ndubuisi2021: Lol. If he's the type that orders Uber regularly, he won't be thrash talking as if he bought a car for anyone. Ignore that clown.
I won't berate any driver for physically assaulting and dragging these useless ill mannered c+nts from his car. They can push one to that length if one is not very careful.
It's same way I ordered one of these foolish girls out of my car just after covid lockdown. The girl came into my car with an attitude which I ignored, next was a song playing on car stereo. She was like "Oga increase the volume". I adjusted the volume upwards a little to what I feel was normal since my car is not a night club or something.
Next thing I saw was a b**ch from the back seat jumping up to raise the volume of my car stereo to the very highest. Oboi! I quickly switched off the radio completely and asked her to behave or she will leave this car now. This was happening at Kofo Aboyomi, few meters from where I picked her, going to Lekki. Na so the girl begin shout. Boy! I ended the trip and asked her to get the f*ck out.
She said her phone is down that she can't request another ride, meaning that I must take her to her destination. I got badly provoked. The place was quiet, only one dude in his car was watching, no phone, no crowd, perfect opportunity to slap this one and push her out. On a second thought, I decided to drive her to Bar Beech police station. I hadn't even gotten into their premises when police men came out and asked me what the problem is. I told them that I have a mad woman in my car that refused to go down.
The police men were already yelling "oya madam, come down, come down". That's how I left her with police and drove off. Still picked one or two riders because I was on my way home that day. It was just God and wisdom that saved that girl from a serious beating that day. My brother I swear these girls can bring out the devil outta sb... Just try take it easy with them tho, as I dey now... Once you break my rules you're leaving the car you don't want to leave, God help you it's not a trip from lekki to mainland or vice versa .. 3MDB is ur destination... . No time to check time. I'd just ordered for a lesser so this time around? No mercy. My fmr oga always say, in this racket, it's dog eat dog What goes down will come up |

donfortune48: Thanks Elder. But what I want to know is how customs calculate it for an individual. How do they arrive at a particular price for every car?
Just like this 500k for an 05 Corolla; how did they arrive at that price? Is the price fixed for every car? Fix ko deposit ni... My 03 Benz duties cost more than that amount |

yusufdayo1: Pls what model of Benz do you think is okay for the e-hailing? which model are you using currently? what advantage does the Benz has over Corolla or honda and vice-versa. I am sorry if my questions are much but I want you to kindly reply them cos I know you have first hand information of what I needed. Do research on these C-Classes of MB C180 C200 C230 All 4 plugs I learnt the W203 red top engine are more rugged and most people regard them as bullet proof. Their engines are 1.8L. I don't see any advantage the Toyota has over the German cars apart from resale value which I'm very sure that in 5-7yrs that narative will.change because I've seen a lot of people use these cars for ehailing in lagos and other states. The 9ja used of these car ranges from 900-1m And above. Tok is ranges from 2m and above. The only challenge is getting trusted and experience hands to work on it but as you keep using it you'll begin build a relationship with them. |

waywardpikin: Okay, what else do you have to say? Cos I didn't force you to do Uber in a Mercedes Benz. Ain't the cause of your frustration Missy.
Seems most Uber drivers are really frustrated or something. No difference between you and that Uber driver in that video as it stands like this.
Talking about spanner and pepper spray and boot and police all in one sentence. Hilarious!
Please, between the two of us, who is the thug? Old man I was only trying to reset your entitled brain to default. Get it! Be respectful to people that's all. You can't request a service and start playing around like a king whereas you're just the servant"s house boy. You called Nigeria youths out just because they protested. That was a show in support of the killings that took place at the lekki toll gate and have just been vindicated recently after several months of denyal by your mates who ordered the killings. You then went further to say " them no born am well" to say no" to your "after all its just a simple request" like you tagged it. Hey boy! That's hypocrisy. What legacy do you leave behind for you kids if you exhibit such a behavior yet you have the guts to call out NLers anf youths of Nigeria. I didn't support the guy for laying hands on the lady but you have no moral right to cast judgement on him because from your opinion about the case you are even worst. To answer your question on why I brought you here is for you to know that there is a Uber thread in NL where both riders and drivers share ideas and tackles issues like this and to also make you popular a little on NL because I make people popular now since I'm already popular. In case you don't know who I'm please just ask Peace! |

You're part of the wasted generation this country had ever had, youve no moral right to call out Nigeria youth because your stupid and foolish generation did even worse, reason for the present state of the country. You and you cohorts should do and die so that the youths can take over. |

