EventsMarriage Proposal Ideas And Rings by fermonster(op): 2:19pm On Sep 13, 2016
Source: http://glamafrica.com.ng

A marriage proposal will (hopefully) only happen once in your lifetime, so you’ll want it to be memorable and perfect. After you’ve worked up the nerve to ask, you’ll want a creative and romantic way to pop the question. To help you out, here are unique marriage proposal ideas that are sure to make a big impression:

1.Take your sweetheart to the exact place where you had your first date. Reminisce a little and then say something like, “We’ve had an amazing journey together so far, and now I think we’re ready to take the next step in that journey. I’m hoping you’ll do me the honor of marrying me.”
2. The holidays is the perfect time to propose. Hang the ring box like an ornament on the tree. When the last present has been opened, say, “Wait, there’s still one more present.” Ask your intended to find it or simply retrieve it and propose.
3.Another holiday marriage proposal idea is to wrap the ring box inside several bigger boxes, like Russian nesting dolls, so your sweetheart will think the present is very large. As each layer is opened, the laughs will grow. Get down on one knee right as the last box is opened.
4.Spell out the marriage proposal in some place they aren’t expecting to see it, perhaps using alphabet refrigerator magnets, writing it in lipstick on the bathroom mirror, using glow-in-the dark stars to write it on the bedroom ceiling, or getting up early and slipping a fake newspaper page into the real newspaper.
5.Create a path to the engagement ring. For example, scatter petals from the front door to the bedroom and use more petals to spell out “Will you marry me?” Alternatively, you could use candles to trace a path, but be careful. You don’t burn the house down!
6.Place sweet notes in different spots around the house. In each spot, write something that you love about your sweetheart and where to find the next note. In the last note say “For all these reasons and more, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?”
7. Write it on a jigsaw puzzle! Print “Will you marry me?” on a custom jigsaw puzzle on Shutterfly or Portrait Puzzles, and have your sweetie solve it.
8.Buy a box of chocolates for your sweetheart and replace one chocolate with the ring. When they open it up, get down on one knee to finish the job.
10. You could also hide the ring box in a carton of eggs. When they go to make breakfast, be ready to drop to one knee.
11.Most movie theaters have repeating advertising slides before the previews that can be purchased. Pay for slide and be sure to get to the theater early enough.
12.Get a street busker to sing “Will you marry me?” as you walk by. Ask, “Do you hear what he’s singing?” Then drop to one knee and pop the question.
13.If your intended flies often, get friends and family to join you at the airport where they’ll each hold up signs spelling out “Will you marry me?” as your sweetheart disembarks from the plane. Make sure you’re the one holding the “me” sign!
14.Plan a surprise trip using blindfolds and circuitous routes. When you get to your destination – hopefully a beautiful, secluded spot – pop the question. If you’re planning to stay overnight, don’t forget to pack a bag for your sweetheart!
15.Restaurants are often very popular places to propose. Call beforehand and get their advice on the best way to propose in their restaurant. Perhaps the proposal is written out on a plate or the waiter delivers the ring along with your entrees.
16.At the beach, tell your sweetheart that you are going to draw a picture, but not to look yet because you want it to get it right. Write the marriage proposal in the sand, then bring them over to see what you’ve created.
17.Pack a romantic picnic and put the ring in with the dessert. After a leisurely meal, ask your honey to get out the dessert.
18. Skywriting is such a cool, unique way to propose. You can both have an intimate and private marriage proposal, while still proclaiming your love to the world. Another alternative: get a plane to fly a banner with “Will you marry me, ___?” over your town.
19.For a wintery marriage proposal when there’s snow on the ground, pack the snow into letters or take a squeeze bottle filled with red colored water and spell out “Will you marry me?” in the snow.
20.Give your sweetheart a sensual massage and save the left hand for last. As you massage that hand, slip the ring on and be ready to pop the question.
21.Play a trivia game together. When it is your sweetheart’s turn, casually say, “Your question is: Will you marry me?” rather than the question written on the card.
23.Scavenger hunts are always an entertaining marriage proposal idea. Start off with a simple clue to someplace nearby, then get more complicated as the scavenger hunt progresses. Have the final location be a place where you can hide, and then pop out and get down on one knee.

