Barbiturate: The check engine was on before and the maintenance req was on. So I took it to my mechanic for service. After the service he called a guy that diagnosed it and the guy said they removed the catalyst but he later did something and the check engine and maintenance req wiped off. Later when I reported here, I called the mechanic to ask him if it was p0420 that showed, the guy said he can't remember, except I pay again for it.
Who can help me diagnose? Always snap results of your scan each you scan ur car... Some mechanics like oluwaseunla will send the results to your phone, radautoworks will either email to you or print in paper for you but all this road side people won't I wonder what's in their brain. Can imagine, you should pay again to get the result he didn't provide for you so what did you pay for b4? That was how one wanted to run me street when I first discovered the AC fault in my car, he charged 20k for workmanship and after the work the problem was still there and he expected me to pay him complete money I look am laugh if na the time men where still boys I for even collect back the 10k I already gave to him... Thank God for oluwaseunla that came to my rescue else I would have fallen into the pit my senseless enemies like p, d, n, c and a few others dug for me but God pass them. I no call anybody name |

Pearl1910: That's another option...when u descend d bridge just continue straight facing Oshodi on the service lane then do a U-turn at the next opening on ur right into d express and face mile2.
Or after descending that bridge u turn left at the next street , keep left and burst out under the new bridge on airport road. But the roads inside that area are bad... Best is the first option |

komodapson: Are there NO ENTRY ROAD- signs there? Lagos State Government has done a great job by mounting road signs in most part of the City.
This is bad!!! Àbí those bad cops and LASTMA guys done comot am... According to the stupid police taskforce guy that took my car said it's people that removed it. Me I know say na lie him be they're the one that removed it else would I see the sign and still drive against the law? Hell no. Let me try describe that place again, coming from afariogun street which needs you to charity bustop along the oworo-apapa Expr rd... Formally you can join the main oworo-apapa Expr rd when you come out from that charity bustop but now you can't unless you drive and climb the bride which leads you to DHL then you conti to isolo/mile2. Mow this is where d pitfall is, if you're going to the airport or ajao estate, you have to go take Boladale to join the oworo-apapa Expr rd because if you are at charity bus stop you can't join tje Expr which takes you straight to the MMIA. Driving forward from that charity bustop which is on the service lane will take you to the slope just by the tail of the bridge to leads to DHL that slope links the MMIA Rd, it's a one way for people going towards the MMIA Rd from Oshodi on servuce lane. This slope is for those coming from either Oshodi/Anthony or Isholo/DHL going to afariogun, oshpdi, mafoluku anf all those areas If you're coming from isolo your best route sunce the bridge at ladipo bustop that leads to MMIA Rd is still under construction after the tanker explosion, your best route is through Cway/Asiani/Osolo way/7&8 Bustop then the bridge and off you go. I hope this help |

YeyeGbami: Coming from mile2 you have to enter via iyana isolo bridge since the useless people refuse to open the bridge that takes you directly to airport rd.
The thing hard me to describe. Use the iyana isolo bridge to access the other service lane coming from oshodi then go through aswani RD to link osolo way. Osolo way takes you directly to airport rd 7/8 bus stop. Keep right climb the new bridge and it takes you to service lane facing airport rd.
I swear na the map dey carry people pass that one way. Always enter through aswani guys, going through that DHL takes you directly to that slope and the weyre cops will be waiting. You try abeg to describe that place no easy at all... The alternative route you just mentioned is the best way to go. |

