Sometime every thing about life is always mysthical ,maybè We all live in a mysthical world, but if We dò,then why are We?maybè We were all created by a mysthical being. The thing that intigate mé to write this is when i discover that We are not the perfect holder of our hear but We own it,our heart really Enjoy to bè in the hand of another individual order than us,ask myself why,but i can't really figuere it out maybe it is well understand by our mysthical inventor, because life itself is a mysthical adventure, These thing is not strenge to you my reader because if you want to bè truthful to yourself you will see it that since when you were at the stage of infancy were always longing to bè love by others mostly the opposite sex.yes it true because i can still remember those days when my mother friend's will always call mé their husband, not knowing that as small as i was then, that i always swimm in the ocean of infatuation, but i know for sure that i wasn't the only one is lovely infant desire, these desire incrases as We become older and have the previllage to choose whom to love and spend time in thinking of.Sometime so many people think that the can bè the proper holder of their heart but come to realease that, all effort stay of love is always abortive, because the heart was design to bè love and to love, that why when We are With somebody that doesn't love us We tend to detact no matter how the person try to pretend to love. I felt the pains of holding my heart when i collected my heart from the girl that was holding it for four years, because i notice that my heart was suffering from her hand,i love her so much, but due to Some discoveries i then decide to withdraw the love i had for her,but it was so bad that i could not see the right person to give it to but, so i just thought i could handle it myself since it's my property. I had the believe that i will take care of my heart properly,i think that is what Some people dò think when they choose to stay without a partner,With what i'm seing i have now know that they are really suffering even more that those one's that their heart is being mishandle.believe mé or not was i'm saying is true.because i'm speaking from experience because they say experience is the best teacher,i felt my heart panting for life in my hand feel very lonely even With mé staying With him, so now i'm searching for i proper holder of my heart.please someone should help mé. |

well ASUU should remember thay they are not the owners of universities, they should know that the government own the universities and they are employ by government to manage the universities,so they should stop acting as if they own universities, the government has says what it can afford to spend on university annually for it total development,so the university workers should resume work immediately so that We can all go back to school, the government to should try to keep to their word, because education is not something the government should use to practice politics, lecturer keep urselfishness on the ground and see the interest of our country's future.because the people that taught u never had the comfort u have today so stop comparing urslf With politicians because u can't practise politics if u think it so simple leave school and go into politics oh,Don't decay our university all 4 greed and jealousy |
in a family where the is no understanding, the is balm to be problem, chaos and crisis, even when the were good motive, life is all about understandind during negociation.and in negociation it must always favour the both party,i'm not saying that ASUU or other labour union should not have aspiration for greatness but the fact is as you are aspiring you should also put your legs in the other person shoes and see if it size will, even in a supper market that prices are Tah in all commodity it also gives room for negociation and discount in Some cases,We should no that We are not americans or Ghanains, and every country have their peculia problem.i no that education is very important in every nation which nigeria is not excluded, but the truth is that even all our anual budget is lebel to education it will not still salvage the problem of education in our country since We have so many issue on ground to settle without good seculrity no matter what , education will not successed, which We all no that the government need alot of capital to battle it. No matter the amount of money put into education,if the is no electric power it will make the effort a total waste of time and resource, which We all no that the government are trying to improve it, in nigeria We have alot of sectors that need urgent attention.though it is a proper thing to aspire for devolopment, but whethere We like it or not,it doesn't happened automatic, but it take gradual process,so if We see the kind of stage that our nation is into then We want every sectors in it to change automatically it will lead to the collapse of our country economy, and if the economy collapses i don't think that our infratructure will b able to bail us out. Though the government sigh an agreement that ASUU force them to sigh that was against their will but for the fear of what the students was going through.the problem is not forcing somebody to go into an agreement with you that you know it may not be possible to fulfil it,because when the time to dò the contain of the agreement and the is no capacity, the is nothing you can dò about it. If you see the level of the increase it was not going to be possible, how on earth dò you think that a country that is struggling in all sector will increase a particular ration in the budget from 9% to 23% is not possible.if ASUU will continue on their stand the strike may not end even after ten years because another administration will not dò it,and even if they dò it they will not continue it for along time. Let mé assume that the are genue in their demand, but i doubt it because the way i'm seing things It's the jealousy of ASUU over politicians that make union plan on an agreement that will make them richer than the politician and every other sector in the country,ASUU negociation should not always favour you with 100% but Some time less than that. Afterall ASUU didn't build the university with their personal money, but the government build it and employ you to manager or run it,so you Don't have to kill nigeria because We can't make our university the best in the world for now. We will get there one day not long from now.the best way to win in argument is not always emerging the winner but Sometime losser win in a long run. Take my advise ASUU. |