Here are some best rings ideas.

FashionHottest Lipstick Colors For The Season And Finding Your Perfect Shade by fermonster(op): 8:33am On Sep 09, 2016

One of the most common question lipstick-related always asked is “What color lipstick should I wear?” The correct answer is, “Whatever color you want!”
Freedom aside, finding the right shade of lipstick for your complexion, coloring, personal preference, etc. is not as easy as going to your local department store and saying, “That one!” For starters, it’s important to know your undertones—those pesky base colors in your complexion that seem to appear only when you’re wearing the wrong shade. They usually skew warm, neutral, or cool. If you’re curious as to where you fall, consider the following:

Are you more likely to burn in the sun or tan? If you burn, your undertones are cooler. If you tan, your undertones are warm.
What does your foundation say? Most foundations/concealers/tints will tell you what tones they best suit.
Look at the color of the veins on your wrist—blue usually means cool and green usually means warm, but if you can’t quite tell, you might be neutral.
Once you’ve found your undertone, choose a lipstick with a complimentary coloring. Blue-toned lipsticks (think: deep classic reds) look great on cool faces, for example, while peaches and oranges are better suited to warmer colorings.
It’s a journey of sorts—one that requires a lot of trial and error, plus a few hundred swatches, before finding The One. Luckily, Glossier HQ is crawling with people who have put in the time and effort to find their matches. Several conversations about lipstick journeys turned into a definitive roundup of the best lipstick colors of all time, organized by concentrations of melanin for your shopping pleasure. Browse freely, and if you have your own journey, we’d love to hear that, too:

EventsSelecting Bridesmaids Dresses And Understanding Their Body Type by fermonster(op): 6:40am On Sep 07, 2016
Source: http://glamafrica.com.ng

Weddings are a large milestone for many people and because of this it is important for those involved in the process to focus on details to make it a perfect day. There are many aspects involved in planning weddings but one of the more intricate decisions can be selecting bridesmaids and finding the perfect dress to suit their various body types. The bridesmaids typically consist of the bride’s close friends and family members. Bridesmaids’ dresses can be a controversial issue between the bridesmaid and bride. Depending on how many bridesmaids the bride chooses, there are many different opinions and suggestions that need to be taken into consideration when selecting a bridesmaid dress. A growing tradition for bridesmaids’ dresses is that the bride selects the color and the designer and allows the bridesmaids to select a flattering style. This guide provides information on understanding different body types, dress styles, dress colors, and dress materials, as well as suggestions for the perfect bridesmaid dress for your body.

Determining Body Type
The first step in determining a bridesmaid’s body is to calculate the bust, waist, and hip measurements. Body types can be classified into four main categories: apple, banana, pear, and hourglass. The apple shaped figures are identified as having broad shoulders, narrow hips, and thighs. Those with a straight shape and little to no curves fall into the banana body shape category. The pear body type is classified as having a hip measurement larger than the bust measurement. Finally, the hourglass body shape, also known as, “X shape”, is categorized by having similar bust and hip measurements with a smaller waist measurement. For example, a woman with measurements equal to a 36 inch bust, 28 inch waist, and 36 inch hips is considered to have an hourglass body type. Although apple, banana, pear, and hourglass body types are four basic categories, it is possible for some people to fall in between categories or fit into multiple groups.

Styles of Dresses
Dress Length
Neckline
Silhouette
Sleeve length
Choosing the right bridesmaid dress can be tough.

Dress Length
The dress length of bridesmaids’ gowns are divided into three categories: cocktail, tea length, and full length. Cocktail bridesmaid dresses, where the skirts end at mid thigh, are becoming more popular and are worn almost year round. In order to decide which body type suits the cocktail dress, the silhouette must also be considered. Tea length bridesmaid dresses hit at the calf or shin, are less formal, and offer the potential to be worn again. Usually tea length dresses are fitted at the top and flare out at the bottom. Tea length dresses appeal to hourglass and pear body types. Full length bridesmaid dresses flatter all body shapes, however, brides should take into consideration the height of their bridesmaids. If some are very tall they may need to request extra length, and for bridal party members who are on the shorter side, they may need to get the full length dress hemmed.

