Ohh shit... I didn’t pay the sms fee because I was told I didn’t need to do that since my biometrics was in Lagos and I’m also send to Lagos.

Hi Sammy, you made a post earlier and I gave you a detailed response based on what you explained.
You’ve repeatedly asked the same questions and it can lead you to make mistakes.
If I’m right, you said you are in Abuja and that’s where you did your biometrics. Then why are you still adding transmission fee of 9410 as opposed to paying for only sms fee-990?
I knowingly edited that part before sharing with you what you needed to do.
Anyways I hope you’ve submitted your passport now?

First application was 15th May 2021 and on the 10th of September them serve me breakfast which came with premium tears.

Submission- 13th December 2021

I ordered for my notes to know the main reason for my refusal in other to know how to tackle them appropriately.

The refusal reason was that dy don’t think the bank statement I presented wasn’t going to take care of my tuition and accommodation so I was refused

What I did was to get two sponsors. The first sponsor is my dads younger brother. I got an employment letter from him cus he owns a law firm. So basically it made sense to say he was going to sponsor me to acquire knowledge and help foster the growth of his business. Co-sponsor is my mothers younger brother who is a Canadian citizen. He wrote a letter stating he was ready to take care of my accommodation as my school is just 15 mins away from his place sha as well as my feeding.

Like i said application took almost 9 months... on the 7th of June I was requested to send an updated LOA That same month emailed an MP. She was ready to help but the info she got back from ircc wasn’t really helpful has it was just basically a summary of my application.

I basically informed my school about the request and it was sent to me... I was never asked for updated SOA or POF

I send mails almost every day.... I was able to reach a MP she contacted ircc but the response she got was basically a summary of my application.... it was stated study permit was submitted 13th December, dey requested for an updated LOA, my medicals expired and ended it with application is still under active review or something similar sha.

Since then nothing.... I just did a new medicals last week Monday which is already updated to pass

Have you ordered your GCMS notes?

9 months is a long period though, you shouldn't be sleeping..

Thank you for contacting the Ministerial Centre for Members of Parliament and Senators.

We can provide you with the following details about the status of the application for a study permit for OYEWOLE, OLUWAFEMI ENIOLA:

The application was received at the Canadian visa office in Nairobi, on December 13, 2021.
The responsible office is currently reviewing the application and documents submitted to determine if the applicant meets the eligibility requirements for a study permit.
[Medical examination results are on file and have expired.
An email was sent to the applicant on June 7, 2022, to request Updated LOA, we invite the applicant to provide the information within the time frame indicated in the correspondence.
Due to COVID-19, IRCC is experiencing processing delays and we can’t provide you with accurate processing times for this application. Rest assured that we understand how important this process is for the applicant and are making all the necessary efforts to finalize the application as soon as possible.
As of today, no final decision has been made. The responsible office will inform the applicant in writing as soon as a decision is rendered.
If the application is approved:
the officer will insert a TRV counterfoil inside the applicant’s passport. The passport and any original documents included with the application will be returned to them in person (if interviewed) or by mail (if there is no interview).
If the application is refused:

I applied since December 13 2021. My eligibility started around May and by June 7 I got a request letter to submit an updated LOA which I submitted immediately... since then no decision on my application

I even emailed an MP and she contacted IRCC and dy haven’t responded to her yet... resumption is August ending... I don’t know what to do again

You can send them the one you've initially sent only if there is nothing changing, you may want to confirm from the school whether or not there is nothing changing.
