most Mercs from 010 upwards recommends changing your tranny fluids when it's reached a 40,000 mile threshold..
Just stick to your factory specified transmission fluid and you should be fine...

All yhe same thanks for you input.

Do you think cleaning it first will be okay. The spark plugs are block but I changed them all some 3weeks ago but it's confirm the airflow sensors needs attention.

No other side business aside their 25%.
You can't say that... What will make a man restrict his fleet business to just one partner (Uber) alone even when it's obvious you earnless in partnership with her!

Do you know bio-data of drivers where released to this Moove company... That's a bridge of concept and secreism onnthe part of Uber to all his drivers partners.

How does Moove has to pay to gave access to these data? Could it be that Moove Africa cant operate conveniently should they decide to be independent while their drivers are being free to operate with any app?

What's the special treatment or priority given to Moove or her drivers on the app?

Are you gonna say Moove Africa didn't bring influence to Uber thereby increase their riders base? Or didn't you noticed the increase in riders request we are currently enjoying now is also as a result of the almost brand new vehicles brought in by Moove Africa?

In all of these and more you want to tell me Moove Africa is only in this partnership contract to just carry out his business which it could as well do without any form of partnership with any app?

Bros, only the CEOs of both companies know what the partnership entails

Now I see how truly some drivers believe this is the best work to happen to them.
Lol... Not just that self... That's to tell you the level at which poverty has eaten deep into the mind of an average Nigerian courtesy to our political leaders.

The strategy is to subject one to extreme hardship by looting them then come back to redeem them with a token then ask you to go commit a crime for them, tell me how such a man won't do what his saviour ask of him.

Funny enough the oppressed is even more educated than the oppressor grin

This only happens among the black race.

On those 72 trips, Uber collects their 25% automatically like everyother driver...the rest 75% goes to Moove.
That's what you and i know but behind the scene do you know the actual sharing formulae of that 25% btw the two partners?( uber and Moove) that's my question. Though its non of driver's business shall.

I had to pause my quest to restore my ac system to factory standards as it was just going to cost too much for now.

Being that I didn’t want to miss out on making money this period with a bad compressor, I just went ahead and replaced the compressor with another cheap manual compressor.

Replaced the evaporator as well, as mine was clogged badly. I discovered it was clogged when I hosed the condenser and it still had wet spots on it after a while with the ac running. There were severe temperature differences in close proximity across the condenser surface, meaning parts were clogged and refrigerant wasn’t flowing through some sections. In fact, the first three rows were all at ambient temperature, which was a HUUGE red flag.

Anyways, I think I just bought myself six months at least to save up again for the new compressor as I have used up my “car maintenance” savings on this repair.

Testing with my probe thermometer shows about 17 degrees Celsius coming out the vents now, and like 24 degrees after 5 minutes on a hot afternoon, obviously dropping with time.

Now I can drive in the afternoon again, yay!

Note that you don’t really have to change the evaporator, but it can be flushed cause most of the compressor debris material would first clog up your condenser and the filter/dryer should catch most big chunks along with the orifice/expansion valve. So I wouldn’t flush a condenser but replace it, but I would flush an evaporator.
Good you finally realised yourself on time.

You want to revamped the entire AC system with a new auto compressor... I was actually waiting to hear your testimony of how you changed over 3 auto compressors b4 you later resorted to manual type.

Well, all the same... My next advise is use the car for the 6months period you've settled for or for say 1yr then sell it and buy another with out any issue.

Peace of mind is priceless.

Me I can't come and kill myself on top car wahala.

Wheel balance is mainly for vibration of the steering at a particular speed say above 40, 60 or 120km/hr and not when you step on your break pedal.

Talking about some stupid drivers who believe that provided they're in front either left or right side of the road and a car is behind them then they've the right to change lane just anyhow after trafficating without minding how close the car behind is to them.

In my over 17yrs of driving around Nigeria I've observed and have found out that this is one of the most common cause of road accidents in Lagos and across the country and the worst of it is that the foolish driver when being hit by the car behind will down to claim right he's in front with words like, didn't you see my traficator? Na I hit me for back? All sort of nonsense.

Now, this is the road safety rule. If you're driving on the highway and want to change lane you must first,

trafficate to the side you desire to change lane to

Before you change lane after trafficating you must allow a distance of at least 100m away between you and the car behind the lane you desire to change to.

Permission is needed to be granted first by the driver behind before you enter his lane especially in a close range say less than 50meters otherwise don't enter.