Neckline
The neckline is important to consider because it helps show off or conceal the bust. Bateau, halter, one shoulder, scoop, square, sweetheart, and v-neck are all examples of necklines for bridesmaids dresses. The bateau neckline, also known as, “boat neck,” refers to a wide neckline that runs horizontally. This does not flatter the apple body type because it accentuates broad shoulders but is recommended for the pear body type. A flattering recommendation for apple body type is the one shoulder or square neckline. On the other hand, the scoop neckline, where a rounded low neckline dipping from the shoulders to just about the bust line, is recommended for the pear body type because of the smaller bust in comparison to the hip measurements. The banana body type is classified as being straight and two neckline types are recommended for those with this body shape. The sweetheart neckline, which is low at the front and in the shape of the top of a heart, and v-neck bridesmaid dresses are suggested to help give the illusion of a more full shape.

Silhouette
The silhouette, which is essentially the full-body shape of the dress, is an important factor to consider when choosing the perfect bridesmaid dress for your body. A-Line, drop waist, empire waist, full skirt, surplice bodice, and trumpet skirt are all examples of silhouettes. The A-line bridesmaid dress fits at the hips and gradually widens toward the hem. It is the recommended style if the bride chooses only one bridesmaid dress for multiple girls with varying body types. The drop waist balances the lower and upper body and therefore is recommended for apple and pear shape body types. The empire waist bridesmaid dress works with multiple body types because it does not require a defined waist and adds the illusion of additional height to the bridesmaid. All three body types, with the exception of the hourglass, are very attractive wearing an empire waist dress. The surplice bodice, which is a bodice created by the cross wrapping of fabric, is recommended for the pear body type. The trumpet skirt, where the silhouette is straight and figure hugging with a flare around the hem, is suggested for the banana body type.

Sleeve Length
Some people are self conscious about their arms; therefore, selecting the correct sleeve length is essential. Sleeve length options consist of cap sleeve, jacket, sleeveless, spaghetti strap, strapless, and wide strap. Those with an apple body type can benefit by wearing a cap sleeve bridesmaid dress or a jacket because of their broad shoulders. On the other hand, the pear shape, having a smaller bust to waist ratio, can wear sleeveless, spaghetti strap, or strapless bridesmaid dresses. Strapless and spaghetti strap styles are recommended for the hourglass because it helps draw attention to the smaller waist. Cap sleeve, jacket, or wide straps are all beneficial sleeve lengths for the banana shaped body because they adds curves and a more defined figure to the straight body type.

Color
Deciding on the color of the bridesmaid dress is often based upon the time of the year. Darker colors are worn in the fall and winter while bright and soft colors are worn in the spring and summer. The bride has the final decision on selecting the color of the bridesmaid dress. Bridesmaids may want to voice their opinion to assure the bride is aware of colors they prefer and those which flatter their skin tones. Classy and neutral colors are likely to be worn again to future functions; examples include black, navy, and espresso. When selecting a bridesmaid dress it is important to note that brick and mortar bridal stores only receives a few samples of each type of gown and may not have the dress of choice in the preferred color.

Fabric
The fabric for the bridesmaid dress typically depends on the time of the year. Taffeta fabric, satin fabric, and chiffon fabric are three popular fabrics for bridesmaids dresses. Taffeta dresses are often worn during cooler months because of their insulating effect whereas chiffon dresses are worn during the warmer months because of the lightweight fabric. Satin is a comfortable fabric and stands out well in pictures. The bride may select the fabric depending on whether the wedding is more casual or formal. Satin and taffeta dresses are generally selected for more formal weddings and chiffon is opted for more casual weddings. The different types of fabrics affect how a dress looks on each bridesmaid. Chiffon fabric is more forgiving on all body types as compared to satin or taffeta fabrics.

