Someone that just said on ChannelsTV that INEC shouldn't have fixed the date of election when GCE is going on till he was told by Seun Okin that the security agencies never cited that as a reason but 'security issues', he nearly became hostile when he retorted "That is the reason I know". Since they have been talking about the postponement, I never read "The coronation" as a reason.

Why can't The Nations media just reference ChannelsTV as the programme he spoke on today?

Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, has expressed surprise at the decision of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to postpone the state’s governorship election earlier slated for Saturday, September 10, 2016.

The agency on Thursday afternoon announced this decision after it had earlier said that it would go ahead with the polls.

Speaking on Channels TV’s Politics Today, Governor Oshiomhole described the decision as a set back for the state.

He frowned at the time it took the electoral body to make the decision, which he said affects the parties’ programmes.

He said that if INEC had given the hint earlier that the election would be postponed, the All Progressives Congress (APC) would have also postponed its final rally to suit the new election date.

The Governor also reacted to allegations that his party was behind the postponement of the election by stating that none of the other parties was as ready as the APC for Saturday’s election.

He argued that the large turnout of supporters at the party’s final campaign rally on Tuesday was an indication that Edo State was indeed an APC state.

He maintained that the only issue that involved him as the Governor of the state was INEC’s decision to fix the election to coincide with the West African Examination Council (WAEC), GCE examination, which led to protests by students of the state.

“INEC ought to have known that the West African Examination calendar was out there. It is not something they fix two or three weeks to the time,” he said.

Look at the line of trees.
On your version of the picture, notice the 'line' of trees is sloping (rather than in a straight line. If it helps place a ruler at the base of the tree line to see the slope.
Now look at the edited version I posted. Notice it's straight now, rather than sloping.
That's what we mean by the horizon should be straight. It makes the whole picture more visually appealing.

What did you use to straighten the tree line? Been seeing the Rule of Third setting but never bothered. Maybe cos it stems from the fact that I hate 'grids'. Seeing various entries using the settings, I may become a big fan of using grid.

In that case, the development ought to cut across the Ibo speaking part of Delta too... Not just the South East as stated in the post.

If they had included SS, some people will still cry and shout that Igbos cannot do without SS oil and they are 'attache by force'. It is good they way they said Igbos, as long as you are Igbo from either the SS (those who agree they are) or SE, then this is for you. Hopefully, when development and economy make serious sense, then they will realise they are Igbos.

NdiIgbo, bikonu, let us keep pressing them to make sure this is fulfilled with little political interest that may ruin all.

A visibly angry Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State visits Ndiagu Attakwu community in Akegbe Ugwu, Nkanu West Local Government Area of the state, where suspected Fulani herdsmen killed a catholic seminarian and injured 4 persons. The governor condemned the dastardly act in its entirety.
He vowed that those who pepertrated the heinous act will not go unpunished, adding his administration will not tolerate the wanton destruction of lives and property in the state by the herdsmen. The governor stormed the hersdmen settlement inside a thick forest apparently to express his displeasure over the heinous act, only to discover that the herdsmen had fled. The governor prayed for the repose of the seminarian and quick recovery of the survivors.

The Catholic Bishop of Enugu, Dr. C.V.C Onaga who visited the grief-stricken community, also condemned the attack and expressed sadness over the incident. He prayed for peace and unity of the country, calling for a permanent solution to the menace of the herdsmen in the country.

The governor has summoned an emergency meeting with the security agencies and Fulani community in the state today at the Government House, Enugu.

Anyway, he needs to improve the security of his communities, light up the towns, tar the streets and improve the livelihood of its people.
With such actions, the herdsmen can be restricted from certain areas of the communities both at night and day.
Set up community vigilantes and empower the police to "storm the herdsmen settlement" in the future.

Finally got the Anniversary Update. Battery performance is noticeably better than after the previous update. Edge works better, too.

Haven't really taken a look around yet, but these are the two improvements I've noticed so far.

never knew I had the update since till I saw screenshots from others. Yeah. . .battery life has improved.
