This campaign of calumny will not save APC. So because of Obi contesting the Southeast will suffer? You guys really think we are joking this time. At least lemme speak from what I know. Obi knows the states in the bag for him and no Jupiter born of Saturn can stop him from contesting. APC first point of action is to ensure Obi is not in the ballot. One idiot from Ohaneze is saying rubbish you are now saying Ohaneze said. Obi is coming, Delta, Edo, Bayelsa, Rivers, Cross River (I don't know of Southeast region wey dey mumu) the surest plugs for Obi. We rather vote Obi and loose than to vote a failure and be smiling. |

It's not necessary! Who loves to dance with a mad man? The Edo State governor is a practical signature of what the APC has to offer. Buhari Tinubu Okpebholo Can you strike the similarities? Obi should not stoop so low I beg. |

destinychildolu:Stake on what you believe, If you are so sure Tinubu will do 2027 stake on 200k. Let's just play with that. |

Atiku will experience his worst defeat if he stubbornly contest. |
Let the campaign begin. 2027 is still far, let's just keep our fingers crossed. |
Power Is Not Served À La Carte” — A Warning or a Declaration of War? Before the 2023 presidential election, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu famously declared that “Power is not servied à la carte.” At the time, many interpreted this as a rallying cry for political engagement and electoral tenacity. However, in hindsight, that statement now carries a darker undertone—one that echoes through the outcome and aftermath of the 2023 elections. Despite massive support for the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, both within and beyond his traditional base, the electoral process raised serious questions. Reports of widespread irregularities, logistical failures, voter suppression, and manipulation of election results severely undermined public trust in the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Many Nigerians, including prominent voices within the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), openly claimed that Peter Obi was the true winner of the election. Yet, power did not shift. Instead, the APC government, backed by state machinery, consolidated its hold through the active complicity of institutions that are meant to serve the people impartially—namely, INEC and the judiciary. The phrase “power is not served à la carte” began to feel less like a motivational phrase and more like a coded justification for subverting the democratic will. It is imperative that Peter Obi, his supporters, and the larger opposition bloc fully grasp the implications of that doctrine. The current ruling party is unlikely to cede power willingly, even in the face of clear electoral defeat. The events of 2023 demonstrated that retaining power at all costs—even at the expense of public confidence, national unity, and institutional credibility—is a strategy the APC appears willing to embrace. What Lies Ahead for 2027? As 2027 approaches, Nigerians must not delude themselves into thinking that the next election will be a fair contest by default. If power is truly “not served à la carte,” then it implies that power must be fought for, not with violence, but with unmatched strategy, mobilization, and unwavering vigilance. The opposition must: Build formidable coalitions across party lines and ethnic divides. Invest in grassroots political education and organization, especially in regions historically neglected. Insist on electoral reforms that guarantee true independence of INEC and transparency in result transmission. Prepare for legal and political resistance beyond Election Day. Leverage public sentiment and global diplomatic pressure to demand democratic accountability. Reclaiming the Narrative Ironically, the people are beginning to adopt Tinubu’s own words: Power is not served à la carte. But now, it’s no longer a warning from the ruling elite—it’s a rallying cry from a nation battered by inflation, insecurity, unemployment, and poor governance. The citizens are no longer naive. From the North to the South, East to West, Nigerians are saying: “We understand now. And we are ready.” It is my thoughts that the phrase "POWER IS NOT SERVED A LA CARTE" once used to justify political aggression may ultimately become the slogan for a national awakening. Because power belongs to the people—and no amount of manipulation can silence a nation that decides to rise. Shalom! I write from Port Harcourt City! |
lagostrendboy:Be whining your nipples! Catholics don't leave their churches. I worked with several Pentecost churches including RCCG and the Catholics I found there most are still Catholics till tomorrow even Osilama who is now a pastor in redeem. Myself I cannot trade Catholicism for any fireless fire. Pentecost churches are the most fireless churches I have worked with. No, you won't understand. Try handle the media department of a Pentecostal church and you will know you are not in church. So noisy and baseless. In Pentecostal churches Jesus is 5%, pastor 85%. |
We play too much in this country. I watched the video and I felt so heartbroken. I cannot imagine Sheriff, or Okowa making that kind of reckless statements. We play too much! |
Truvelisback:40 characters done and dusted! |
Truvelisback:Ok sir, education is not your BSc or PhD. Education is not your certificate. With your certificate there are fields you cannot fit in. You will need the illiterate technician to educate you. The person may just have his first school leaving certificate and he will be miles ahead of you that has your BSc in Mechanical engineering. Do I still need to define education? |
favouredbymercy:In Delta state Atiku spent a huge some also in Rivers and Obi who barely does got the day. Despite Wike and Tinubu's huge spending in Port Harcourt Obi still dealt with them if not for the Wike rigging robot. I know what I wrote and knew why I did not add vote buying. How many votes did Obi buy in Lagos, Edo and Osun states? It's not like vote buying is not part of it but my topic is "Six Never-fail tool" |
Blitzerz:We have to be realistic. On most election days movement are grossly limited don't forget. |
