You all scream about how your government violates you and how they dont uphold your human rights

But that's for 1 main reason

When you have the opportunity to fight for your rights
Legal and human

You simply choose not to

Men like me spend decades fighting for other people's rights, so do you really think we will give ours up for a parent of a woman?

I do not see myself as better than other human on earth in fact I know that am far worse than any Nigerian man in many aspects and 1 of those aspects is lengths I am prepared to go to get what I want and to seek justice

I have killed my own parents, yes it was in self defence but what Nigerian man would even consider killing his own parents? Almost zero

I have 6 older half sisters and they are alot older than me as I was a menopause baby

They are nearly 2 decades older than me
They were adults when I was a baby
I have no contact with them due to the emancipation thing

However 1 of my sisters was kidnapped and sexually abuse by Pakistani men before I born

The second i was 21 and I learned what happened to her, i hunted those men down and literally put their balls in her hand

What Nigerian man would do that or consider that? So how am I better than you?

Im not, i am a lot worse than you

The only lines I will not cross are

1) i will not abuse women
2) i will not abuse children

And you seem to misunderstand me
I was married to a yoruba woman and 3 parts of yoruba traditional weddings are completely forbidden in my culture

I did the whole customary court thing and the court thing in general and her father did serve a prison sentence for that violation of human rights
And I am not a dishonest person
I do not lie

But I will use the letter of the law to my advantage in every situation

Nigeria is corrupt and me being white and using the law to my advantage is literally the only advantage I have over you people because you always side against us in weddings however the law cant

Oh you think non-Nigerians are the only one entitled to paying the bride price in full? 😆 Nah even Nigerian men! Especially Nigerian men who are rich! They already knew growing up that the more money you have the more you spend on your woman's bride price
BUT
if the man isn't 100% financially stable he can reason with his inlaws and they'd reduce the gifts, expenses etc and some family would contribute as well.
It happened to my parents, both family contributed to my parents traditional marriage as my dad was still an intern at a hospital at the time and he wasn't 100% financially capable of the wedding expenses but was deeply in love with my mom.
Plus it's all about gifts too and presence and not necessarily money, you d0nkéy!😆😆
The thing is rich Nigerian men doesn't complain about paying 100% for the wedding expenses as they already grew up knowing the more money you earn the more you spend without complaining and it's even some sort of ego for a rich man to spend on his woman.
But one secret, the Nigerian women of this Gen Z era are starting to follow the path of modern women as regards mocking you for complaining about spending😆 Nigerian women today are very materialistic so you better not let them catch you complaining about expenses😆😆
You are pathetic always using the bride price as the avenue of attack

Thats your insecurity because you will never he able to afford one and thats your problem in your head its always bride price bride price bride price and you cannot get past it

Not my issue

What else is involved in a wedding little boy?
Traditionally the brides family contributes to something

And it doesn't if its something tiny the point is contribution to bond both families

But there is nothing traditional about Nigeria today not 1 thing

Probably because you inserted certain negative trigger keywords that initiated the entire response and then lie about it having only cons and no pros but oh well, let me wait for your proof🤷🏾‍♂️
Remember, you have to deliberately make a typo so that Google exposes all your search bar input and corrects it☝🏾🤡
Let us know if indeed it had "...no pros and just cons" or you triggered it to give a biased review on the negative opinions

A brit calling Nigerian men animals? Pretty funny. One of the slime balls that is part of your royal family has faced credible allegations of pedophilia and was a constant visitor to Jeffrey Epstein's island. Your late queen did everything possible to keep the matter under wraps. Prince Andrew the child molester has remained shielded from justice by the British society and press who have chosen to pretend everything is normal.

You dogs have no grounds pointing fingers at others when your royals are dogs themselves.

I have never ruled out adoption as an option, so I guess it does not make one jot of a difference to me wink
Someone read this topic and answer a serious question for me

Alot of you claim multiple tribes through distant relatives alot here and thats a little annoying sometimes

But how does adoption and tribes work here because I dont truly understand it

Say hypothetically a married tiv couple and both are infertile to save hassle in the question

But they adopt a mwaghavul child, the child is the child of that couple its not debatable, but what happens to his original tribe? Does he become 100% tiv just through adoption or is he always mwaghavul or both or none or what?

RomanceRe: What Is Your Favourite Nigerian Tribe Apart From Yours? by Fenrir(m):
Bahamas95:
1. Yoruba.......Most of them are naturally respectful and easy going unlike other Nigerian tribes.

2. Hausa.......Very simple people, Hausas years back were very friendly to the extent I even trust them more than my tribespeople. The insurgency in Northern Nigeria spoilt everything and made it look as if they're evil but that's not true. I haven't seen anybody that has lived in the North before speak ill of Hausas.