Conclusion
Planning a wedding is a huge endeavor with hundreds of options and small details for the bride and groom to consider. On the wedding day, all eyes will be on the bride, and she will want her bridesmaids looking their best as they stand next to her providing support. Therefore, it is essential to choose the perfect bridesmaid dress for your body. In order to select the most flattering garment, the first step is to understand different body types. Once body types have been determined, then dress factors must be considered including style, fabric, and color. Styles vary by neckline, length, sleeve length, and silhouette. Hopefully, the bride takes into consideration the body type of all the bridesmaids before deciding if the bridal party should wear the all same style or if they can wear varying styles. If the bride selects varying styles it is possible for the bridesmaids to look stylish and elegant while still looking uniform and being distinguished from other guests. The more involved bridesmaids are in helping the bride select the bridesmaids’ dresses, the more likely the bridesmaids love their garment and can feel confident on such an important day.

CelebritiesAfrica Inspired Interior Designs by fermonster(op): 8:53pm On Sep 06, 2016
This is a trend that is already many years very popular. Vivid colors combined with earth tones are the basis of this style. Details such as animal prints further emphasize the splendor of the black continent. Virtual masks and wooden figures giving to the space mystical note. The recipe for this decorating style is simple – in the house you should enter the warmth of the sun and sand, but also the wealth of flora and fauna.
The simplest version of the African interior can be done with minimal cost to your budget, all you need to do is set the wall wallpaper African native, rural or animal themes. Another option for editing home in African style is to enter rough and simply wicker furniture with low quality of the surface finish.

Nothing else makes this interior special and unique such as masks from clay and wood made by local craftsmen, which are so simple made and possess great aesthetic properties. Similar pleasing effect is achieved by using natural leather from zebra in the interior and wallpapers with landscapes of sunsets and sunrises in Africa.

BusinessDo The Right Thing At The Right Time. by fermonster(op): 8:02am On Jun 03, 2016
Summary: Be focused.
Case study: Me,
Target: You!

Don’t procrastinate, never mix pleasure with work. Always work with a plan and never deviate from it. And I find the best way to stay focused is to reward yourself after each activity you complete.

Make time for fun, working from Monday to Sunday is insanity.
But when it is time to work, do it like it’s the only thing you care about. Don’t be in the middle of work and start playing around. Spend a good amount of time working, because that is where the money for fun comes from. And be very careful about chasing after ladies, one woman is enough. You will lose money chasing after ladies and at the end of the day, lose the ladies too.

But if you go after the money, you will never lose the ladies. There is time for everything. Learn to take control and do it right.
Spend the time meant for family with family, time for friends with friends, mingle for mingle, jingle for jingle and so on. Don’t mix it up. Patience and time are the most precious and powerful gift from God. If you use both well, you will discover how powerful you are and the kind of consistent and persistent progress you will make.

Whatever you chose to do in life, fun, work etc. do it with love and care. Be focused and try as much as possible to avoid unnecessary distractions. Better yet, stay away from distractions.

This is me just passing my message in my own way. Call it my opinion, common sense, facts or whatever.
That am right doesn’t make you wrong, that am wrong doesn’t make you right.

Summary: Be yourself.
Case study: Me,

People should stop pretending to be doing it right when they are actually doing it wrong. I can’t even write half of what I know about this topic. A good number of facebook users will testify to the fact that a few updates by friends showing off cars, clothes, phones, and cash as their possessions are all lies.

That is just a perfect example of someone pretending to be someone else. And the saddest part of all this lies is that they can’t get help because their facebook wall is filled with iphone 6, cash, clothes and cars. That’s a clear sign of am okay don’t help me!
But you are not, as a matter of fact you need recharge card. You cannot hide the truth for long.

“I quote: you can deceive everybody some of the time or some of the people all the time, but you can never deceive all the people all the time”.

