Please which would you advise him to do? He has a B.A in English (2.1). He is currently into his masters also in English but wants to have an educational qualification. Should he go for a post Graduate Diploma in a university or at the Nigerian Institute of Teachers (which he knows is more flexible but can't say whether is widely recognized) or take TEFL/TESOL? The conduct of the test at the Port Harcourt centre was quite applaudible. Despite the number of applicants amounting to like 800, everybody was interviewed even those who were not shortlisted. The first day was a written test while the oral interview followed on Saturday and even Sunday. The attitude of the interviewers was commendable. They were thorough, unsparing and transparent in the interview. If the the selection of successful candidates will be that fair too then we can hope that better days are coming for Naija. Does anyone in the house know the next stage?
