A great man he was. I was quite impressed with the way he developed his own version of a machine called bombe that helped crack the enigma machine of the Germans of which the British govt. kept secret for years. I not only think the impact he would have had if he wasn't dead; I think the same for Einstein. |
Teempakguy:I tell you! Awesome. BTW, I have noticed you rarely come here again. . .you and Johny. . .maybe Quora has taken both of your time. . . Imagine dividing the Earth and Moon in half. . .(my evil self may be developing a crazy tech for this in an alternate world ) |
I love this and the message behind the artwork. |
project8:Had to look up this story. This is very sad. |
BeeBeeOoh:Abeg, call am soapy!! ![]() |
PRESTIGERYHME:It's never late to join. You are welcome! |
Deo27:I think it works like the normal excel for windows. For more knowledge on excel, visit this thread. Though, it is mainly about the excel on PC, same applies to phone. DJEhimond:The problem is likely from them. Larule007:Which OS came with it when you bought the phone and which is currently there? I visited Nokia Care Centre now Microsoft at Ikeja to ask for the price for fixing my phone's screen. I was told #54000. I shouted, "For screen?!" They said yes. I jejely carry myself waka comot. That being said, BBM on Windows is one of the most useless applications to have ever graced the Windows platform. Believe me when I say it is very useless. I mean, you try changing your picture, it keeps loading and then exits without changing it oh; you try opening a recipient's message from the action centre, it keeps loading before it shows or even exit except you click on BBM itself. Check the reviews in the store, most people aren't saying anything good about it. They should better check what is wrong with themselves. ![]() |
tolugar:Of course, Engineers in Nigeria will always be talked down on threads like this. Do you wonder why we are here? Because most Nigerians will rather not patronize made-in-Nigeria if there are other options. I don't blame Nigerians but COREN who is supposed to make headway for Engineers in Nigeria just like the medical profession has. Kudos to China whom many thought will never make it. Why is China where they currently are? They use homegrown tech, same with Japan. . .in fact, I stand to be corrected, most advanced nations use homegrown tech. Ever heard of NNS Andoni? Even the second one about to be made (that is if it is not nearing completion)? Those are Nigerian made vessels. When Innoson brought his cars into the market, what did some Nigerians like you say? (some will come now to call it assembly but before you that, look at the quoted post - just coupling) When the war happened that it was said Biafran soldiers made their weapons and refined oil themselves, what did the Nigerian government do after the war? You want us to be among the league of nations with advanced Engineering, just hope your govt. spends more money on STEM, make universities update their curricula, upgrade the labs in the universities to reflect a 21st century lab, make it compulsory that every Engineering graduate about to serve gets posted to various Engineering firms in the country, build R & D centres while also encouraging those who have the brains to do so with incentives. If it that bad that they do not trust Nigerian Engineers, they should bring back those using certain incentives who has made headway the world over in Engineering to head Engineering parastatals while influencing them with zero or minimal politics, increase your power generation and make transmission and distribution effective, look up solutions provided by many Engineers concerning power, make the steel mills in Nigeria work and watch small Engineering companies spring up all over the nation while competing among themselves and make us produce and design our own tech to match our climate and also design for other African nations. We lost out on semiconductor wars, we should start heading for nanotechnology. |
Dayoto:He's offered a plausible explanation to what actually happened there and is trying to educate Nairalanders instead of people believing some mysterious stuff happened there. . . . |
Interesting! Was it not in this same desert did they discover oil? With the vast land of the north, individuals should really be thinking of starting a solar farm there. |
corlin2:Nice shot but erm. . the comet there is a contrail. ![]() |

mrkayusfit:Of course, we will. Help yourself and read the transcript of what actually happened at the meeting in Aburi; you will know why we still are here instead of advancing much more than we are now. ![]() Ifeann:Of course, he never did but thanks to Nigeria painting him as a villain and changing history. tomakint:People like Akenzua. Besides, I think Gowon had already made up his mind before the meeting. Zoharariel:They really fvcked up BIG TIME! |
Manutd19: ![]() He could not have fared better since he was not a transmigrant. Ever wondered why Hashirama and Madara were feared? Because they were incarnates of Indra and Ashura and when those two fight, there is a difference unlike other past kages from different villages. Charpell:I'd have to disagree with you on the bolded. . .Itachi could handle the sharingan perfectly; the issue here with him is his terminal illness; even that did not stop him from utilizing it completely. Yeah, Nagato could not utilize it properly because the eyes did not belong to him and also, he lacked the complete knowledge of how powerful the rinnegan was. What helped him was the fact that he was an Uzumaki with long life. Na Madara get eyes na so you cannot use it to judge Nagato. Check Ao of the Hidden Mist who had a Byakugan. He didn't utilize it completely also because he wasn't a Hyuga or part of their bloodline. |
Igboid:I know they are Igbos and I am not denying that. ![]() I just don't feel the need for the insults and maybe it is because I am tired of the numerous threads opened about Igbos here. . . |