You will deny yourself the help you deserve the moment you start pretending to be someone else. There is nothing wrong with anyone; we are all perfect in our own way. Discover the real you by doing what you love doing, perfecting it and watch the miracle called success locate you.

If people can make so much money from selling 5 naira pure water, then I don’t see anything too small to become a big money making idea that will make you financially free.

Keep pushing relentlessly and consistently, the sky is your starting point.

Can you talk the talk, but can’t walk the walk! Most of us are like that including me. I was among most of these internet marketers that keep promising people millions without even having 100k in my account. Crazy, but that was the fake life then that I learnt from and became a better person today.

Life will start favoring you the moment you start talking the talk and walking the walk. You can make a lot of money by being yourself. We all have something valuable to offer and whatsoever has value, and can solve peoples problem is something worth paying for.

There is no hurry in life, trust me. You can try rushing, but you will not go far. And at the end of the day you would have made better progress by patiently and consistently doing things the right way.
No work on earth goes unrewarded. You just have to play it carefully. Don’t work with peoples timing, use your own time and move at your own paste. Your life is yours and no one should be allowed to live it for you. Build your life and enjoy your life. Nagode!

Summary: You are not leveraging all of you.
Case study: Me,
Target: You!

What do you have, and how can you use it to get what you deserve?
I have friends, I have family, I have my skills/talents/gifts. So all I need to do now is talk to my family and friends about my skills/talents/gifts and how I want to make a living with it. If they can help me with some money or loan. Great! If they can’t, we will find a way because family/friends are all I have got. And without wasting much time, I will get to work

“I quote: don’t you know if one door is closed, another one opens? Bob Marley”.

Alternatively, if I can develop a website, I will start developing for family/friends for free and get referrals from doing that. Or I will start educating people in my community for free to learn the basics, then as the lesson commences, they will definitely want to advance their knowledge and that is where the payment comes in.

BusinessAre You Letting Yourself Fail? by fermonster(op): 7:17am On May 30, 2016
Summary: Don’t be afraid to fail.
Case study: Me,
Target: You and failure!

This is so painful and scary but the truth is, success only comes through failure!

It is only when you fail that you can actually tell what went wrong and how to fix it and improve.
Failure is unavoidable to every successful man/woman. So if you think you will be successful by avoiding risk to stay safe, then you are already a failure and you will remain a failure. As harsh as that might sound, but that is the truth.

Successful people don’t always know the outcome of most businesses they venture into but they still do it anyway because that is the one and only way to know if it will be a success or not. And once they start, they don’t stop until success is attained maintained and sustained.
The summary of this topic is, successful people don’t consider failure as an option. They don’t see failure at all and that is why they overcome and always get to their destination.

But unsuccessful people are so scared and they complain a lot. Unsuccessful people will always come up with excuses. Like: no capital, it’s hard, corruption, I need this, I need that, how do I do this, which will help me, I might fail…. And so on.

A typical successful man/woman will always say, I know I can do it, I will start here, I will do this today, do those tomorrow and if I run out of cash, I will meet my friends and family or take a loan and move on. A successful man will go on and say by this time next month, I must have achieved this and that and start employing people to work with me.

It sounds easy and tricky right? But the truth is, if you where to be a successful man/woman, answer this question.
How will you run your company?
With fear
With authority

To be successful tomorrow, you have to be successful today!

BusinessYou aren’t developing customized habit that allow you to perform at a high level by fermonster(op): 11:18am On May 29, 2016
Summary: Consistency wins every time. Habits help you stay consistent.
Case study: Me,
Target: You and your habits!

Let me start with a story about a fisherman and his son. This story does a better job explaining why consistency always wins.

An African aged man will always wake up around 3a.m to go fishing with his young son. They will both gather their fishing materials and then set the boat off for fishing. They will be onshore for more than four hours daily casting their nets every now and then in various directions.

They continued going out to fish every morning regardless of the fact that they haven’t succeeded for once. Each morning the man will go and wake the son up with a lamp and they will both go fishing. These continued for several weeks.

Relentlessly, this family kept waking up at the same time with faith, passion and determination consistently.

