Guys, i just had to share this. Though, not mine!
|
SmooshCHN:Ok! Thanks What I could quickly do!
|
Someone enlighten me but I thought these NSCDC guys don't carry weapons when it was first created?!?! If yes, why were they allowed to carry weapons now and is it part of their functions to check the contents of cars and trucks?? Nigeria needs to look into these numerous killings by those who are supposed to protect us. Tomorrow, when they say they won't sell weapons to us, we complain!!! ![]() |
All the time, it is to share money. Ask these governors the plans they have laid down to utilize this money, they be foaming in the mouth! Next, they increase tax!!!! ![]() |
Apologies wasting this space! ![]() |
fellis:*dies* Na wa oh!!! ![]() |
SmooshCHN: I go dey manage my phone for now. |
Dollyak:Same thing I did. I guess this forum has a way of influencing one negatively. I entered this thread to have a good laugh with the comments and pictures that will follow subconsciously hoping it shouldn't be my people. That aside, ndi Igbo, we need to discuss this problem arising because it is becoming embarrassing! |
spycamera:Did she attend a university in the SS? I joined too. I'm in DS lab. Hoping to finish all tests before this month passes by. |
charix:I have actually felt pain - I was a victim of false accusation that would have led to something serious, in a dream where I was crying only to wake up with little tears in my eyes. . . ![]() What of laughter? ![]() |
SmooshCHN:I'm good man! I will just that ii haven't been chanced to come across an environment good enough for this recent challenge. BTW, wanted to ask how much you got that camera of yours - the complete set including the tripod and the brand. . . |
Love this! Nice guys! Keep it up! I see your handwork SmooshCHN and Victoriousvic! |
christianboy007:Old ke? Kishi should better give us cogent reasons why Boruto and Kawaki are fighting and what happened to Naruto and Sasuke. ![]() |
IAmTobore:Yeah! Which is why I said the below: I do not think people here are predicting doom for the earthIt just seem like an event bound to happen after all, it has before. |
Tolexander:LOL!!! As many times as they can! ![]() On a normal day, people like Gbawe would have written epistles on why GEJ is very wicked, heartless for not being honest with the citizens. I wonder what he will say now! ![]() |
Abagworo:Stop being clever by half biko! Let us assume PMB is a man of integrity; when asked about subsidy, what was his response? The FG who according to newspaper reports, was going to 'lobby' NLC and TUC and then give the approval to independent marketers to increase pump price behind the citizens is not a govt. of integrity.BTW, not everyone agreed to subsidy being removed as seen during the protests in 2012 except maybe the 5%ers. Where I can fault GEJ is the initial agreement of removing it by April but did so Jan 1, 2012. |
Adexprint:Why do you guys keep recycling this line - the fear of losing 2015 election? Wasn't the nation almost in a state of anarchy? Did people not vehemently oppose the removal? If the killings by the police had continued then, won't y'all still tag him unprintable names? All of a sudden, NLC and TUC are quiet. Of course, their profiles must have been opened for them to keep silent. Let me see how Nigerians react! |
modath:The bolded, exactly what I wrote on Facebook. |
allthingsgood:Pray tell, what is silly in the writeup? How is your people suffering a 'punishment for dining with China?' Is it that people do not queue for hours to get fuel despite being an oil producing nation or that there is electricity? I stood under the rain since 7:00am and returned at about 10:12am, all drenched, paid almost 4000 for the yellow 25litres jerrycan (you do not expect me to carry a big generator to the filling station, do you?) just to get fuel to power my home and preserve the food in the refrigerator. How are they ridiculing Nigeria? The same foreign investors you APC stalwarts called 'paper investors'? I ask again, what is silly in the writeup? Kindly point it out. Thank you. Onegai:This same lack of maintenance culture is why our refineries are bad, why universities are dilapidated, why the roads are not in good conditions, why our power plants are not working at the installed capacity, why we pay expatriates to come help us fix things that otherwise, if we had invested in technical education, would be a piece of cake. I still ask myself the same question: why is water transportation in Lagos not working? People will come and insult the author of the article. She did not say one single lie in there, she didn't even have to exaggerate. Why are we still deceiving ourselves? They have already started like the guy I quoted above. We just love pretending that all is well most times in this country due to our political, religious and ethnic affiliation. Like Chxta said on Twitter, the National animal of the U.S. is an eagle, the National animal of Nigeria should be an ostrich. Because we like burying our heads in the sand to deceive ourselves. ![]() Why is everyone suddenly blaming NDA for fuel.scarcity and no light? We've been suffering these things long before they bombed last week. When are we going to start holding state government's and governors responsible? I'm from the SS and all of my state's past governors have not achieved anything meaningful but are quick to whip up sentiment towards the Federal Govt. And gullible people follow. The oil companies have paid out billions for oil spills and everyone in power from governor to local chiefs have shared the money without even building a health centre in their village yet they will ginger youths to die for them. Sheer stvpidity.Of course, there has to be a fall guy to take the blame for the government's incompetence and make it look like all was well before the bombing started. The bolded, I am still waiting for that day. But given the fact that there is too much power at the centre, it may take long before Nigerians realise that state and local governments are to be held accountable. |