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Niger Delta University (NDU) chapter, has allayed fears that opposition politicians in the country might hijack its ongoing strike. The Chairman of local chapter of ASUU, Dr. Beke Sese, gave the indication on Tuesday, while speaking at a solidarity rally at the premises of NDU’s Law Faculty in Yenagoa. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that the industrial action which started on July 1, is approaching the fourth month. Sese expressed the union’s displeasure that the strike which was meant to drive home ASUU’s demand for better funding of university education was being hijacked for political interest. “We are aware that some opposition politicians are trying to capitalise on the current ASUU strike to cast aspersions on government and inadvertently trivialise our genuine struggle. “Let me state here that ASUU is not a party to such cheap manifestation of political opportunism. “We rather wish to implore this government to make history by commencing the process of revitalising public universities to a height never attained by any previous administration.” He recalled that the union had over the years, consistently engaged successive governments through dialogue, to compel the political leadership to arrest the rot in the university system. According to the chairman, the leadership of ASUU has held several talks with the Federal Government over a possible peaceful resolution of the present crisis. He said: “But it is quite disheartening that the government has refused to show the necessary commitment and sincerity in its self-proclaimed effort to address our demand. “Rather than honour an agreement it freely entered into with our union after several months of negotiationd, government has resorted to arbitrary imposition of money.” Sese said that the purported disbursement of N100 billion to address the funding requirement of some universities was arbitrary. He recalled that the government had promised to stimulate the process of revitalising the university system with an initial sum of N100 billion for 2012. This, he said, would be built up to a yearly sum of N400 billion in the three years from 2013 to 2015 as intervention. “But regrettably, the said N100 billion being purportedly disbursed is therefore, not at variance with the 2009 agreement and MoU signed with government on the 24th of January, 2012. “Rather, it appears to be a strategy of government aimed at dividing us. “By our estimation, the MoU should have fetched the universities a total sum of N500 billion by now, if government had faithfully implemented the 2012 agreement.” Sese alleged that the “no-fund” refrain by government reflected a “grand” design to frustrate the 2009 agreement and other procedures related to it. He noted that the same government had within the last three years provided trillions of naira from public coffers as “bail outs” to support private concerns such as banks and arlines. The chairman urged parents to support ASUU’s effort to compel government to “do what is right for university education”. He said that the union would remain determined in its effort to bring a drastic change in the university system. NAN reports that the solidarity rally which was supposed to be a public rally along major roads of Yenagoa, was cut short by the Bayelsa Police Command as it refused to grant the union a rally permit. Sese said: “We are supposed to go on a public rally on the streets of Yenagoa, but the police denied us permission. “We, therefore, decided to confine our solidarity rally within the premises of our Law Faculty here in Yenagoa.” Efforts to get the police to comment on the allegation was not successful, as repeated calls put to the Police Public Relations Officer(PPRO), DSP Alex Akhigbe, were not answered. Some of the placards carried by the union members read: “Join ASUU and Save Nigerian Universities, “Agreement is Agreement”, “Support ASUU, Help Our Children” |
Hmmmmmm, nawah oh |
The Chairman of ASUU at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Prof. Adegbola Akinola has advised President Jonathan to stop begging for the strike to be called off and instead honour the 2009 agreement reached with the Union. Akinola spoke to journalists at a rally in Ile-Ife on Monday. He said, “ASUU does not need any plea from Mr. President. We are not asking for impossible things. The Federal Government reached an agreement with us and we are asking them to honour it. It is so simple. “Government should be honourable. Is it honourable not to honour an agreement? Certainly no. The Federal Government should not allow the public universities to continue to degenerate. Posterity will not forgive us if we allow public universities to totally collapse. “Our country has the resources to honour the agreement but education is not given priority. “The Minister of Aviation (Mrs Stella Oduah) just got two bulletproof cars bought for N255m by an agency under her supervision. So, who do you want to tell that this country does not have the resources? “We won’t allow public universities to be destroyed. That is why they are establishing private universities all over the country with the nation’s money. Except those owned by the missionaries, tell me which of the private universities was not established with the nation’s resources?” Also speaking on the strike impasse, the Chairman of ASUU, University of Ibadan chapter, Dr. Olusegun Ajiboye, said they were tired of appeals and wanted action. He said, “Will the President be quiet if his children are in one of our public institutions and be at home for four months? Does he care about the future of the country while the children of the masses in public institutions have been asking their leader to be more sensitive and patriotic enough to public institutions? “How many years of appeal will make the President implement a four-year- old agreement? The truth is that we are tired of appeals. We need action . “In ASUU, our belief is that today’s event will shape the future. We cannot live on appeal while the children of the rich use public funds to study abroad and even make use of government scholarship scheme.” hairman ASUU, UNICAL branch, Dr. James Okpiliya, said, “Our union is law- abiding. We wrote to the police and other security agencies on our intention of walking the streets in pursuance of our cause to put the records straight. “Many groups have been walking the streets giving people the wrong impression about the situation. We just want to put the records straight. The police are telling us that they have orders from above not let us walk the streets of Calabar. It is a shame. You can all see the hypocrisy of government. “They allowed youths and market women but they would not let us do the same. We would remain resolute. No amount of provocation would stop us. “We are not on strike because of our salaries. We are fighting for our students and the terrible conditions of our universities. Most of our science students do not know the difference between a Bunsen burner and a stove. They don’t even know the chemicals. “The Tertiary Education Trust Fund today has become a main funding source of our universities, but this is not to be so. TETFUND is only an intervention agency. Government has bailed out banks and even Nollywood, but not our universities. “The strike would continue as long as the government remains adamant. The President said after all, the strike in Ghana lasted two years; so that means this one could continue even up to five years. |
