Good day all,
First I'm new to the android family. I cant access google play and when I tried via the pre-installled Opera Mini, it showed your country is not allowed. Also I tethered successfully to my Laptop and I have been downloading an app for ages.
Please help.

adewasco2k: i will not advice you to do a total format..this is what you should do if: you check your 'computer' and you can see a partition of your hard disk labeled Recovery.

1. Backup your files
2. restart your system and whilst booting hit the F11 key..it will take you to a recovery mode, there you should do a system restore.

BUT if you insist on getting your product key back then you will need to download a program to show you your product key (System Information for Windows SIW).

ADVICE; if you are going to format start thinking of backing up your drivers already

I downloaded the SIW but d windows product key is different frm the one on the sticker. Same result when I tried it on another laptop. So which is now the original windows key? Thanks.

The Compaq Support Information window appears.
This window contains the model number of your HP computer.
For example 6330US.Also check the back of the battery

If in doubts turn the laptop upside down and llok at the lebels. is this vista or windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit

It is just compaq CQ61. Nothing more. It is a windows 7 64 bit sysytem.

have you tried reinstalling the Bluetooth driver?
and what exactly is wrong?

Na my lappy bluetooth. It doesn't connect to my phone or other bluetooth devices. It tells me 'lappy does not support other device', peripheral device not found. I've tried reinstalling the HP bluetooth program to no avail. Thanks.

Thanks. Like I asked earlier will d F11 help restore the bluetooth function? I have done recovery already with the default app and I thought d drivers have been included as well.

adewasco2k: What's the make and model of your PC? You have the physical recovery cd or the recovery partition?
If you are to run recovery and not formatting you may not need the windows product key.
If by chance you have an HP system just press the F11 key at start_up to enter recovery mode

HP Compaq CQ61. I think it is d recovery partition discs which was 'burned'. Will ur suggestion make the bluetooth to be functional & files will remain cos that is my reason for d formatting? But just in case, how do I get the Windows product key back? Thanks.

Hi @ all. I want to format my laptop cos the bluetooth is not functional after I cleaned the registry with CC CLEAN UP app some months ago. I've d recovery discs but the product key has faded off. Any help? Thanks.

acidtalk: I have never bought books in soft copies. I only have them in Hard copy and Audio Cd. But if I know your interest of reading I could recommend some books for you and send you links of where to download them from.

Anyway, that 25K is too small. It is insultingly less than 200 dollars. That can hardly pay half a full month's rent. You should normally earn in the range of 1.8M-4.0M Naira per annum at any of the reputable asset management firms in Lagos.

Do as Violet has advised. Judiciously submit your CV to any finance and investment house that exists in Lagos and maybe Abuja. In fact, FCSL on 15 Ribadu Road off Awolowo Road, Ikoyi is currently recruiting management trainees. ARM is almost concluding its recruitment of entry level staff. Both companies are in Ikoyi; both companies pay above 2M on the average, per annum. Run there and submit your CV. Even sef, AIMS Asset Management, Investment Research Nigeria (Thaddeus Investment) and even CSL(FCMB investment and brokerage house) are all places you can submit your CV and be called for test before this month ends.

My fear is that you don't have any other selling point besides your impressive academic degrees. Have you ever written an equity research, debt research or economic research report in a professional capacity? If you have, then you may let me see a sample. If I am impressed with your writing skills, I may have your CV forwarded to someone who will favorably or unfavorably review it with the sole aim of hiring you.

Who told you dat? I'm currently a trainee in the Abuja training school and I can confidently tell you dat derz nufn like dat in the recruitment process. In my batch, we were more than 6 for both the one-on-one interview and d panel and currently, ALL of us, I repeat, ALL of us are in the training school. So please, be careful abt ur statements ere.

Kockane: No, its not a waste of time. Before my current job, I had an offer in sum healthcare firm in lag, wich I eventually declined cuz I didn't feel d pay was worth it. Dis was a position I didn't even apply for. Dey just went thru d database of one of d many recruitment agencies I submitted my cv to and dey gave me a call. And no, it was an international company, just an upcoming firm. So guys, keep applyin, it is well. It wouldn't hurt to diversift though, a lil online application, a lil hand to hand... Bless.

From your first poultry cycle, to when you become a guru, you will keep learning and keep inventing a better way to do it. So even if the 800,000 people on Nairaland lend in their ideas and solutions, every one of use that want to go into this business will have to learn one thing or the other in the process. One thing I leaned during my first cycle was never to leave what I can do myself to someone else to do. this is what happened, I left home very early on Sunday morning leaving my wife to help turn off the lights/heat in the coop, to check the water, and to raise the tapolline that covered the sides of the coop. My wife got busy with the kids and forgot to do any of these things. The result, by 2:00pm, 13 birds that weighed 1.8kg each have died of heat exhaustion. The light was creating heat, the sun was super high, their water was gone and the tapolline kept the heat in. So imagine if the number was in the hundreds or thousands.

@ fasbio, Don't leave what you can do for someone else, who might not have the same kind of passion for it as you do. IF you do it right in Nigeria, you will make more money that you can ever make in UK. UK and U.S will be a vacation destination for you and not a place to work and hopping to survive. You can have best of both world.