komodapson: Na the key issue be this gàngán, in which I noticed over 2months ago. I may be wrong, but this seems largely due to more influx of Drivers in this rideshare industry, and also the purchasing power (disposable income) majority people has dwindled , no thanks to galloping inflation.
Make I no lie you, Bolt/Uber ride is becoming a luxury these days and that's why at slightest hitch, the rider gets angry.
@Felicity... I noticed on Sunday, there's increasing numbers of "new users" on Indriver app platform . It got to a point, the entire request log were from "New Users"... Did you take cognisance of this in recent times? You're very much correct with your summision No doubt the average Nigerian can't afford the simplest things any more, inflation as sky rocket even to afford 2 quality square meals now for the rich self is very difficult too more the poor. Ride share like we all know is majority for the middle class, the low class and the some fraction of the upper class in that order... Even the rich can't afford some of the things they easily afford b4... Okay yesterday after leaving my mechanic ws in apapa I got a trip to ikj afterwards the traffic was crazy so I decided to take a trip the island then wait till the traffic goes b4 going home. Luckily for me I got a trip on Uber, 2.4x I was like anywhere this personnis going I go suck head oh. She didn't call I wasn't border I called and she gave me the right PUA, got there waited 4 some minutes b4 she came out... Started the ride toA. Doherty, Lekki. Ended trip it was N8900... Menh! Rider shouted, what! She complained and complained and complained... I asked her, madam didn't you see the estimate when making the order? Base on the madam she is she gave somebody her phone to do the request for her... She kept complaining I kept telling her "I'm sorry ma'am" She said she was gonna quarry the ride, I said no problem. She paid and I left.... All along she was complaining I felt her pain because I know how difficult the country is presently. No jobs, many have lost the little one they have... For them to survive uber is the only sure hope... Anyways. For the indriver, I vex delete the app 3weeks ago, after taking me through a fresh registration again they still told me they have no category for my car in their app. I tried severally same reply so I just vex delete the app... The app is a major setback to the ride share industry even if Nigeria gets better and people can afford to pay 5k on bolt/Uber for. 5km 5min trip indriver's will still offer N500 for same trip. |

Key to getting go trip out of Sangotedo axis is starting early. Set out by 5 and drive towards skymall or Ogidan shopping complex.
At least 3x in a week my first trip is always to the airport.
Request around Sangotedo in the early hours can be tricky and full of time wasting trips. You have to be smart to make the best out of it.
I avoid trips going to any of those bus parks at Abraham adesanya like a plague (na why I no they chase bolt bonus) I don't even do any Ajah trip. It's either VI or Mainland. Pearl1910: There is this particular compound in Justice Rose Ukeje, off Pinnacle filling station. The girls will say u should drive into d compound. The first day I did I was thinking it's a big compound, do u know that compound cannot even contain my car except I drive very close to d building before d gate can close. I was so mad... subsequently, I have gotten trips from there like 3times again and each time they will say drive in, I will say okay. But when they come out I will tell them to walk out that I can't drive in. At that time they will have no choice but to walk out to the car. Then hala why didn't u drive in?, and I will answer them well face to face. Are you afraid to tell us what you told them face to face? Many at times people will share theur experience giving words to words details and you'll be the first to castigate, why did you say this, why did you say that? Often times you and a few like northbird, dru23, cheerfulgiver and a few more I can't remember have shamed talked people who shared their experience but you all have never been bold for once to share some of your bad experiences so that others can learn but you're fast to chuck mouth demonize and even blame somebody for a simple mistake as if you are any better. Pearl1910: Your phone and or network must be d culprit because u r in a good area...starting and closing u will always get a trip. Your phone should not be less than a 2GB 32 phone. And if it's filled up, delete pictures, videos and Apps to have minimum 2GB of free space out of the 32GB
Then positioning is key, observe ur environment if it's a place u can easily get trips. Target densely populated residential areas, commercial areas, corporate areas and mixed zones. Know d times and seasons and where to position. Residential areas in d morning, commercial and corporate from mid-day.
Toggle d car icon on your App (If on Bolt) intermittently to make sure u r online and not idle.
Select trips...some trips are time wasters, avoid heavy traffic zones except it's a long distance trip on surge. Some short trips are worth it some are not. U should be able to determine the ones that aren't worth it. One good long trip is better than 3 average trips.
If I were u, in d morning I will be looking for a trip to d mainland or at least VI from Sangotedo. Surge or no surge, that will set you up for high earnings and ginger u to make more throughout the day.
All d best He said it all... Take these things one after the other and with time your earning will get better. Also, try get an MTN sim, e get why. Good luck! |
