Autos / Re: 7 Reasons Why Driverless Cars Won't Work On Nigerian Roads by femiaji: 8:14pm On Dec 10, 2016
Driverless cars are a million light years away from Nigeria. Stop dreaming about it. Naija is still in the 17th Century with everything. Driverless ko, Driverfull ni

Donald3d:

The whole world is going gaga about driverless or self-driving cars and how cool they are .Nigerians especially have affinity for luxury and using the latest technology especially when it comes to cars .
Today we would be giving you seven reasons why driverless cars won't just work here in Naija .

1.Law Enforcement Agencies

We all know how unlawful our law enforcement agencies can be at times grin. They stop cars for no just cause. Its really going to cause a lot of trouble when your car gets flagged down and it doesn't stop, driverless cars has no respect for NPF and LASTMA grin .

2.Danfo Drivers

If driverless cars eventually become popular in Nigeria there is no doubt that cities like Lagos ,Port Harcourt, and Abuja would be dominated by them. Then comes the problem of Danfo Drivers and other drivers that have no chill.Your poor driverless car which would get "confused" as a result of countless unexpected overtaking is going to get seriously bashed ,plus insults grin .

3.Bad Roads

Driverless cars are programmed and where they come from there are little or no pot holes , so except your car is customized with an additional NPHDS(Naija Pot Hole Defense System),O.Y.O is your case shocked .

4.Traffic Lights

Driverless cars depend on traffic lights to know when to stop at junctions etc. This is going to be a big problem in Nigeria where, in some places we have humans as traffic light .

5.Mechanics

Hold on.... I know there are ,learned, accredited ,experienced and reputable car mechanics in Nigeria, but how many of them are available and affordable .Waheedi is going to be messing some peoples car up, case closed cool .

6.Cost

I know there are rich folks in Nigeria that can afford it initially ,but as a result of all the aforementioned, you are going to be spending a whole lot as a result of constant bashing, on repairs and maintenance cry .

7.Hackers

I could have easily let this slide , but naaah .Whether you agree to it or not, Naija still has a long way to go when it comes to Cyber Security, and whether you also agree to it or not we have some good hackers here.So if you plan on buying a self driving car don't offend any programmer else you would meet your car swimming under Third Mainland Bridge grin .

Hope you guys had fun reading this , is there anything you would like to add ,kindly comment.
Also don't forget to share !!!.

Pay attention

First year University of Ghana medical studentsy were attending their 1st Anatomy Class. They all gathered around the table and there was a real dead body on the table.
The Professor, Mwangi started the class by telling them two important qualities of a DOCTOR. He said, "The 1st is that never be DISGUSTED about anything in the body." For example, he inserted his FINGER in the dead body's ANUS & put the finger in his own mouth & TASTED it.
Then he told the students to do what he did. The students hesitated for several minutes, but eventually everyone inserted their fingers in the body's ANUS & tasted it. When everyone finished tasting their fingers, they were all Frowning...
Then the professor looked at them & said: "The most important 2nd Quality is "Observation". I inserted my MIDDLE finger but tasted the 2nd finger... Now learn to pay attention!!
"ALL the students fainted!!
.
.
_Happy Sunday_...fellaz
.

Even if them no tell me, I no go taste that finger - Sharp Lagos boy no dey carry last. Observation is the formal name for Streetwise cool grin

Politics / Re: Patrick Obahiagbon Reacts To Buhari's Delay In Appointing Ministers by femiaji: 10:18am On Jun 28, 2015
Softly Softly Catchee Monkey You must not be led aside by fits of disinclination or annoyance; if you give way to these you will never succeed. Patience and perseverance win the day. "Softly, softly, catchee monkey." -- BadenPowell ? The ProcessPattern version: Managers, Teachers, Parents, Users, Stakeholders and other Authority Figures seem to want it done right, done immediately, and never done again (DoItRightTheFirstTime ). Of course you can't deliver on such expectations, and in fact most of these Authorities are just your own boojums - the real people behind them know that good work takes time. They're putting pressure on you because they want your best, not because they expect a miracle. Now sometimes what these folk want is really not difficult to do. You know how to get from A to B, you get into that MentalStateCalledFlow, and you do it. But sometimes you haven't got the faintest, or you're damn certain what they're asking for isn't a realistic expectation, or it isn't the right thing at the right time. Therefore, Don't meet the insurmountable problem head on, but move slowly, deliberately, compassionately, to surround it. You don't catch your monkey by running into the jungle and trying to flush it out. Monkeys move faster in a jungle than you, and they can always climb and hide. Step back. Get lazy. Ignore deadlines. Think. Research. Wander. Let the back-burners do some work. Panicking and rushing isn't going to solve a hard problem. Perhaps you're not doing the right thing at the right time. Perhaps there's some other way to balance the forces, or some forces you're neglecting. You won't find the solution by looking for it; it has to find you. Let it. If you enter the jungle with due pace and caution, but with no idea in your head about catching a monkey, they won't see you as a predator coming. You just mind your business until you see a monkey. They'll be paying you no attention. Then calmly and deliberately notch your arrow and catch your dinner.

With Gej in charge, there is hope for our country and corruption will be a thing of the past. All who were involved no matter hw highly placed u are,you will be brought to book under the watchful eyes of the president.

Politics / Re: Have You Paid New Electricity Tariff? by femiaji: 9:14am On Jul 13, 2012
Paentera: I use the pre-paid meter and yes, the rates have sky rocketed to N12.45/kw up from N7.25/kw prior to the tariff increase. To make matters worse, the former maintenance charge moved up from N75 to N500, an increase of more than 500% angry angry angry !!!

Which ever ways, I still prefer the pre-paid cos it means I can regulate my use of my appliances and manage my bill. I was initially using up N2,500 per month at home and N2,000 for the office but now use up N3,500 for the house and N2,500 for the office. All we have done is to ensure that appliances are not left on and of course changed our bulbs to the lower wattage ones that consume about 1/4 of the former bulbs' energy - this goes a long way.

na wa oh
my bill just doubled. no prepaid meter. i spend barely 8hours at home.
e be lik say i go sell d 2 generators nd get a noiseless mikano or cummins.
at least 10,000naira fuel monthly na value for money.