waywardpikin: So all this aggression is for what? I stated my piece, how you choose to comprehend it is your business.
You even took the time to drag me to another thread. Attention seeking much? I dragged you mainly because 80-90% here ate drivers so I want them to get to know you better so that whenever they carry someone like you on either bolt or Uber and the guy portray the kind of mentality as i bolded up there then they'd knew you're the one then we shall know who them born him papa well pass. Didn't you listen to yourself or use your tongue to count your teeth before said that nonsense you posted? And you even called it a simply request. You ordered a ride and then tell me to stop to pick up your guy? Which guy? Oga is yiur guy that broke that he can't order his own ride? Or are you that broke to do video chat with him if gist is what you guys want to do on a 10-15min trip? Oh I get it! He scammed a driver and Bolt blocked him no wonder he can't request for himself or he's a village champ that don't know how to use the app. One sorry is your second name. Now you know you stated your piece right, but you went annoyed venting your anger on the whole of NLers calling them juvenile just because a few didn't stand with you in your summision right? Tell me who's more juvenile here now. Mr. Adult learn to respect people's decision okay, if you order a ride and the driver said he's had enough and ask you to leave his car pay him what you feel like and then order another. Vent your anger by reporting to the app company for proper resolution rather than making a fool of yourself or show of power you do not have. |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Felicity0001: 5:25pm On Nov 18, 2021 |
To start with who's this person? A female or a male. Inasmuch as i do not support any form of physical violence I wouldn't support any form of disrespect from whosoever. I can't pass judgment without hearing from both the riders and the driver... But from the video I've watched here the driver took things too far for laying hands on the lady. No matter what he wasn't supposed to do that at all. I've been in a more severe situation before, 2 or 3 girls if I can remember vividly and I remember sharing the experience here and izzou gave the best advice so should I find myself in such a situation like this again? I'll simply pick up every of my valuable belonging from the car then park in a populated place and then call passers by to come be the judge. By so doing no one will tell them to leave peacefully. But if you're a man and you think you can order me around like your house boy I will tell you we are both made with the same materials and with the same 22 veins if I ask you out of my car and you refuse just be ready to see yourself at the middle of 3MD. waywardpikin: This guy below got it right.
There is absolutely no reason to lay hands on her. Nigerian youths will protest against #EndSARS and oppression, but at the slightest opportunity will become a tyrant too. Isn't that hypocrisy? If I was a passenger in that driver's cab and I told him as a guy to help me branch make I pick up my Gee on my way to wherever, dem no born am well, he must comply after all it was just a simple request. But because it is a lady and he most likely harbors certain prejudices, the next resort is to lay hands. It's wrong man. Any advantage he may have had disappears once violence comes into play.
But of course, this is mature talk and Nairaland is more about the juvenile delinquency so I totally understand. Just imagine the manner you talk at the bolded... Pray never to enter my Mercedes benz and misbehave na wheel spinner and paper spray I go take show u something then carry you put inside boot straight to Area F. The next time you order a ride and you see felicity001 is your driver you go cancel straight off your phone join. |

Gentlelife50: Ant league = those drivers raking in 1million every month, they manage thier time well. They take the hustle serious unlike BAZOO1 and the rest that aren't serious, they work now so they can enjoy later. Hence the reason they immerse themselves in the hustle so much so that they hardly have time to attend to other things, in fact they don't even have friends meaning no weddings or stuffs to attend. Thier mottos {choose your poison wisely, work now enjoy later and they said this job is the easiest}. Just be inside AC car be driving and be making money, they have one group like that BAZOO1 wanted to join before the window closed. All of them in that group are millionaires if not billionaires by now, In fact I heard from a reliable source ( BAZOO1) that thier Chairman is still in rehabilitation sorry vacation. BAZOO1, tulapapa and Felicity how does one join the ant league? This man needs to be inducted into una group. Hahahaha... Una no go kill person with laugh here which one ve vacation again Anyways, the young man is still trying to know his way around Lagos, mind you he's a JJC so we can't recruit him now. Got to oando filled my tank with 5k fuel.

IFSHR: Before the 2k fuel, was your fuel in reserve or you get fuel just top am up with 2k fuel....I know say 2k fuel no fit run that journey/situation you describe above and not enter reserve, what day of the week you run the journey? My fuel just entered reverse along Mobolaji Bank Anthony way on that very day self because I picked up a rider as set destination to drop at ojota on that very day... Na d 2k the rider pay me i take buy the fuel self. The trip was on Nov 13 Saturday. Bro the Mercedes is not just about class but also about economy... I've discussed with people using same car as mine and they said they used less than half tank from Lagos to Onisha. Even I scanned my car two days ago again and it returned with a failed O2 sensor and this has been on for more than a week b4 I went on that trip so just imagine if everything was okay. Germany has one of the most fuel efficient cars in the world and Mercedes Benz is one on the list. |

Pearl1910: Welcome to Lag...congrats on your first few trips. Make sure you go for Bolt inspection within 7days. If not you will be blocked.
For now I will advise u to stay within the main trunk of Lagos. Look at the map of Lagos and remain within Lekki, Vi, Ikoyi, Yaba/Surulere, Maryland, Gbagada, Ogudu, Ketu, Oshodi, Airport, Ikeja, Ogba, Magodo, Berger.
Avoid after Sangotedo, Apapa, Mile 2, Festac, Agopalace, Jakande Estate, Alimosho, Ikorodu, Badagry for now. Hey menh!! How on earth would you advise a new bee to aviod the largest LGA in West Africa if not even Africa? If I where you Heyyyy I would accept trips to every where in Lagos at this time because this is the only way you will be able to learn fast and get yourself familiar to the entire areas then set your boundaries well enough after being to some areas. The only advise I've for you right now is set your working period to be from any time within 5am - 7pm latest. Obey all traffic laws Always wind up yiur glasses Always inform your riders you're new to Lagos then together with their directions learn to make use of Gmap as you drive Don't take one way (fine is 100k and above ) Don't take the BRT lanes (fine is 70k). Some times when you see some congregation of Corolla geng gather with them and listen to what they're saying. You will learn faster from one on one teaching than reading online. Don't rush the hustle, take it easy oh no be only you waka come Lagos we plenty wey get problem. God will see us all through! Welcome to Lagos. Shine your eyes oh. |