It came to past anyway, one glorious morning after sailing for a while; they saw sea birds flying over a portion of the sea. They sailed to that part, and cast there net and caught as much fishes as they could ever handle. With this much fish, they fed an entire community.

The next morning, the young boy was the one to go and wake the father up for fishing.

Lesson: never give up in life, consistency will always win. And at the end of the day, you will rest and someone else following your footsteps will take over and take care of you.

BusinessYou Aren’t Managing Yourself Like The Asset You Are. by fermonster(op): 8:08am On May 28, 2016
Summary: You are all you have, practice self care.
Case study: Me,
Target: You!

“I quote; I will kiss myself if I could. Bob – One of Americans most respected authors”
That is self love for you.

The fact still remains; if you can’t love yourself then you can’t love people. Because you can’t give what you don’t have. Every morning when I wake up, I pray, pick up a comb and comb my beards, pick up the hairbrush and brush my hair and compliment myself in front of the mirror.

How has this helped me? It helped me build confidence in myself and at such now I can compliment other people and gain favor from them subconsciously. That is me using myself as an asset to get what I deserve.
Ladies do that always. A beautiful lady sitting in the bar or garden doesn’t have to make a request before it is even granted. Self care/ self love is what she used and there you are asking her what you can offer her and spending the money you budgeted for food on a girl you barely know.

You don’t need to be lady to attract favor from people. As a man learn to compliment people by complimenting yourself.
Learn to give people gifts by giving yourself and so on and watch how favor will locate you spontaneously.

If there is one law I can stand for today and forever. It will be the law of attraction. You attract into your life situations and circumstances that are in rhythm with your mind. So whatever you nurture in your mind frequently is what persists. So if you tell yourself how good you are, then you will tell people how good they look and in doing so, goodness will follow you. BusinessYou Don’t Ask For Help. by fermonster(op): 7:12am On May 26, 2016
Summary: Ask knock seek receive…
Case study: Me,
Target: You and your investment!

Well, this one should be pretty easy to figure out, but am still going to say it anyway. I posted an article couple of days back about how I needed volunteers and had to post on my facebook wall to get some volunteers to work with on my project. Yeah, I got two friends and that’s just one way out of many to get help without breaking a bank. And you have to learn how to do the same.

We all need help in one way or the other and without it, we will be stuck at a very uncomfortable stage in life. You don’t have to be ashamed of asking for help from people, every reasonable and well educated person offering you help should know that nothing goes for nothing. And for every help rendered, it is a favor gained in return.
So only ask for help from people who are educated.

NOTE: an educated person is someone who can get whatever he/she deserves financially or the equivalent without violating the rights of others.
In other words, you as a man/woman doing the right thing to make a living are educated. You don’t need to be an O’level holder, degree holder, masters, PhD…, in other to be educated. We are all educated in our own way. Thanks to God.

To grow every second in life, you need to ask for help. From God, man, woman, friends, family etc.
Don’t be shy or afraid to seek for help. God and his 12 disciples is a clear sign that every man/woman needs help. So please, be my guest and be happy and grateful whenever you get the help you deserve and never forget to return the favor.

BusinessYou Are Not Focused In Your Investments. by fermonster(op): 7:13am On May 25, 2016
Summary: Monitor your progress.
Case study: Me,
Target: You and your investment!

You just started building your business with some money you saved over a month or more. But you realize that the only progress you have made is just the structural aspect. (i.e.: building it).
But that won’t get you far. The likes of Dangote, Bill gates, and Mark Zuckerberg will always say:
“I quote: the products/services are just 5% of the total work to achieve success. But marketing is 95%.”

Without marketing, you don’t have a business. So whenever you start or are thinking of starting any business, consider the fact that marketing plays a huge role for you becoming successful. Don’t just go and throw all your money into building something and then leaving it to market/sell itself.
Focus on the marketing aspect because you will be surprise to find out that your business idea is already out they and the only way to beat the competition is through a strategic marketing plan that over performs and knock your competitors out.