Now, should you do all of these without following the rules and an accident occurs the driver in front bares the cost of repairs of both vehicles or accident victims.
That was how one stupid guy with a silver color big daddy yesterday tried to enter my lane at 7up/Toll gate B/s yesterday. I was just beside him slightly by his back door position and thus idiot guy was still pushing abd trying to push into the dish be my left I horned and horned and horned 4 where? Na him I say anything wey won happen make e happen because if I step on my break there will be multiple hit behind as the car behind me will hit me and the one behind will hit him as well. Na so I increased my speed into the tight edge close to the convent passing him. This stupid idiotic pig started to insult me. enh! Me??! You're mad! I swave into his front like I was to hit him na so the both of us did it oooh... My offline rider who is base abroad was trying to calm me down to leave him because she saw everything right from the onset and was even the first to say what's this guy driving? Does he want to push us into the dish? Me i don vex already, I'd already passed him and was to divert towards Ojota and at this time I've put him on my left and as he bracket me I wind down he too wind down and was still insulting his generation while me too was adding to the insults to his generationgrin na so I carry the bottle on my water can holder throw at him... He was lucky I was diverting.

You needed to see his car self, the right sid le of his car from the back door to the headlamp broken I believe similar thing must have happened and the driver must have hit him.

If that driver is here and can read this I say this to you, you're very very stupid...

I had to visit their office again today. This is for Uber go. The car is for Hp ,18 months, they take everything you make daily. You are to do 72 trips weekly, then if u can meet up that 72 trips before Friday, whatever you make the following days of the week is Yours. You are to fuel the car, they give you 5500 every day Once you meet your daily target. ( Working for 10 hrs) . They handle the maintainance. After the 18 months the car is yours..Ogas in the house how una see am?
Hmm... 72 weeks.

Assume 72 trips amounts to a min of 100k weekly net which is a total of 72 weeks round contract period that's a whooping sum of N7.2m.

Ok now, they do maintenance... But how about repairs because that is totally difference from maintenance, did you ask about that?

How about taking a trip outta state because there is no way one would drive for 18months without getting a trip offer outta state, what's the stake on that?

How about being blocked by Uber to low rating or high cancellation? What happens during the period? Any preference or shield to your account as a Moove contractor and partner to Uber?

What's the size of the engine? I believe 2.0L, do you know you'll be needing at least 6k daily for fuel to meet up to this daily and weekly target bc0s of some long distance PU? that's about 35k Mon - Fri... Will the tank be filled up being being handed over to you?

During campaign/promotions, e.g 2% after 6,8, or 20 trips, who goes home with the bonus amount? Moove or you?

Health.

Is there health insurance in the contract? HMO or something
What happens on the days you fall sick, have functions to attend outta state or decide to have a week leace or break?

These and many more are questions I asked them then when they never allowed me rest as they were always calling I come pick one of the cars on rental then. So bro, ask them question ooh. But las las... If they say they're also responsible for repairs guy! Jump at it but tell them to fill your tank.

Explore every opportunities at your disposal... Pkata pkata you drop the car if e no work well with you or if a better opportunity comes up.

You gerit? If you don't gerit forget abourit.

Cos my bolt inspection expired on Saturday I went to my painter last week to paint d two doors no dent just paint.
D man get like 6cars to paint and asked me to come back dis week.
I met major Generals of lazy D at lekki phase 2 under shade who told me to go and do inspection dt it will pass.

I will go and try inspection if it pass I continue with bolt but if it fails and painter no get chance Na to port to Uber and be pursuing 2%

My mind tells me Uber is better but Being blind to destination is my fear
Come to think about it there's nothing like blind or knowing where you're actually going to b4 hand.

Every job has its ethics and modus operandi. Same way a technic is needed to stay afloat driving with indriver is same way technic is needed to net 200k easily on bolt.

I've come to understand that the blind request on Uber isn't something to bug one's head about, simply ask politely, please where are you going to? All along no rider has given me headache and if it's not okay with me I politely tell them to request again or drop some story of where I am or how cancellation doesn't cost a thing.

So in the end, it all balls down to strategy.

The only edge I see Bolt has over Uber right now is the set destination feature which allows one to set at any given time.

On Sunday I was able to set destination and I was given a trip very close to my house on Uber so I believe Uber blind request is nothing to worry about.

Same as your budget bro even in that Abuja you talked about you'll get very clean and well maintained naija use at a very cheap amount say 1m-1.4m just make sure you get a good Mercedes Benz mechanic and electrician and also an AC technician to go with you at different time for inspection. Pay them 10k or 20k each. You will be glad you did.

Abuja don't just need a car but luxury and fortunately, thats what you also said you need so why settle for less?

Ok then, how do you then calculate the 3% booking fee from a 600N trip, or probably they don't add it to insignificant fares or they add it to fares 1k and above.

The fact still remains that instead of adding 3% booking fee and subtly adding to commission deducted, why not increase fare and then increase commission afterwards, that's a fair bargain.

I bet you they know what they're doing, this is just the pilot episode, wait for when the real drama begins.
First we haven to establish the fact that base fare is same as booking fee or that booking fee is part of base fare or let's call on our honourable bolt agent the one and only honorable pearl1910 to come and explain to us the meaning and dichotomy of these two charges phrases so we can head forward to knowing what is what and what to say about this subject.