3. Bini.......We were brothers back then before the government decided to make us different states. I still regard them as my blood. Benin girls are very beautiful, as a matter of fact my wife is from the ancient city of Benin.......I couldn't resist staring at her the very first day I set my eyes on her. Today she's the mother of my little princess.
From a non nigerian mans view, thats lived around you most of his life

In my own country Norway
My dad's families country Sweden
In my mother's families country Denmark
In the UK
And here longer than the other 4

Purely from a marriage perspective and being accepted for who you are and welcomed for who you are

1) is not strictly true

Yoruba people are fun to be around and throw wonderful parties, the women are loving and loyal if treated right

But the families are controlling in the wedding process and simply are not respectful at all in 1 area

They will not automatically respect the grooms wishes around prostration and will use pressure to push him into it or force him into it and if a man does get them to understand hes not doing it the family will expect him to put on grand display of offering at his own wedding and dont understand they have no automatic right to any of it unless a groom is Yoruba himself

Respect goes both ways its not 1 sided like they expect in weddings now understand im not being abusive, just expressing my personal perspective from my experience and from watching friends having to walk away from great women over it

Now from my perspective as dating from almost all tribes

Esan women are absolutely adorable
When you upset one and she shouts your name in anger its an instant 🍆 that accent is sweet but the families tend to be rigid with what they want over anything

Bini women are hard to get on with mainly because so many were put through fgm and are carrying the trauma of what their families did to them and its heartbreaking watching them when they research reconstruction surgery if its stage 2 or 3 because alot think about it

But my personal favourite is igbo simply they are the most open minded to blended weddings

50% the brides culture and 50% the grooms and most families wont argue about it
They are most open to a man wanting to be part of the family and not the tribe

But saying that imo igbo tend to have the same attitude to traditions as yoruba

And again im not being abusive, just my personal experience, there flaws in all people even mine

I hate topics like this cos I didn't enjoy my childhood because I didn't live with my parents. I was suffering in the hands of my uncle and his terrible wife. I wasn't even allowed to go to sch. Was always abused, insulted, emotionally and physically assaulted. Till date, I don't know what love is. I can't love, and I don't want anybody to show me love. Loving me seems like you're about to hurt me.

May God judge all those who suppressed my childhood and denied me love. Thank you for making me timid even as an adult. But no worries, I'm trying to overcome it
Grow up

Try living with yourself after your parents go above and beyond to try and kill you over money

Being removed from your family completely after killing your parents in self defence at 13

Being emancipated and made a legal adult at 13 and sent to a dump like the UK to live as a man

Stop acting so hard done by
Even African parents rarely do stuff like that to sons

Nope, for you lot the biggest scam in adulthood are your wedding traditions

Your parents literally lie to you about the law, your personal freedoms and liberties, your human rights and freedom of choice everyday from birth until you just give up and do it as adults

Am I missing something fundamental about Nigeria?

Since im a completely different race and only got citizenship recently Why are you complaining about balloons? Are your dads just too cheap and not care that they cant just buy you a pack of balloons?

Im not being abusive, im asking for an explanation thats all, is it like fun fairs for us and spending a fortune in allowance just to win a half dead goldfish or something?

And quite frankly the harsh truth is

That if you don't practice what you preach and earn you traditions by living a fairly traditional life

Then you do not deserve them at all

You living the opposite way that your traditions dictate you should then screaming and throwing a tantrum saying that you want them and they must be respected when you didn't respect them yourself

Is not humble
Its not respectful
And its not tolerant

Its greedy
Its selfish
Its a double standard
Its humiliation
Its a lie
Its a mockery
Its undeserved and a million more things none of which you are claiming to be

jagudaman:
As a Nigerian, having Wow! Moments is almost part of daily life. Every other day there is some ridiculous news or gist that drops your jaw. But in 2010 there were definitely some things that left us in a state of shock for more than one day. A wow moment here is not necessarily a bad one. It could be bad, or good, or inspirartional or tear jerking, or just down right hilarious. Over the next few weeks we’ll be counting down the top wow moments in Naija (pop) culture for the year 2010. Let’s hope nothing happens in the next 30 days lol. So without long tings, let’s jump right into it…

Oh by the way, you have the right to disagree with me o. Freedom of speech is very encouraged on this site *smiles*

20. Lesbo Action in Edo State
Lesbian action is nothing new in Nigeria. We’ve all heard about it from our secondary school days, especially from all girl schools. This particular story however was str8 up puzzling because not only did it end up on video that landed on the internet, it was done with the full knowledge of all particpants. 2 girls in action, 1 recording, and 1 lying down on the bed acting like she’s clueless but we know she too dey watch. They all looked like they were sober and enjoying themselves while the girl with the camera was encouraging, and at some point actually participated. Me I was just shocked. Esp coming from the “conservative” society in Nigeria. I wish I could post a link to the video but I’ll leave that one abeg. Ask around or search the video… It’s definitely somewhere. I’d say the most shocking part of the video was the “pure water” commercial at the end. Pure hilarity.

Its not freedom of speech in your country mate
Its freedom of expression and thats slightly different and gives your government a loophole to restrict your speech

Plus you have blasphemy laws in Nigeria, how can you can have freedom of speech and not be able to freely criticise religion or a particular belief system through speech?