That your kind of business is out there doesn’t make yours less relevant. NO, you still have a 70% shot at making it. The possibilities and opportunities to be successful in any market are endless.
The best progress you can ever make and become successful is to market consistently. HOW?
Use word of mouth, use adverts on facebook, use adverts on google, and post about your business on blogs, forums. Just keep pushing. No effort is a waste.

It might surprise you and in fact you might not believe it but I will say it anyway. I made a post on nairaland two years back and I never even cared to follow up on the post but I dropped my phone number anyway. Two years later, am getting calls from people and they were interested in my products. If I had continued pushing the post and marketing my products, I know I would have seen results earlier.

Keep pushing, never give up.

BusinessAre You Investing In Yourself And Your Dreams? by fermonster(op): 6:36am On May 24, 2016
Summary: You are your obligation.
Case study: Me,
Target: You!

My dream is to own one of the biggest online company that will give Nigerians and the world a part time and highly profitable job, that will not reap them off but keep them up, that will not eat them but meet them in times of needs, that will not break them but make them daily. So how am I making this dream a reality and how am I investing into this dream?

I use to spend 5k weekly on beer, but now I spend 2k
I use to spend 15k on internet subscription monthly chatting on facebook, twitter and instagram. But now I just focus more on business and reduced the cost to 10k
I use to eat out and spend 5 hundred naira daily amounting to 15k plus the food I had at home. So I stopped eating out, bought food stuffs instead, cooked at home and saved 5k extra
Optional: I spent more on polo’s and avoided shirts, since most shirts cost more than polo’s. This also actually saved me ironing time too and money.
I consider this fourth step optional because you need to look good no matter how crazy things might seem.

With the money saved and help from family and friends, I started up my company. I bought a domain name, hosted it, registered the name and started marketing on blogs and forums.

Well, I think am just going to leave you with my steps and hope to shed more lights on this in my forthcoming posts.

BusinessStop Being Focused On The Outcome. by fermonster(op): 6:54am On May 22, 2016
Summary: Enjoy the journey.
Case study: Me,
Target: You and your journey!

We need to step back and check in with our purpose and why we are on this journey.

“I quote; the battle is as sweet as the victory. Bob Marley”

I love knowledge. And it only comes as a result of learning and learning is a journey into the unknown.

“I quote; so I saw that there is nothing better for a person than to enjoy their work, because that is their lot. For who can bring them to see what will happen after them. Ecclesiastes 3:22”.

If you are not enjoying what you are doing, please stop and find love doing something else. Because even if you are making a lot of money from whatever you are doing, at the end of the day you will discover that you won’t have the time to enjoy it and not just that.
You will see yourself complaining about the work in one way or the other. Majority of the people doing what they don’t love, live a life full of regrets daily and that always leads to frustration.

It is better to remain jobless, than working without love on a job daily. It’s hell!
To be successful in life, you need to make sacrifices. Your time, pleasures, family and so on. It helps you on the journey.

But you can’t make those choices or sacrifice if you don’t love what you do. Sometimes you need to leave your family, starve yourself, and miss Friday fun just to invest the money on your journey to success knowing that tomorrow will be better. But making all these sacrifices doesn’t have to make you unhappy. No,

It has to put a smile on your face because you know how bright your future is and every day, deserves to be better than the previous one. That’s how it will be. Go out there and do what you love and enjoy doing.
Forget about the outcome, keep pushing. What will be, will be. It’s just a matter of time and patience.

BusinessDo You Have A Daily Mindset Practice? by fermonster(op): 7:51am On May 21, 2016
Summary: Free the mind.
Case study: Me,
Target: You!

You need to get into your head and sort it out, everyday challenge yourself to work through resistance and fear.
My fear back then when I was starting up was failure. I had the opportunity to advertise my business on facebook for 2months and pay back after 2months. This ads total credit sums up to over 100k.

So my fear was what if I don’t make the money in less than two months?
And this same business is all I have, and I have put so much time, scope and the only thing remaining now was money for marketing the business.

