1.8k per hr.

I really hate waiting i must say reason why I can't do office job because it dulling.

The engine is being starve of oil due to the sludge changing oil switch does not solve sludge problem. Eyinola had same problem you're currently having now some page behind if want to really know your problem read some pages backwards you'll see gazzuzz story of Mr. Kareem and his alokowe nephew, read the lengthy story to the very end with comments you'll see the cause and solution to your problem.

If he's driving himself he will make profit. That car shares parts with a V6 Camry of the same year. People use the Camry for Bolt why not a Lexus?

I will not be surprised if the parts are cheaper compared to a corolla.

As for fuel, if 5k fuel grosses 20k on a Corolla, it will gross 15k on the Lexus.

Don't just analyse things base on hypothesis and paper works.

Have you used a V6 3.0L engine car b4?

My 1st car was a V6 3.0L and no went further to rent about 3 Corolla, a civic, 2 other Camry V6 3.0L and another Corolla and also a Camry 2.4L 4cyls.

So what experience do you have that you can use to counter my claims and verse experience of usage.

Yes you may have more numbers of years of experience than I but how many cars did you used for ehailing b4 hanging boot?

Mind you I talk not just from experience but also with records. I've records of my fueling histories while i was using all of these cars so b4 you counter my claim first go use a 2.4L then a 3.0L and then a 3.5L engine for ehailing then return back and edit your post.

Now the mechanic is saying I need to overhaul the engine, that the sludge might have caused the crankshaft to be low and worn out making the oil not to pump well hence the oil light showing on the dash board. He now suggested I overhaul the engine for repair OR I go for a borale engine. AM NOT CONVINCED AND SURE ABOUT WHAT DECISION AND ACTION TO TAKE NOW. AM JUST AN ORDINARY UBER DRIVER. PLEASE I NEED YOUR OPINIONS. THANKS

The former is smaller in engine suxe than the later.
