@posta, what i'l advise u to do is this: pray and ask God where 2 pay it. U'l5 b surprisd He'll tel u to give it to a neighbour or an orphanage or a person he shows u in ur dream or a church not necessarily ur own or a family to help their financial status.

Also concernn tithe, it is not "compulsory" to pay it 2 a man of God or a church. It can b paid 2 an orphanage or sm pple hu doesn't have enof. Let me back it up wit dis story: a man paid his tithe f 250k 2 a man of God which he accepted. While prayin, God told him, "hu asked u 2 collect d money?" D man of God was surprised n answered him "I tot u said we shud collect tithe". God told him 2 throw dat money away. There are two things i want 2 emphasize here:
1. No 1 is perfect as with his case.
2. I bliv d throwin f d money was not in vain as God myt v sm1 in mind He wants d moni 2 get to to help him/her.

I neva knew what tribalism was until i came 2 NL. Dis is 1 of the reasons y Nigeria can never be united. Each tribe in 9ja has smtn 2 offer the country one way or the other.
Igbos don't depend on oil. They can depend on agriculture n their technologies which if harnessed properly, ll b exporting them in 8 - 10 years time.
Pls, don't implant this tribalism into ur children cos we wud regret we ever did.

With the recent events happening in Nigeria, from the president's health to the deception in the govt. to the attempted bombing by Mutallab Farouk to the blacklisting of Nigeria as a "country of interest" in "terrorism", how do u see Nigeria in 50 - 70 years time? Do u see a nation that is:
1. divided into smaller nations like Biafra, Oduduwa republic, Arewa republic, Olobiri republic e.t.c
2. still together but still wallowing in corruption where the leaders are power drunk, where there is darkness (no electricity), mismanagement of human & natural resources e.t.c
3. ready to go to a higher level and live its title as "the giant of Africa" where true federalism is practiced; even if true federalism is not practiced, a nation where the govt is able to protect and be accountable to its citizens; where both human and natural resources are utilised 2 the maximum, where religious crisis is curbed to its fullest, where the citizens obey the law, where tribalism is a thing of the past, a nation that other countries will be looking up to e.t.c (not that there won't be problems but that the problems should not take too long too handle)

Me think dat monitoring all d schools won't work cos some r ready 2 offer their houses 4 learning n u no u can't barge into their privacy.

So what's d way 4ward? We must think afterall, we r all intelligent in various ways. As there are many ways 2 kill a rat, so also there must b @ least more than 2 ways 2 curb religious fanatics n xtremists.
Me think 1 of the many solutions is to sit dem down n educate them on tolerance n tell them not to fight for their god if he is all powerful.