jameseva:The bolded, of course! But note that the three major ethnic groups are guilty of such. ![]() |
“I always say the civil war was fought for the unity of Nigeria because as at the time we have not even discovered oil let alone enjoying it, and we must not also forget that about two million people were killed”. Buhari lamented that it was rather unfortunate that “recently, some people who were not even born then are saying they want to divide Nigeria”.The red bolded, someone correct me if I am wrong but was oil not discovered in 1956 in Olobiri? What of the first refinery built in 1965? Was it not functional before the civil war? Let us now assume that he is correct - why then do people say the Igbos fought the civil war because they wanted to control the Niger Delta oil? The President noted “with the way Sahara is advancing, with Boko Haram, growing number of people and uncertainty over rainfall, in a land where we fought civil war leading to the death of about two million, it would be foolhardy for someone to just say he would chase us away”. Buhari further assured that his administration would do all that is within his powers to ensure the continuous existence of Nigeria as a peaceful and one united entity. The green bolded, his response makes it look like 'fifth columnists' were right about him supporting the massacre going on while paying lip service to dealing decisively with them. The South is now seen as a war booty! Omoshiroi!!!!! He as a president isn't supposed to say that. The President who admitted that he knows the difficulties Nigerians are passing through said government was doing everything possible to change the fortunes of the nation. He appealed to Nigerians to go back to farm as it remains the viable option out of our current economic quagmire, as he futher added “those who don’t have should the necessary wherewithal should learn trade”.The blue bolded, he should be fast because Nigerians are growing impatient by the day. Earlier in an his address, the Emir of Katsina, Abdulmumini Kabir accused the immediate past administration of Goodluck Jonathan for abandoning the contract for dredging of River Niger. Emir Kabir noting that “inland water way is the wealth of the nation and these people don’t want it here”. He urged residents especially the hausa-fulani to intensify prayers for PMB.The brown bolded, prayers without putting the right structures in place is futile. |
Why not post the full story so that people won't think you twisted the president's words? I know the link is there but it is better if you post the full story. |
TheSonOfMark:Arab spring? Possible? I laugh! These same set of Nigerians that during subsidy protest, went to Ojota to catch fun and dance to various artists' music. People were saying "The revolution is here!" I just looked at those saying that and laughed.![]() Same set of Nigerian youths that would rather discuss celebrity topics and how much their bags and houses are worth? We have a long way brother. Mimzy, till we pay more attention to STEM and other important issues like Finance, State of the Economy (making them more attractive than what people feel about it), make intelligent chaps ambassadors of certain brands and mentors to high school people instead of certain artists, I do not see that changing anytime soon. |
crownbryan:You did the moment you said in your opening comment that you believe these conspiracy theories. As for prayers, I do not think God will agree with you about that. Of course, being tribalistic isn't the bane of development but you cannot help but become one when you see how skewed things are. |
crownbryan:What in the world is wrong with you? So the SS/SE were the ones that framed the numerous attacks that happened in Agatu, Plateau, some parts of Middle Belt and now, this one in Taraba? How low can you get? Keep denying till it gets out of hand. |
Jesusloveyou:Sorry oh. . .wasn't it the TAM that GEJ's government said will be completed this 2016? |
ericuzor:The green bolded, hope y'all can see it? I'm pointing this out before some NLers say that it was the villagers who started attacking them. The red bolded, he prolly doesn't want them to 'replace' him like they did his Enugu counterpart. The blue bolded, isn't that an indictment on the police and immigration officers that they aren't able to protect the borders of the countries if foreigners can just come in to cause havoc? |
Smartphone tethering with my Lumia and also Swift4G |
IAmTobore:I do not think people here are predicting doom for the earth. . . then again, was life on earth not destroyed during biblical times? ![]() |
This new Boruto manga looks dope. |
myhotbrain:You might want to make your points without falsehoods. Buhari did not build any refinery though he was the petroleum minister when - if memory does not fail me, Warri refinery was built during OBJ's military tenure which BTW, works were already on ground. This topic has been discussed many times here on Nairaland with appropriate sources, image clips from newspapers and other verifiable source. You may want to search through. . . Thank you. |
