Kudos to all the brains behind this great forum called Nairaland..I have been following virtually all the sections with key interest, the information here are certainly invaluable..God bless us all. I got an invitation from my friend in July and I scheduled an appointment for me,my son and my wife for the last day of August.Between the period of applications and the interview I read this great section from page 1-finish to equip myself with the right information. To shorten the story I was at the US embassy in Lagos for my interview yesterday and to God be the glory I was granted the Visa. Point to Note: You can do it yoursef without any agent cos I did it myself following the instructions gotten on this platform. I have only been to Liberia and my wife has not travelled before. From my experience today, I think all you need at the US embassy is God,Confidence and Luck. The VO did not asked me for any document. My interview was for 1130am,I got there an hour earlier to avoid stories that touches. Here is our transcript: Me,My wife: Good Afternoon VO: Good afternoon, Please let me have your passport Mywife: Handed it over cos I was carrying my son. VO: Where do you work facing my wife? Mywife: Answered... VO: Who are you going to visit still asking Mywife Mywife: She answered. VO..Now faced me,where are u going to in the US Me: I answered.. VO: Types on his system and asked what I do for a living Me: I told him where I work VO: Please your finger prints both of us Me: We did that VO: How many days are you staying? Mywife: 15days she replied VO: Do you have any other child looking at my Cute son Me: No I replied with a smile VO: Asked who I was going to visit again Me: I gave him the address and he typed and told me my friend's name VO: Kept on typing and then asked if my wife had travelled before Mywife: No she said with a smile without any hesitation VO: Asked me same question Me: I said yes to Liberia VO: Pull out a white Paper and said when you get to Texas in few days time do take care of your son.... VO: He handed over the paper and We (Me & Mywife) both said thank you and left. It was God.... |

ifedubatoochukw:I am not surprised at you at all.You have started to pick holes in the very first action of the President,I think some people are better off in the zoo as animals.I don't mean too insult anybody but your write up left me with no option.Pls,use your education well otherwise, you might have succeeded in wasting all your precious time in school... |
Pls not for you Politricks |

ShowYourCertificate:A bit of optimism would have been ok..Haba! What do u stand to gain if we have to pass thru the disappointing tenure like Jonathan again? Hmmmm |
dre4u:Just check this site.....www.wes.org |
asadike:Hmmmmm...It shows the extent of your understanding of what service to one's fatherland is all about...people like you are the ones castigating the frantic effort of these young men who abandoned the comfort of their homes and beautiful families to liberate you from the bondage of ur corrupt grandfather's and so call leaders..My friend you better have a change of mind and look at things differently.. |
Nice one Bro... |
Why won't Fayose spend billions of Naira to support his godfather that rigged him into office? You can only fool some people for sometime but you certainly cannot fool all the people at all time... |
Blankstare:You are obviously preparing for the task ahead. |
naijaking1:It is obvious how well educated you are by insulting people on social media..My friend when people express their opinions there's no need taking it personal,if you are not ok with it keep mute or betterstill say your own...Pls I don't tolerate insult. If you know it all you wouldn't contribute all.. |
My dear,it is more risky not to take a risk at all.I think you should follow your mind and like what a lot of good Nairalanders have said take ur time to do a comprehensive research before you go.But personally Canada is worth the risk.God bless ur hustle,God bless Nairalanders and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria |
I am mostly grateful to all the contributors of this trend..pls I need information on top up degrees in Australia Universities,I have an HND and I intend to go to Australia via the Top up route to get my Bsc,Masters and subsequently get a job...Important contributions will be highly appreciated. |
Akkord4gov:And who told you is bad to do research about great men? The secret of any successful man is in their story,so guy of you wanna be successful in life do more research about great men,it will go a very long way to motivate you in life..... |
izuch:You never can tell brother.. |
Sunnybobo3:That shows clearly that you are lost in the affairs of the nation...who completed the remaining tenure of Late Yaradua? My friend don't be sentimental, think rational and contribute logically. Its so annoying that these same set of jobless youth are the ones crying for Jonathan to continue so that the youth can perpetually live in penury..smh |
honTim:Profit should not be the first thing on ur mind..First thing first...learn the fundamentals of the business before thinking of the possible increase.... |
I don't know exactly how the issue of collateral is ur headache...Instead of you to be objective, you are allowing your parochial interest to overshadow your simple sence of judgement and good analysis..May God help Nigeria |
FKBZ:Pls any genuine business idea will be well appreciated..Thats why we are here to cross pollinate our ideas |
Dalby:Thks a lot for taking your time to enlighten many of us..I was having faith in that erroneous calculations until Diamond Bank brought in their own.So for the potential investors, the interest rate is calculated on a yearly basis. |
Hmmmm...I don't agree with some of these points cos it looks to me like the people are planning to take over.Remember Na Africa we dey ooo |