Igbos, Igbos, Igbos. . .everyday here on NL, new threads are opened about Igbos. Make una leave us be na. . .wetin sef? Frankly, I am tired of the numerous insults such as land grabbers being tagged upon Igbos here. It is annoying. Can we just discuss like mature adults without calling anyone names? ![]() If they say they are not Igbos, leave them be; it doesn't stop others who see themselves as Igbos in that same region. Give them cogent reasons why they are Igbos instead of calling them slaves and if they aren't convinced, let it rest. I met an Ikwerre person during my service year and when he speaks over the phone, people hear Igbo words and they (non-Igbos) keep insisting he's Igbo but he says he's Ikwerre. . .me, I just let them say what they want so it would not look like I am forcing an identity on someone. Igboid:This is one thing I'll admit about SE Igbos despite being one myself; prolly it stems from when an Anioma person performs 'below' expectation in a position of authority, the 'Igbo' tag is automatically hung upon the person's head not minding whether the person denied being Igbo before or not. This is not in anyway supporting the numerous insults of which I also wish they can stop with the name calling. |
KissCODE:I doubt the above happening. Most of these our leaders enjoy taking the truth with them to the grave. |
UjSizzle:I no dey there! *facepalm* MizyB:If you are on Twitter, tweet them like she said. I wish I was chanced to visit a Nokia Care Centre. spacyzuma:This is the same with mine, but this time, the gorilla glass and not the screen itself. 25K? MizyB, you dey hear am so? Yeah BTW guys, I updated to the latest and it seems the FM radio was wiped off. |
Victoriousvic:Issalie!!! ![]() Is that a Pavilion G6-2350sia? |
firestar:My dear, no be my fault. It never occured to me as at then till I watched the fillers of Itachi arc. ![]() Howdy? |
chukxie:To marry come dey do me so oh! ![]() |
solodox:Back the bolded up with fact, thank you. I agree with whomever you quoted - Jiraiya is the strongest of the three sannin! Manutd19:Nandata? Tobirama will meet his end facing Itachi and Nagato? Hizuren? Minato? ![]() |
UjSizzle:My phone's screen just broke. . . Not the IPS LCD but the so called gorilla glass. Who has an idea how much it is going to cost to change it? |
nani667:The second picture makes it seem like you're a hentai. . . ![]() I need to watch Death Note. . . Finally guys, I am beginning to think Jiraiya's informant about Akatsuki was Itachi. . . |
hopilo:Real story of Nigeria? There was a time the video was removed from YouTUBE, don't know if the video is there again. |
Truefederalism: It is good the records are beginning to come out straight on this. What I am still puzzled about is why the other officers did not come out to say what they agreed on at Aburi. I was even ignorant of the fact that all the regions - about six or so were represented, yet, it looked like it was just Ojukwu and Gowon. |
SmooshCHN:My brother, I have been occupied with some things of late. I'll definitely put up something when I am chanced. Thanks. |
seunlayi:I think it is true juxtaposing the whole conversation with the summary of what Akenzua said in this link provided by truefederalism. Gowon was ill-advised (or it prolly may be he already needed a confirmation from people to seal his intentions because judging from the way the conversation went, he must have had something in mind ). And like you said, it could have easily been avoided.Interestingly, could Ojukwu have foreseen what may happen in the future with this quote below? I cannot blame him for declaring Biafra since Gowon reneged on their agreement in Aburi. How can you ride above people's heads and sit in Lagos purely because you are at the Head of a group who have their fingers poised on the trigger? If you do it you remain forever a living example of that indiscipline which we want to get rid of because tomorrow a Corporal will think because he has his finger on the trigger he could just take over the company from the Major Commanding the company and so on.Also this in my own summary: Separate the soldiers first, save lives and then we can reintegrate them gradually after the trust has been built. This should put away the sentiments that Ojukwu was after a region's natural resources. In fact, I cannot even see where they made mention of natural resources unlike what we have today. Ojukwu, though arrogant, he actually understood what was the problem was and proffered solutions to it. So the SMC was there when Ironsi enacted the said degree of centralization and none bothered to raise objections to it but today, he is held as the sole architect to this issue. Intelligent officers then! See me reading this with a mental picture of them on the round table, the secretaries of each standing close to their bosses and microphones all put on the tables with journalists somewhere in one corner of the room. ![]() kenny987:The truth we are knowing. Why im be say na when person die, na im truth dey show? ![]() |
16. [urlhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Berdella]The serial killer:[/url] Robert Andrew "Bob" Berdella (January 31, 1949 – October 8, 1992) was an American serial killer in Kansas City, Missouri who raped, tortured, and killed at least six men between 1984 and 1987. |
How did Femi get that appointment in the first place? Seems he is out of touch with reality. Even here in NL, some APC stalwarts share his sentiments . Rewane had facts and statistics to back whatever he said. Never knew there was misery index, even Seun asked how it was calculated. . .That guest blaming poor power supply on NDA alone is not well informed. First said Nigeria generated the highest MW of power since independence and because of the NDA, we are experiencing epileptic power supply like we weren't in darkness before the NDA started their attacks. cuteboy2:No mod should take this to FP when it is already finished. . . . |