But the question I failed to ask myself at that point was what if I don’t try and fail. How will I know if I won’t make the money in less than two months? Will they kill me? Or will they give me an opportunity to repay them?

But guess what people. I did advertise with facebook, payed my dues and am happy I did.
What I actually did to overcome my fear was to place google adsense and revenuehits on my website. In case of incasity. And thank God, they all helped and I am free today from the fear and resistance of failure.
So every day, I kept telling people these:
You have to try before you can fail
You have to try before you can succeed
But if you don’t try, you won’t know
If you don’t try, you won’t succeed
If you don’t try, you are a failure
If you try, you might fail
If you try, you will succeed. Because only through failure comes success.

Fact is that you can only succeed when you try but you will always remain a failure if you don’t try. So why not change that fact of failure today by trying. Always tell yourself that you can daily. It works and worked for me.

This is me just passing my message in my own way. Call it my opinion, common sense, facts or whatever.

Every day is an opportunity to get better and everyone including me deserves better as a step to being the best.
My goal in life is to be the best in the following:

Finance
Relationship
Fun
Health
Moral excellence
Communication
And everything that will contribute positively to my growth.

I love my life today, my relationship is beautiful and I grow positively by just been contented with all I have now, as little as it might be. The only way to be happy in life is to love what you have now on your journey to acquiring bigger and better things in life.
There will always be a car better than yours, there will always be a girl more beautiful than yours, and there will always be a house better than yours. But you will never be happy until you learn to love yours.

Prioritizing personal development is a necessity for everyman aspiring for greatness in life. As an entrepreneur, you need to develop yourself daily by taking a step further and do things today, better than yesterday. Stay healthy, eat healthy, talk positively.

If you make one naira today, go for two naira tomorrow.
Wake up early, exercise, drink water, eat fruits, talk nicely, compliment yourself, improve on your communications, forgive, move on, enjoy life, stay updated, have fun, be contented.

Keep in touch with family and friends, get your spouse’s involved in what you do. If you need help, ask!

Summary: Likeminded people.
Case study: Me,
Target: You!

It matters a whole lot, but I thought it didn’t. Back then, I will always go out and smoke, drink, get back home. Sleep for like 8hours when normally I do sleep for 4hours. Then work for like 8hours when I normally work for 12 – 14hours daily.
But everything changed because I was busy hanging out with the wrong people at the right time for work. So at the end of the day, I got more smokes, more alcohol and more distractions. Life was just like chasing the wind!
Every time I bring the topic of my project and how we could work together to make it, I was offered even more smokes and alcohol. D.I.E!!!

So after years of chasing the wind, I had to retrace my steps, Get into my head and fix something because I was heading nowhere. My project was dying slowly because I wasn’t paying full attention to it.

So I had to do it differently. This time around, I posted on my facebook wall seeking for volunteers on my project and promised them a share once the company starts making money. And guess what? I got two people willing to help. These two guys don’t even live nearby but we worked together, made progress together, communicate and grew together.
In less than a month, we made a great deal of progress and for once, I felt Gooood.
And now I say for a fact that, sometimes surrounding yourself with the right people doesn’t always have to mean you living with them under one roof. Just communicate with them frequently.

So my question for you today is?

What are your goals in life and how are the people around you helping?

Case study: Me,
Target: You!

Yes. I have, years back I started up an online business where I sell my own eBooks for just 1k. It started well, but didn’t continue well and so, it ended badly. There and then did I realize how badly I have managed myself and let challenges win me. I let disappointments of poor sales and no help break me.
In life as you grow, you will learn that the only way to move fast, better and be financially free, is to go beyond yourself and also set up a team. You can never do it alone, get people involved in your dreams and see what they have to offer. Build on it and grow.

The good news with me starting up my own eBook business was that, I came a long way. But the bad news, I went the wrong way the moment I chose to work alone and at the end of the day, I crashed alone and nobody came to my rescue.
So today, I challenge you to think bigger and go beyond yourself. Setup a team, break rules and build an empire.
