It's like bolt has started reducing DS if you don't pick a request and if rider cancels. I noticed it this night.

Meanwhile, I picked a rider today from around law school to awoyaya. While on the trip, the guy said I would have to enter chevron, that he needs to pick someone. I asked if he put a stop, he said he doesn't know how to and he doesn't know about it. I said I'll go but he shouldn't waste time. I got there(inside chevron company) I parked and he left. I waited for almost 30 mins. I had called when it was about 15 mins, but he kept begging me to be patient. Omo, I just dey there, dey vex. He eventually came with the guy. The guy apologized, but I made them understand that it was unfair on me. We eventually got to their house at awoyaya. Trip came to 8k plus, bolt gave rider 1k promo, rider to pay 7k plus. The guy transferred the money and told me to check. Omo Na 10k this guy transfer o. All my para and anger just died straight. I thanked him. He said he would thank me instead, cos I was very patient with him. He also didn't let me get to his gate cos it was very sandy.

This one don teach me to dey calm down with riders, if they don't put a stop

Thanks for your input, the new app is not copy and paste, we are only looking at desirables and deliverables on all ends, one of the uniqueness of this new app will be the security features and follow up on drivers who taking trips to places flagged or suspected to be red zone. We may not divulge all here yet but definitely the house will be briefed before the lunching.
I think there should be rating but done in fairness. You will agree with me that the essence of rating is for moderation on not necessarily to punish drivers and just so you know it wont be ideal to allow some danfo driver kinda attitude.

yes and night trips should always come with surge and trips to the above areas u mention should always be on auto 1.9 X or nothing..most of the riders that complain abt driver cancellation or arrived and go offline are going to such forbidden areas , who go see berger to lekki or VI to ikeja and cancel? Infact na me go first call u so dat u don't change ur mind

I don’t really see the destination thing as issue sometimes, i always call to confirm destination before driving to PU.

Some people will purposely put Ago palace way, meanwhile they still dey go inside one dead street. If you can’t tell me the exact street you’re going i won’t show up to pick such rider.

I appreciate that you are keying into this driver owned app.
Some of us will want to introduce a feature called a home zone.
Which will be an area enclosed by a certain radius say 15kilometers around a drivers address.
(Within the home zone it is assumed that the driver is familiar with most routes and the activities of law and traffic enforcement officers and know how to navigate around obstacles within homezones.
Within his homezone it will be assumed he knows how to move and handle emergencies like car troubles, location of nearest mechanic and other useful facilities.)
Drivers will be scored based on the amount of ride request they accept that originate and end within their home zones.
Any request that sends them outside of the home zone should not be mandatory and should incur a surge tarrif to encourage drivers to accept it and should be treated like an indriver request where all drivers see the request and compete to accept it.
After the first trip outside his home zone drivers can opt to continue receiving request outside his zone or be forewarded requests that take him back to his zone.
Towards night, drivers should automatically start receiving requests towards their homezone unless they opt to continue outside their homezones.
If enough drivers are not nearby to satisfy a given request then it should be treated like an indriver trip with surge factor added where all the nearest available drivers outside that area will see it and compete for it .

2 pickups longer than 5 kilometers will have the extra kilometers billed along with the trip or another mode of compensation worked out where the rider is not unfairly billed.
This is important cos it's easy for drivers to lose money on long pickups.


3 Minimum.fare should be N800

4 One inspection should be done yearly.

That's my 2 cents for now.
The last one is actually a quality control issue.

The following features is what the app should have:

1. Ability to choose trips of your choice: it should be able to display trip request info from pick up to destination

2. Open and transparent rating system where drivers can see their rating in statistics at the end of every 10 trips

3. In App voice call and text messages to contact riders

4. Destination trip feature, like 5 usage limit per day would be fine

5. Dynamic pricing, the app should be able to read base on time and distance. Not fixed price

6. Trip request should be be available to drivers atmost 2km distance, not more than this distance.

7. App should be able to run in the background of drivers phone when they are busy with other apps, like multi tasking.

8. App should have its own map for easier navigation and also work with Google map, Waze etc

9. The App should have inapp payment platform where outstanding and commission can be settle instantly with debit cards, bank transfers, Ussd code etc. Payment should be able to reflect within seconds. Not waiting for days

10. Payment of trip should only be in cash. No card trip. Since commission can be settle with debit cards

11. The app should be able to profile riders with valid phone numbers, NIN and picture to ensure safety of the drivers and to avert Crime perpetuated by Evil riders.

12. The app should have face recognition feature or finger print feature before any driver can login and go online. So

13. There app should have surge feature on the app to ascertain where and when demand is high. Prices should increase when there is demand.

14. The app should have effective and efficient drivers support. With ability to send messages in text and in multi media like pictures and short video clips.

15. The app should have S.O.S or Emergency button incase of danger and any critical situation for rescue and assistance.

98% of air mass of Benz are almost identical and what mechanics do is to buy one and fix it and that is where they make mistakes.... The air mass is fixed not according to fitting but product or parts number

Ensure that the one that you are fixing is the same with that particular model of Benz... You can't take an ML320 OR ML350 Air mass and out in C Class or A Class.. It will not work well
