You can still get your balance from Bolt. Click on the trip and report to bolt. Make sure you explain how the rider scammed you cos you’re newbie. They should compensate you with the balance

Let him just report with "rider paid less" or rider didn't pay" at all no time. That rider is a thief and should be shown the hoodlum manner. Bolt will knack him half thw amount which will reduce his commission. Simple

Riders can't see the fare on their phone until you complete the ride.

For sake of next time @ Glithronix don't be in a hurry to complete your rider for any reason.

Just end it and let the rider step out of your car b4 completing it.

Another reason for this is so you don't get intimidated to rate the rider since they're seeing you.

And don't always be in a hurry to leave after finishing a ride. Take some time to look at the car to see if rider left any item or if you need to clean up b4 you move onto the next ride. Unless you're in places like marina rd, or along a major road where law enforcement agents might be a treat to you, yet don't complete the ride just end it, collect your money, let the rider make payment 200m or 100m away from their destination then let them quickly get down. Move to a save place b4 completing the ride.

Even atbthe airport you can still wait to check if or dust your foot mat b4 driving away from the drop off zone the only thing you can't do is pick up at that point.

I've noticed one thing in this thread. You bring your problem or concern here only for people whom you expect to help you out or share in it rather they make same problem more complex than it is. To what end I really don't know!

I'm not sure if the "allow new request" features on bolt works like it does on Uber... Many a time I've tried it yet I still get incoming request. You can give it a try to see if it works otherwise accept all incoming requests even if you're on a ride or about to conclude a ride but make sure you check the request details very well before you accept it so you can decide weather you'll go on thw trip or not.

Now, if after accepting the trip and you'd like to go on the trip tell the rider to be patient that you'll be there in a gefee otherwise tell them your current rider is still riding.

This Bolt DS won't stand the test of time because it's only a matter of time b4 they block 45% of their drivers and this will give space for Uber and indriver to take the market from them.

I don't get boss... Indriver is fix price, if I'm almost close and a rider change his or her mind, I am getting my full money. But if he or she is going to the mainland from island and something happened with island, we an both have an understanding.

I was driving from oshodi going to Maryland, na so a request came in and called rider immediately that I was on my way, had to take the right turning to Anthony village to like to oshodi terminal where the rider was probably waiting, e remain small make I reach there, na so rider cancelled the request, I was like ahhhhh. Which kind wahala be this?
I just drove straight ahead without waiting, mehn the thing pained me.

Next time if the trip is important to you keep updating the rider of your location. People don't like waiting without updated assurance.

It all depend on understanding. I once pick a man from Awolowo Rd going to Ikeja for 3500 as we climb the bridge to 3rd MB, he receive a call and have to turn back. I have to go use Osbrone to connect Awolowo again and I took 2k from him. Then Indriver doesn't take commission.

I pick a lady from Agungi going to Ikeja 4500. Approaching second round about, client say make Aunty no worry again and she ask me to take her back. Aunty transfer my 4500

I have an initiative that can put an end to all these traffic officials harassments.

Instead of complaining here and there, let's map out locations where these officials carry out their notorious acts, let's do a massive donation/contributions and get permission from state government to erect bill boards of road signs in those areas such as "one way ahead", "don't turn right", "watch out for yellow line". We can achieve this by hiding under an NGO to carry out this.

One of the reason I like Indriver and it is very important to check the map before going on any trip, have a great understanding with your rider if it's a one long way before exit. Those people don't pity for drivers when it's time for them to do the needful. Now to island is 2hrs, may end up adding addition 40mins to 1hr, if the price is not right, I'll rather be sleeping in my house. Money not made today, can be made tomorrow.

How do you do it with those riders that decides to complete their trip with either a bike or atop half way after the agreed price.

One olosho girl wanted to play smart on me one day like that... Picked her from VI to Ado road, Ajah.... When I was almost put of the Blanco traffic she said she wants to use bike that the traffic is too much. Fare was 3120 aunty say na 1500 she go pay me... I was even romancing her to pay 2k she say no... Gmap says 16min to destination with abiut 6km to go.

I thought of it... If I collect 2k or 1.5k self indriver has already collected N300+ as commission meaning I'm the one at lost here... Aunty no worry i go carry you reach your destination no worry road don free... I'm not in a hurry.

As if this girl knows what she wants to do she was arguing that she wants to come down... Traffic light clr i speed up... Got to Ajah under bridge me too change am for her that I'm tired can't go any further na so I turned into the side facing vgc... Oya aunty pay me make go... Remove your Okada money... Since you guys are allowed to eat early in the morning eat well, do you prayer then hit tye road. 12noon find a mosque to pray then remain there till 4pm where you do you other prayers as well.

After your 4pm prayers hit the road again till 6pm then break your fast with fruits and vegetables

Do your prayers and hit thw road again till say 8pmnor 9pm or 10pm then go home do your night prayers again and go to bed.

Do this mondays6, Wednesday, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Expect the first week of this ritual to be difficult because your body will try to adjust but the 2nd and proceeding weeks will be a piece of cake, fanta and gala

I try as much as possible to accept all trip and cancel with 'passenger ask to cancel'... My only fear is that doing so shoots up the Client Did Not Show Up % which may also eventually lead to blocking hence I want to know how to balance it and I don't want riders to cancel.

Accept, start ride and end after driving 1 or 2km distance. Report the trip after 4hrs as rider didn't pay
